19/11/2025: We've never written a bad review before, but my friends and I have decided we should after this afternoon. We will say the food is nice, but it's not even close to making up for the extremely poor service we have received alongside it. We have been back many times, as it is close by, but today was our last. Grown adults tried to bully us into paying for food we had not ordered and were extremely unprofessional when dealing with their own mistake (this has happened more than once and to others we know). They had also charged our friend for a dip (which is fine), but this was after they had forgotten to put her order through to the kitchen. When they finally brought her food out, they had already cleared the rest of our plates, again with little to no apology. You would assume that maybe, at the very least, ketchup could be free:/ We can appreciate that someone could be having a bad day, but it seems that the service staff here are consistently having these days, and it's reflected in how they treat customers, especially students.

14/09/2025: Amazing hotel, truly a gem within the area of Killarney, perfect location for those wanting to have class, optimal routes for ring of Kerry and truly the best roast I’ve ever had outside of country Australia. The Guinness is perfect for the critic, complimented by tremendous service that puts a lot of “Major” hotel and restaurants to shame. 11/10 would recommend.

14/09/2025: We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. It is in a great location within Killarney, and the room was nice. The parking here is limited and tight. We decided just to park in a nearby lot since we were taking trips around the area. I would stay here again.

18/10/2025: I could get no room in the shearwater hotel, they recommend pillar house bar to me, I just wanted a bed to sleep in, nothing fancy. It's in the town , and a few steps down from the pub itself. Absolutely did the job for me, the bed is massive and ensuite small but it's only me. 50 euro for the night no breakfast, that's grand And no hurry up in the morning.

28/10/2025: My husband and I had the best culinary experience in all of Ireland here. And I truly mean it was a wonderful experience, not just a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, the service was at a relaxed pace, and each course was beautifully curated (both flavours and presentation). The dining space was cozy but spacious too, so it felt intimate. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

02/08/2025: Five of us had breakfast here today. The food was lovely plus the staff were lovely and friendly. We had a dog with us and they gave him water and were very helpful. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Well done.

19/07/2025: Had a great evening meal there with my mother who had been given a voucher. All three courses were generous servings of perfectly cooked quality ingredients. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

03/09/2025: Perfect spot to avoid the tourist traps and get a truly decent cup of coffee, decent breakfast food and delicious pastry. Warm and welcoming service - thoroughly recommend this little retreat of a cafe!

19/08/2025: I happened across this café on a hungry morning exiting the shopping mall. The tables outside were full, so I sat indoors. Food was DE LISH OUS. I had a warm cajun chicken wrap with side salad, a custard tart, a coffee, and a glass of water. Total cost €13.70. Staff were busy but very helpful and attentive. There was a nice buzz and mainly older, local clientèle. The walls were decorated with an interesting assortment of paintings by presumably local artists. Highly recommend, would visit again.

10/09/2025: We stayed at Rosleague Manor for 2 nights recently. This is a stunning hotel. Everything was perfect. Lovely spotless spacious bedroom

04/08/2025: We stayed for a night in a family room and we really enjoyed our visit. The room was very big with a king size bed, two singles and loads of space for kids to play etc. breakfast was very nice. We spent a lovely Sunday morning playing with Johnno the dog on the lawn out the front of the hotel.

09/07/2025: Lyons cafe ......as good it gets, tasty, reliable, reasonably priced. Great staff, great buzz highly recommended! We especially enjoyed the chicken, leek and bacon pie followed by the pear and almond dessert, simply sublime!

21/06/2025: This place does not disappoint. We've been here a couple of times the food has been 10/10 with each dish ordered; from soup to salad, dish of the day to vegetarian option. The only problem with visiting Sligo is there are so many tasty eateries to choose from. But do try to check this place out.

24/11/2025: Stopped in for breakfast and it was absolutely excellent. The food was fresh, well-presented, and really good quality, easily one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The dining area was comfortable and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. A special shout-out to Radi, who was genuinely exceptional. Her service was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made the whole experience stand out. Highly recommend dropping in here for breakfast and say hi to Radi!

17/09/2025: The location was amazing! Right in the middle of Oia which is perfect. The service was amazing. Kostas ( the owner) went above and beyond. He helped us with what to do, he booked us reservations, cab services and much more. He was there whenever you needed him. The rooms were good too!
