18/06/2025: The staff here are possibly the most unwelcoming I’ve ever come across. Came here today and was met by a blonde older lady that showed us multiple times she did not want to serve us or possibly even be there. Everything we asked for, which wasn’t a lot, seemed like we were bothering her and that she was going out of her way to get it. I pointed out that we were missing ice cream and she rudely replied with ‘I’ll see if I have it or not’ and walked off, no ‘oh sorry about that’. The food was lovely but won’t be returning because of this woman.

14/06/2025: Amazing selection differentiated by gluten vegan and some really fantastic options . Very nice stuff, buzzing atmosphere. We normally have something to eat, then take some bits and pieces away with us and head back home

14/07/2025: I had relatives visiting from overseas so decided to bring them to somewhere local with a good reputation..it didn't go well. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken, another 30 before the food arrived..order was taken by an extremely rude waitress..when I went to pay at the till I received a 'What do you want?' question from the lady at the till (most places would ask 'can I help you?!'). I had to apologise to my relatives afterwards, it was extremely embarrassing to be treated like this. Food was also very poor, french toast was one large slab of burned toast and the bacon was completely overdone. Very poor overall.

The service was friendly and relaxed, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The cozy, rustic vibe makes it a great spot to enjoy a slow, easy meal with good company or some quiet time.

26/05/2025: Stopped in for lunch on our way to limerick, had the beef stew and it was lovely. The hostess was very friendly. Simple and delicious.

18/02/2025: Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante. Mi pareja y yo habíamos reservado para una cena un sábado. Tuvimos un mal presentimiento cuando entramos y vimos cuántas mesas vacías había, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que era un fin de semana de rugby. Mientras que nuestro servidor brasileño era encantador, la comida era sosa y carecía de sabor y condimento. Dejamos la mayoría de nuestras comidas en el plato. El encantador servidor preguntó si todo estaba bien con la comida. Expresé que estaba muy decepcionado, considerando las excelentes críticas que habíamos leído en línea. El servidor nos informó que el chef envió sus disculpas desde la cocina. Nos persuadieron a quedarnos y tomar cafés y postre. El precio de los cafés se descontó de la factura. 13/06/2025: Under new management. Not the same. Wouldn't go again. Friend had a ham sandwich which was served with scraps of crisps. I had baked potato with coleslaw. Horrible

08/06/2025: Full Irish was 10/10. Fresh ingredients tasted so good along with very very nice and accommodating staff. Nicest breakfast I’ve had in months easily!

24/06/2025: Food is always lovely with big portions, if it’s breakfast lunch or dinner you get a fulfilling meal, right beside the ocean also if you get a takeaway you have lovely views

10/06/2025: Nice vegetarian lunch; I had a baked potato with salad and coleslaw on the side, husband had a cheese toastie and chips. A trip to Peppers isn’t complete without ice cream (Kinder Bueno for me and Biscoff for him). Good food and service.

23/07/2025: Had fabulous meal excellent menu choice and all our group was impressed, paired with excellent service - will be back. No additional costs for sides and great wine list.

21/07/2025: Great place, I had the fish platter of the day (seafood trio) and it was excellent!! The cheese and charcuterie platter is large and very good. We loved our evening. The drinks are good. Almost no tables available for walk-ins, so reserved
