Relish
Drogheda
09/02/2026: If you are thinking to go in weekend I strongly recommend to make reservation
10/12/2025: Just had THE best festive toastie I've ever had.. I'm not hyping it up for no reason and usually toastie are just fine but this one. Turkey, ham, stuffing, cranberries, cheese with gravy dip on the side, along with small sprouts cooked perfectly and chips.
The balance of flavours and the quality of the food was out of this world hence why I'm leaving the review. Totally deserves to be shouted about.
Grey service too I might add. 👏👏

15/11/2025: A delightful taste of Navan!
Attentive and friendly staff went the extra mile!

The Silver Eel
10/10/2025: Beautiful setting right on the lake. We'll worth a visit.
27/08/2025: Been here a few times over the years, it's a hit and miss, sometimes it's lovely and friendly staff and good food and sometimes staff haven't got the time for you and the food is OK.

Gibneys
Gormanston
15/02/2026: What a wonderful place! It's very atmospheric. A wonderful display of antiques. The room is decorated in a vintage style: no plastic, just metal and wood! The food prices are more than reasonable. The meat dishes were excellent! The only issue was the fish was a little watery, but that's a minor detail. Five stars, definitely!
07/01/2026: Lovely staff and lovely food. Would definitely go again

02/09/2025: Had a pint in here and there was a group of men and women playing instruments sitting in the corner. Excellent atmosphere.

Clock Tavern
Westport
01/12/2025: Great pub. Guiness 0.0 and great trad players.
13/08/2025: Didn’t eat here, but wouldn’t go back for drinks. Bartenders were not friendly at all and refused to make mixed drinks for Americans, but then made them for their friends who ordered right after. One acted as if he didn’t know what Tito’s vodka was. They had great live music and a lively crowd, but a very unwelcoming bunch. Americans should skip this spot and spend their money elsewhere. One of the few pubs the group had anything negative to say about.

Dintys
Unionhall
13/01/2026: Very traditional. Wonderful hospitality. Great food. I will return every time I'm nearby. 🙂🙂
04/01/2026: We got dinner here because they were the only place in town serving food. The seafood platter was unfortunately a miss. Our waiter was nice but the bartender seemed to actively avoid us. Next time we'd drive to a different town for dinner.

Lord Mayor's Lounge
Dublin
02/01/2026: Holiday tea is a must if you are in town! The service was great and very accommodating for restrictions. My husband tried several different teas. Sandwiches and pastries were good!
10/11/2025: Its not one of the highest rated afternoon teas in Dublin for no reason! Can't fault anything. Usually theres something on one of the tears I dont enjoy at an afternoon tea, but this was the first time i enjoyed everything! Tea/coffee selection was really good, though I have seen larger menus. I highly recommend

Cinnamon
Dublin
06/01/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed permanently. It will be sadly missed by regular happy customers. See my review below: The best breakfast / lunch restaurant in Monkstown bar none. Everything on the menu is delicious it’s so hard to choose. Super service too! I’m a regular and always will be. Highly recommend an early G&T.
06/12/2025: 3 stars max because the place is cosy and the coffee is good, but I wouldn’t return there for the brunch menu…branch menu is just average and not a good value for money.

Riverside Cafe
Skibbereen
11/09/2025: A nice cafe, the menu looked good and the food was tasty. Sadly, the portions we had for lunch were really very small and we both left still feeling hungry. It was expensive and just didn’t feel like value for money, due to portion size.
08/08/2025: Vegan options available: we had a delicious toastie and sweet potato patty

Yellow Pepper Restaurant
Mountcharles
08/08/2025: While on our honeymoon in Ireland, Ireland by Bike suggested we dine at Yellow Pepper. So glad we did, the atmosphere is so cozy, the food was amazing. We had the opportunity to meet the owner Kieran who is a gem!
Chris and Kerrilee
05/08/2025: Visited Letteykenny in Ireland for a short break, had seen reviews. Definitely have to book so popular.
Lovely options to choose from. Decided to go straight to the main, I had the lamb shank special of the day, The lamb just fell off the bone, buttery mash with good selection of vegetables, some as purée,and a tasteful jus to bring it all together. My husband had the cod with fish pie, a beautiful chunky piece, definitely a hot pie with creamy mash. Both our plates were completely cleaned.
I had the meringue with fresh fruit and compote, meringue crispy and chewy just the way it should be.
A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and polite.
Very good value as well.
Would definitely recommend The Yellow.Pepper
