13/08/2024: We recently had a family get together & ordered various hot & cold food : sweet & savoury, including vegetarian options.
It was excellent value, generous portions & freshly cooked for collection. Delighted with the service & highly recommend.
03/06/2024: We cycled the royal canal from Clondara(Clondra as per the locals) to Keenagh and found Macks shack. The staff were very friendly, the food was really nice , the place was very clean and it was very reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

09/09/2024: Now here is a pub full of the Irish Craic. Fantastic bar staff full of laughing and joking. You are definitely made to feel welcome.
The food well bring your appetite as it’s good wholesome and plentiful.
So if you’re in near or just passing by make time for this place you will not be disappointed.
03/08/2024: Unassuming place, lovely relaxed vibe, and most of all utterly friendly people open for a chat. Plates were more than enough *burps* 😉

24/08/2024: Horrible experience today. After 15 mins of sitting down the finally decide to take our order. Drinks took 20 minutes to come and then the food another hour and a half. Absolutely no control on the wasps and I had to leave my food half way due to the infestation of them. Won’t be coming back.

08/09/2024: Walsh's is a super pub, great staff, great food, great service, great atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. Its a hidden gem ans is well worth a visit.

30/09/2024: The staff were the best part of our evening, Rosie in particular was extremely friendly and efficient but the kitchen let the floor staff down in that my Steak was
cooked medium well not medium rare as requested, to be fair it was replaced and served as requested
They did deduct a reasonable amount off the bill which I appreciated .
Hopefully if we visit again it will be better
15/09/2024: Most underrated restaurant in the area, brilliant atmosphere and even better food. Worth the visit, and would recommend above all restaurants in the village.

23/09/2024: Small, somewhat hidden restaurant. In the front part you can buy cakes (also to take away), in the back there are tables (most for 2 people). The employees were very friendly and the drinks/food came very quickly.
We had the vegan falafel wrap (thanks for vegan options!). We also had the Dirty Fries absolute recommendation! They were incredibly tasty. Both corresponded to the usual prices at €12 each.
We recommend the restaurant! :)

25/08/2024: We arrived and asked a staff member for a table. She straight away said 'no' when we asked if we could wait she again said 'no'. I asked "so you're telling me that we should just leave?". She shrugged her shoulders and walked away as a man kindly overheard the conversation and let us join his table. The waitress was then annoyed we had sat down and was beyond unprofessional.
The food was fine, nothing to write home about. The saving grace for his place is the view. Management could do with training staff on the bare minimum of customer service
24/08/2024: Sat on the patio, looked at the sea, craft beer and one of the best burgers I've had had in a while.

21/10/2024: Wir sind spontan hier gelandet und waren begeistert. Tolle Küche und top Service. Die Gerichte sind einfallsreich serviert und geschmacklich wirklich herausragend. Es gibt auch leckere Veggie Gerichte, was manchmal schwer zu finden ist.
01/10/2024: Delicious dinner and warm welcome despite the late hour.
The dishes are a treat after a long day.

19/11/2024: Fabulous 2 days - lovely comfortable lodging- superb fresh breakfast. The dinner was wonderful and delicious- very fresh ingredients all round and lovely presentation, highly recommend the oysters, wild game terrine and the mixed seafood grill. The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and full of wonderful art to enjoy. Thank you Tannery- we will be back!
