31/10/2024: We only tried the restaurant because we were passing through at lunch time. We tried the homemade lasagna and the homemade burger. Everything was very good including the apple crumble 🎉.

20/10/2024: We had the early bird set menu ! It didn't disappoint.. 3 Courses for €26ea I have eaten here before Christmas last and can't fault it. There was a great buzz about the place and the service was equally great. The restaurant is situated in the basement, The decor is sharp with comfy seating and nice table settings. My only quibble was that we were seated next to the front exterior wall and there was a cold draught running down behind me. I know that the weather was near freezing outside but it was uncomfortable for me ! Otherwise it was fantastic as always .. 4th time to eat there...

27/09/2024: "You advertised an all-evening early bird menu on your website. But when we went to order the 2 courses, we were told that no longer applied. I found this totally unacceptable, as it is false advertising. We were told it had been changed to just from 18.00 to 19.00. Our booking was for 19.30. We would have come earlier if this had not been displayed on your website. And under the circumstances, I feel you should have honoured the 2 courses for 29.95 . The squid was pretty tasteless. Would have preferred less. Huge quantity. Would have been nicer to have a smaller portion, but with a nice light batter and some flavour. The Halibut was floating in oil. This was what my 80 year old mother ordered. She could not eat it. And we assumed it would be taken off the bill. It wasnt. But when I said I felt it was wrong to charge for something that was not eten, this was rectified. But really felt this should have been done, without me having to point it out. We had ordered a bottle of Malbec. I was halfway through my starter before we got it, and had asked twice where it was. The excuse was, they could not find it!!! Overall, a really disappointing night. Staff were friendly girls. But with little or no experience. So many much nicer place s in Malahide. We used to be regular patrons of Bon Apetpetit when Patsy Mc Guirk had it. And it was always spot on. NOt any more.

01/10/2024: Foodies Korner is a lovely Deli Cafe situated on the main Street it has a wide range of good value food and drinks on its menu the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming..

21/10/2024: Wouldnt normally leave a bad review but the front of house guy was rude and stuck up. Food was lovely but instant regrets of not just walking out before we sat down. Very unwelcoming, lovely building and amazing decor. But very sour after loud smart remarks about us not having a reservation to other guests, food took a long time to arrive ...and this is after we where told we could only stay for a short time!....we felt rushed to leave to give the table back. Still plently of space as we left, very strange and not a nice experience

20/10/2024: We love Ballycotton and absolutely love it. Lots of changes happen each year. However, it's a diamond. The Bayview is literally hanging on the cliff & so important to support our hospitality industry. Local hotels are so important & Suzanne Front of House should be cloned,she's brilliant. Genuine welcome & engaging. Evening dining was delicious. Loses one star as the Irish breakfast was below par..

09/09/2024: Not suitable for a family with young kids.. we booked a family room and got a double room and the response at reception left alot to be desired.. oops and we might sort it tomoro.. avoid if bringing kids

02/11/2024: €18 for a "large" pizza that actually looks like a small one. Lack of toppings, burnt Toilets are dirty Service is poor Not great overall.

10/09/2024: Food was good but the service....waitress was throwing them plates on our table as if they were Frisbees! Very rude and slow aswell. Next time the pizza will be for take away.

06/10/2024: All staff were very friendly, everything delivered with a smile! The food was fantastic, I got the full Irish and the sausage and hash brown were especially nice. Coffee was delicious as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a breakfast in Clondalkin!

15/10/2024: Ordered food for 20 people on Sunday for my Mam’s birthday party. The food was amazing. Everything was perfect.

07/11/2024: Went for lunch last week. Arrived at 1.30 pm and has several rushed morsels ny 2pm. Like a relay system. Food was tasty but was finicky and fussy. We ordered 2 glasses of ‘house’ champagne, and waited almost 15 minutes before we were served, and then when the bill arrived, we nearly collapsed when we were charged €34 per glass, of mediocre champagne. Unbelievable. The cheese plate was a joke, 3 small pieces of cheese, and a few basis rivita type cardboard crackers. Overall it was a bit of a mess, nobody really in charge and we were done and dusted in an hour. €244 for 2 people… sorry guys but complacency is inexcusable.

30/10/2024: The food was lovely the overall experience was extremely disappointing the service was like a conveyor belt we had been to the restaurant 3 years ago and it was superb not so this time- shame

12/10/2024: A gem of a cafe … friendly and professional staff. When I saw them down on their knees cleaning the table stands, I felt safe in the knowledge my rhubarb & strawberry tart was going to be good. (Oops! I had eaten half of it before taking the photo!) And It Was!! It was my first time in Knock for over 30 years, this cafe, and many of the other improvements are wonderful! Well Done Everyone at Le Cheile!!

08/09/2024: The café is right next to the museum with a view of the basilica. We were there at lunchtime and were served very friendly.

31/10/2024: This very great location townhouse allowed us to enter the centre of the Kinsale Community so easily…the breakfast was served in a very comfortable setting and the food was very good and a nice wide variety was available…my room was very comfortable…the staff were full of great information and proved quite helpful with requested information..

23/10/2024: Our stay was great and the building was old and but beautiful. The beds weren’t very comfortable and there was only a couple of plug ins. If you’re going for a piece history then this is your place, if you’re going for comfort then this isn’t.

28/08/2024: Lovely café with very friendly staff which we visited several times in the first half of August. Our large family party included three coeliacs and five vegans (one of the coeliacs is vegan too!) so we were a bit more complicated than many others. However the menu was able to accommodate all our needs and the staff were incredibly helpful and most importantly very careful with our order. We were so impressed with their care and good humour at the end of what must feel like a very long summer season.

09/11/2024: Had dinner with friends, Food was excellent Service was great Ambiance of the hotel was supper, with winter open fires burning brightly . Definitely A place I'll go back to and recommend to others.
