22/01/2026: I probably should have gone back in to query the price but my €7.99 Panini and the three items pictured came to €21.23,so my bag of crisps, lemon soda and carton of water came to €13.24. Hopefully a mistake and not the usual rip off we are so good at in this country. Panini was spot on though. Rest of the fare looks good.

23/11/2025: Lovely restaurant and bar area but really bad food. Completely empty on what should be a busy Sunday afternoon. Tasteless desserts, fatty beef roast. A pity as venue looks great and staff lovely. Fitzpatricks is patchy to say the least - from some angles hotel looks incredible, from others it is semi-derelict, covered in moss and damp.

28/03/2026: A great bar and restaurant. Our family just spent a couple of evenings in The Townhouse and we were so well looked after. Really lovely food and reasonably priced. We will be back again!

19/04/2026: First off they took 10 minutes before even taking our order then it took them 30 minutes for them to cook it and then the food tasted ok then they served our starter and main at the exact same time there was no butter for the bread and no spoon for the soup and the water was warm might’ve just been a bad day for them and no paper towels in the toilet and the dustbin was overflowing with dirty hand towels they also never gave us the tea we ordered

06/04/2026: Absolutely a beautiful cozy hotel and welcoming staff throughout 😊 nothing was too much trouble for them.. The food was just amazing.....Dinner and breakfast definitely 10 out of 10 ( honestly has to be one of the best i have ever had ) and that includes our castle stay breakfasts and dinners..... Room was also so very cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable.... It was just so much value for money.... Looking forward to returning again soon..... And thank you all for making our stay amazing 👏

19/03/2026: Stayed here for 2 nights rooms good a little bit out dated staff lovely breakfast was excellent food in restaurant was not good the turkey and ham was pre packed afwal veg hard obviously microwaved the only good thing was the desert

11/04/2026: Great time there for a few pints but having a lad in the toilets charging you just for washing your hands is not on. Didn’t pay him and was made feel like I stole him of a living.

10/04/2026: We ordered 2 of their breakfast options: veggie ciabata and meat burrito. They were delicious and made with fresh products! The staff was super kind and friendly and made our short breakfast stop very welcoming. The atmosphere was nice and we were the only customers there but our background noise was the busy kitchen preparing orders. We didn't mind much but some music would've made the ambiance so much better. Overall, great spot, close to the sea and with yummy breakfast sandwhiches and burritos! Definitely recommend!

13/04/2026: Have been with our kids and as we were provided with a table by the bar manager and only to be told it by the manager was residents only bear in mind this manager was a European ! Three people got tables afterwards we have been told and they confirmed they were not residents. It’s 2025 and racism is still and well alive. To the manager we will be seeing you in court !!! Plenty of hotels where we can spend our hard earned money with better service and would be glad to have our custom ! Update to the person that represents The Heights Hotel Killarney I’m after reading every review that currently on your lists and I can confirm that anyone who has left your hotel a negative review you have responded in a very unpleasant and unprofessional manner I would kindly recommend that you sit down and take some customer service steps in the right direction all the negative reviews cannot be wrong . I have never I’m seen a business especially a hotel which is meant to be first class customer service across the board respond In the manner to which you have done . Hopefully the owner might take some advice and let someone else in charge ! And last but not least your establishment has a record of racial profiling as my legal team have confirmed the same . I will let the 4.4 star rating speak for itself !

13/04/2026: Beautiful hotel, very clean, staff are very friendly.Liked, that you could fill up jugs of fliter water. Short taxi ride into the main town, will be coming back to visit, thank you would highly recommend.
