29/12/2025: Disgusting! I ordered 3 burgers and an order of chips and I can honestly put my hand on my heart to say it's the worst thing I've ever ordered from a fast food place. The food was ordered to deliver, it came stone cold, the small chips for 3.25 was something you'd see in a kids meal, the 3 burgers were stone cold and absolutely doused in sauce and a huge amount of onions, even though I asked for 1 plain. The entire order went in the bin and I decided to cook instead, what a waste a money. I lived in Galway for years and was always an advocate of Supermacs but I won't bother again. I know this wont get to Pat McDonagh but if there is a team that monitors the quality then they need to start doing spot checks on their restaurants because this was way below the standard I'd expsct from Supermacs.

03/11/2025: The girl who took the order was very polite, attentive, tactful, and patient. The order was processed quickly, but it felt like it was being done by an apprentice. It was disappointing. We won't be ordering anything from here next time we're in Athlone.

18/12/2025: First time here, not sure I would be back even though the food was tasty. I called ahead to order, asking if they take card payments, I was told no and that I could take money out in Centra at the ATM if needed. Order was a little slow but when it came to pay, I handed in the cash, 30 euros. I never heard so much complaining because I didn't have the exact change. Talking under his breath and making a big deal. If you don't take card payments and it's cash only, you should be able to give me back 6 euros without hassle and making me feel bad acting like I handed you a 100euro note.

17/10/2025: What a little gem of a takeaway, their food is fantastic. They cook everything fresh and their Indian food is just so fresh, plentiful and tasty. Their chips are also top notch!!! 👏 Up there with the best 👊😋

09/07/2025: Lyons cafe ......as good it gets, tasty, reliable, reasonably priced. Great staff, great buzz highly recommended! We especially enjoyed the chicken, leek and bacon pie followed by the pear and almond dessert, simply sublime!

21/06/2025: This place does not disappoint. We've been here a couple of times the food has been 10/10 with each dish ordered; from soup to salad, dish of the day to vegetarian option. The only problem with visiting Sligo is there are so many tasty eateries to choose from. But do try to check this place out.

12/11/2025: I was there today to get a takeaway. The order was 2 small milkshakes, 2 cod portions, a small chip and a large chain. The charge was €32.40 He took €35 from me and I asked for a receipt which he gave me but without any change. Way too costly for a takeaway

20/07/2025: Hi, Sitting here writing this review, we ordered breakfast. Arrived cold, they reheated the plate. Beans were burnt and pale, poached eggs were too runny, not cooked correctly to eat. This is the first review I've done, normally we let it slide if we get bad food. But this was so bad. The Service was great, waitress so apologetic, not her fault.

19/07/2025: we’ve gone here before and really loved the food. We haven’t been in about 6 months and the entire menu has changed and is way smaller now. The food is expensive for what you get, they forgot one of our sandwiches and it was rushed out to the table. The cheese wasn’t melted on any of the food, we ordered garlic cheese chips and most of the cheese was at the bottom with very little sauce. My partner found something hard in their beef toastie which seemed to be a part of a bone. Staff were very good despite everything. Food was disappointing for the price that you pay and it’s a massive downgrade from what it was.

25/12/2025: One of the best pubs in Ireland. Cozy atmosphere and great pints. Never a let down from Kieran. If your in between the two spots in Kinnitty this is definetly the more comfortable option

07/10/2025: I LOVED this place! Kieran was a gem and his pup Seany~ (hopefully spelled correctly). The locals were a treasure as well. I enjoyed the Jameson along with the chatter. Thank You, Kieran.

13/12/2025: Bar man ( who we were informed was the manager ) told us this wasn’t the place for us. Our first and last visit to this bar. Staff appeared to be aware of his mannerisms and apologised. AVOID!

25/10/2025: Staff are lovely. However food was disappointing, veggie sandwich which had a laughable amount inside, considering the high price, told staff and sandwich returned still ridiculous small amount of filling. The wait for the food took ages before this even occured so I just ate it when it came back out, unsatisfied after meal. No side salad or anything with small sandwich.

04/01/2026: We got dinner here because they were the only place in town serving food. The seafood platter was unfortunately a miss. Our waiter was nice but the bartender seemed to actively avoid us. Next time we'd drive to a different town for dinner.
