11/05/2025: The staff were great, very friendly, and the food was delicious - we had their smaller version of the full Irish breakfast, and some coffee. Very cozy interior, loved seeing some of the historical decor.
19/04/2025: If you have money to throw away go to clancys for breakfast 2 full irish 2 kids portions and 2 very small glasses of orange the toast didn't arrive till breakfast was almost finished and as far as a friendly atmosphere is concerned forget it total cost = 65 euro I won't be going again.

14/05/2025: We didn't stay at the hotel, but went to the restaurant. Everyone was very pleasant. Out of everywhere we've been on this trip, this was the only place to have a traditional menu. The chowder was smashing spot on. The appetizer was delicious and the beef and kidney pie, spot on. The staff was so gracious and kind.

03/05/2025: the most disgusting pub, where bullying and Discrimination flourish, security is just a disgrace. I have been to many pubs in Ireland, Ireland is famous. but I have never seen such an attitude towards tourists anywhere. I do not advise any tourist to relax in this pub, the service is 0, I will tell all my friends that this is the worst pub in this city. If you are of another nationality, you are not allowed to enter.🤮

The Long Dock
18/05/2025: I spotted this place on a drive years ago when I lived in Kerry, but it was winter and they were closed. Fast forward to today, home from Australia and all I can say is, Long Dock you were worth the wait! Sheena was an absolute delight, and a must have employee! The food was amazing. I am home (in Kerry) for three weeks and I'm trying to work out how many more visits I can pack in before I leave. Carrigaholt, you have a gem right here!
15/05/2025: We stopped here spontaneously while driving by. We had a wonderful spot in the evening sun with a perfectly poured Guinness and delicious Stonewell cider (from the bottle).
As a small snack, we had a seafood chowder. Absolutely delicious!
The pub looks very quaint and cozy inside!
The service is fast and very friendly!
Highly recommended!

11/05/2025: Had a very tasty lunch, l had chicken Caesar salad & my partner had ploughman’s ciabatta both were excellent, we thought very reasonable too.
Place was packed, lovely atmosphere and staff were very pleasant..
We would definitely revisit.
11/05/2025: Very nice...sat outside and had a great club sandwich and some very good Sauvignon Blanc. Nice service too.

(€14), taste was grand, but presentation was brutal, four palm-sized pancakes arrived with one 15g Nutella sachet (you read that right - I had to DIY the "Nutella" part of Nutella pancakes!), two strawberries (halved) for €14? That's taking the mickey.
And also I ordered a “Smoked Salmon Bagel”, stale as a rock - zero flavour, plain salmon, my homemade bread has more life, and that's saying something.

08/04/2025: We just walked in, didn't realise it was such a busy place but staff were excellent in catering for 4 of us. No real waiting for either menus or food which was absolutely delicious. Staff were so friendly and polite, wonderful selection of foods available. I'd gladly return again but I would ring ahead first.

02/05/2025: We moved to cork about 4 months ago and tried a few of the chippers in the area, fellas was by far our favourite and the staff are so friendly. You can also tell who the owner is and how much he cares about the place from the first visit which is brilliant! The curry sauce is amazing and I’m very picky about my curry 😂 and the peri chicken and burgers are so tasty too! Definitely our go to
