20/03/2026: Dropped in for a drink in a Friday afternoon, very friendly, great service. Dog friendly in the bar when we visited! Food menu looks nice also.

18/03/2026: Following a 15 minute wait for a waiter or waitress to even look at us, the waitress serving us made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. She was aggressive and rude when we pointed out a mistake she had made with our order, insisting we were wrong. When she finally checked with the bar, she then confirmed it was indeed her mistake, after making a scene in front of other diners. An expensive lunch which was ruined, avoid!

01/03/2026: Nice Atmosphere. But waiters dont ever look your face even the place is not busy. Souses are too salty and sweet. We couldnt finish our meal. I didnt was to waste them so I pack them take away for seaguls etc. bread was dry and hot dog was undercooked. I very frustrated. Dont think gonna be here again.

25/02/2026: Nice food but service is always the same. You come in and are waiting ages for your order to be taken. They don’t even check if you like the meal or need anything else…

13/08/2025: Didn’t eat here, but wouldn’t go back for drinks. Bartenders were not friendly at all and refused to make mixed drinks for Americans, but then made them for their friends who ordered right after. One acted as if he didn’t know what Tito’s vodka was. They had great live music and a lively crowd, but a very unwelcoming bunch. Americans should skip this spot and spend their money elsewhere. One of the few pubs the group had anything negative to say about.

02/03/2026: We had the best time in cresslough and enjoyed all our lovely meals at Roses bar for the two nights we were there. Above all we had great service from one of the staff ( Andrew)he was so friendly and helpful especially when we couldn't decide what to have he gave a few suggestions.. I would totally drive back to enjoy the food. It was more than 10/10 for us👌. Thank you

09/01/2026: We stopped into Roses for some food when passing and visitors to the area, we arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant area was open so we allowed we would get a drink in the bar while we waited. The staff brought down menus to us and took our order really quickly, which was appreciated. Food came really quickly, very tasty and real good portions. Cosy bar and restaurant. Would definitely return if back in the area. Highly recommend.

02/01/2026: Had day 2 of our wedding here in Molly Js on December 31st. Fantastic venue with loads of space and great staff, Ethan is really professional and friendly and made it all run extremely smoothly. Food was some of nicest finger foodbive ever had and we were accommodated in all requests. All of our guests that stayed here said it was a great hotel also. Would really recommend here.

15/03/2026: My name is brendan Hughes and I had a table booked-confirmed and paid for on Thursday 12 March. When I arrived on Sat 14 to fulfill my appointment the staff were unable to find it but eventually the lady behind the counter must have found some reference to it and told us Table2. We were shown to a table beside a fire. There were two of us and the table was the size of a Singer sowing machine. We are not small people could not possibly eat while seated side by side. So I asked the lady could she possibly seat us at a larger table and she refused. When I tried to reason with the lady she accused me of raising my voice. So not only were we treated with utter contempt we got no meal because we could not eat in such a crowded situation..having driven from Dublin was not great. This lady had no manners or respect for customers. I would not recommend this place unless you want to be insulted. Her attitude was do it her way or leave----so we left. Faulty Towers comes to mind for the bad manners.

13/03/2026: Rather hidden, but food worth the search. Good menu based on fresh local ingredients especially fish, presentation simple yet nicely innovative. Good wine list. Service rapid and friendly.

04/09/2025: Visited The Pikeman Bar at The Grand Hotel in Tralee during our road trip in Ireland, based on the recommandation in ‘Rough guide’. The bar area and atmosphere was brilliant. I had the seafood platter salad and I was blown away by the freshness and quality of the food. My partner had the rib of beef which was excellent as well. We were so pleased with the food that we returned the next day for breakfast and the full Irish breakfast was fantastic. Amazing value for the price we paid on both occasions. Highly recommend.

09/03/2026: Best restaurant in Galway, in fact best restaurant in Ireland hands down. Has been consistently brilliant since it opened thanks to Conor the owner. Atmosphere is buzzy and great people watching. I would highly recommend.

03/03/2026: Disgusted. Was hoping for dessert and wine at 10pm to finish the evening. Were rudely seated and then completely ignored for a good while despite trying to catch the waitrons attention. The restaurant was empty and 3 waitrons just chatting Really unacctable given the amazing options around the corner. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we stumbled accross Augustin next door. Amazing!!

28/11/2025: Had the best time. Shoutout to Mia and her father. The Otter Bar was a highlight of my trip while traveling Ireland. We originally stopped in for a bite to eat but ended up getting take out delivered to the bar from another village. “The people of Inistioge are hungry!” I’ll cherish the memories. Spice bags and Sláinte!

18/07/2025: A lovely country pub will definitely return they facilitated delivery of food for us for which we were grateful no other food options available

28/08/2025: Seafood chowder is delicious. Fish and chips excellent. We ate here several times and loved everything we tried.

02/08/2025: We were here quite early on a Friday evening. Folk still leaving work ahead of a bank holiday weekend. There were only a few customers in at the time. A lot of reserved tables for later. The furnishings are mainly wooden chairs set around square tables, not very inviting when the pub is quiet. The food was spot on. Good choice, reasonable prices for the area and very nice. Four of us had different meals, we were impressed by taste, portion size and service. Beer and cider choice is better than some.

04/02/2026: Friendly staff member on the phone, Delivery arrived within 25 minutes. Food was hot and delicious.

26/01/2026: I did visit this supermacs at the weekend I received Great customer service, I got my food in efficient timing, will definitely be returning
