25/05/2025: Stayed here for one night while visiting Ennis and County Clare on a larger trip across the country. The room was very spacious and had a great view of the adjacent golf course. The continental breakfast was also amazing! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return when visiting Ennis.

23/05/2025: Hadn't booked but was passing by last Sunday and dropped in for bar food. The menu was delightful - lots of choices - coeliac friendly. I had the fish & chips - was so tasty! Husband said the steak was one of the best he's had! Will look forward to returning soon.

21/05/2025: Ate in the restaurant last Saturday. Hadn't been since last Summer. Ate from the A la Carte Menu - great choices, fabulous food & presented beautifully. Service was great. Won't leave it as long until we return.

11/11/2024: The live music was incredibly good: I've paid for worse concerts and this one was free and with great musicians and singers. The waiter's attention was perfect. I didn't eat there, just a beer and a couple of soft drinks... But everything looked good, apparently you should eat well.

28/05/2025: Stepping into "The Rusty Mug" is like entering a time machine, but not in a good way. The interior is a bit worse for wear, with a musty smell that clings to your clothes. The furniture looks like it was salvaged from a skip, and the overall vibe is more "dingy" than "charming." The owner, well, he's a character. Let's just say he has a short fuse and a penchant for confrontation. Any minor complaint or deviation from his rules is met with a verbal onslaught. It's not the kind of place where you feel comfortable relaxing and enjoying a pint. The drinks are cheap, and the bar snacks are what you'd expect. However, the owner's aggressive behavior completely overshadows anything positive. Unless you enjoy being yelled at while you try to enjoy your evening, steer clear of this one.

26/03/2025: Around 25 years ago my friends called me Gino... So, I had to try this restaurant🙂 I came in and I was truly surprised... The place is WOW - nice and clean, pleasant, spacious and tempting to try something new. Varied menu with a good few pearls in it - e.g. fried chicken with secret crumbs on it! and mixed kebab tray - just made my evening. Staff behind the counter ware extremely welcome, happy and willing to help with my order. It is next level of sit-in or takeaway. Thank you Gino's Diner. Great job👍🏼

23/02/2025: Whilst doing some shopping in penny's we decided to try this place out. We are a family of 4. One of the best carvery around, I opted for pavaolva for desert and by God it went down a treat. The staff are so polite and welcoming also. Will defo be back

21/02/2025: Had breakfast here and food was nice and staff was lovley. Good portion size and priced very well. Easy to miss as it is in the back of the marshes where no one really goes. Go past the food court and past the barbers and you come across this gem. Seen they even have beer taps and wine menu if your having lunch and a cheeky jar. Would come back again.

12/05/2025: Short ride from the ferry at Rosslare. Welcome and service was great. Food good. Place was a little care worn with lamps out in the dining area and our room had a live electrical box with its cover removed and loosely positioned in front so if you were so inclined you could give yourself a new hairstyle if you decided to poke around inside. The wiring beneath with exposed rear to patress boxes was also a concern. Despite the obvious electrical safety items we had a good stay here

09/05/2025: We were competing in a Bowls Competition in Mullinvat and stopped off to eat. Lovely servers to accommodate us as a group, Food was excellent Lovely Atmosphere and plenty of space.

18/05/2025: Nice little spot for a Supermac’s. Staff were excellent. Service was quick. Food was delicious. Only thing I would say was need more napkins. Wasn’t given any and with 3 messy kids you need a lot.

23/04/2025: We had lunch here on Easter Sunday. The food was really nice. Four of us had lunch different dishes, roast beef, pasta, and curry, all of which were really good. The staff were very attentive & nice We will definitely go again
