21/06/2026: Fathers day we came for breakfast only to find they had no breakfast. Ended having 2 slices of brown bread because soup was terrible.

28/05/2026: Popped in for some weekday lunch. My son really enjoyed his sausages and chips and I had seafood chowder It was the best tasting chowder I've had in years. We definitely will be back next time we're in the area.

06/06/2026: They had many gluten free options. I ordered shepherds pie and my boyfriend had the seafood pie. We both preferred his seafood pie. Both were gluten free which was great. On arrival we waited to be seated but when no-one came we took a seat and grabbed the menus ourselves. Over all it’s great for lunch and not too busy.

14/07/2026: My friend and I go here regularly and the food and service is always exceptional. However, theres even more to my happiness they added ethically friendly cola which is not as common as it should be. Well done. And their granola my friend advised is top notch so im going to get to bring home. The @palestincola is yum and they have lots of flavours. This addition will make me go there even more often. Great shopping choices. Thank you.

30/06/2026: Nice place overall. Overpriced for what it offers. Last time I ate there I had the breakfast and it was nothing to write home about. Poached eggs were completely raw on inside, snotty slime when cut open, looked nice but not edible.

10/05/2026: We had a beautiful breakfast pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup and a large pot of tea ☕.

29/07/2026: Had a really nice dinner here, a little expensive but it's a Castle so you get what you pay for.. staff were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

14/07/2026: Nicest pint oi guinness in Dublin by a country mile. Derek early shift in the bar, 100% consistency a pint of cream.a few of the younger lads are very good aswell.

30/06/2026: Food is good ...supermacs is probably one of the best fat foods restaurants around much better than many of the others except for one thing ...almost every fat food place other than supermacs provides sweetener with teaand coffee..whereas Supermacs don't ..and won't As a diabetic I find this policy lacking in foresight ...I've written to them and got a reply to say that they have no plans to introduce sweetener either .. With so many different allergies and other issues that are being dealt with this has to be one of the easiest to deal with ...sadly not Supermacs I gave 3 stars out of 5 ...I'd have given 5 except they refused my request

12/06/2026: This is one of the good Supermac's locations with nice people! The staff are actually helpful and have great manners. It is a wonderful, clean spot where people can enjoy quick, delicious meals with excellent service!

06/07/2026: Why is vaping allowed in the bar? Most times when I visit there is a man sitting at the bar vaping in front of the bar staff. It should be banned like in most other pubs. I tried to ring the pub to ask but gave up at the phone is never answered.

21/06/2026: Had 2 rounds and cost about €7 per person i would sit inside though the outside chairs arnt verry comfortable

30/07/2026: One of the best restaurants my family and I have ever been to! We are from the United States and we went here for lunch. Margaret was our server and she was absolutely delightful. we had some bites, and dessert and everything was excellent. The restaurant is a cultural space full of art and history. I am totally going back to this spot before I go back home to the States, but this is a space I will never forget!

26/07/2026: 12.50 for a glass of house wine. I said to the bar man 12.50? And he responded " do you think that's expensive" and laughed. Nice outdoor area but for that price you might as well be in temple bar

07/07/2026: Had the worst experience this morning with a rude staff member. Used to come here with my family, do not feel like coming back. Unreal. My child had a summer activity to attend this morning, I had to go to work and I intended to pay for my child 's breakfast and run to work. The staff member didn't let me speak, her body language was "commanding", "you do what I say!", she was busy, but not busy enough to find time to come back and in that commanding tone of voice and unpleasant face expression to tell us to sit at a different table .... apparently we were taking too much room in the place - the two of us were sitting at a table were were 3 sits....Staff is the key.....

23/05/2026: Nice spot for a bite to eat as we traveled around Ireland. The burger was fantastic and fish and chips were okay. Fries were bland.

13/08/2025: Didn’t eat here, but wouldn’t go back for drinks. Bartenders were not friendly at all and refused to make mixed drinks for Americans, but then made them for their friends who ordered right after. One acted as if he didn’t know what Tito’s vodka was. They had great live music and a lively crowd, but a very unwelcoming bunch. Americans should skip this spot and spend their money elsewhere. One of the few pubs the group had anything negative to say about.
