27/01/2025: Solía ser un gran bar una vez. no estoy seguro de lo que pasó, pero el ambiente parece haberse evaporado, el personal muy antipático mientras que el bar en sí está frío y pagando 7 € por una pinta de cerveza (a partir de enero de 2025 ) está tomando el p*ss un poco, sin mencionar el tiempo que tomó para tirar de dicha pinta

19/11/2024: This restaurant/cafe on the main street in Bunclody is a gem. Very friendly staff, well cooked food, lovely atmosphere and a very extensive menu. They use local produce and have local honey, preserves etc.. on sale as well. I would definitely visit again if in the area.

15/02/2025: Absolutely disgusted with the service here , the staff are noway helpful at all my food came down I took a few bits off it found a hair and they did nothing about it but was happy to take my money before we ordered safe to say I will never be back. Its freezing no heaters service was really slow we waited 40mins on breakfast baps just ridiculous

21/01/2025: Usually would never complain about this place as I would visit regularly but whatever chef is on now shouldn’t be there. I ordered a mega breakfast and when I received it the eggs were raw. I asked if they could just put my food on a new plate which the waitress had no problem doing but when I received it back it was missing pudding also. I had such a turn in my stomach over the eggs anyway I couldn’t eat it so got a refund back.

22/03/2025: Me and my girlfriend just came in a little after 2pm after visiting Torc waterfall and Muckross Abbey hoping to get some lunch while waiting on the Red Bus an hour later. We waited at the Monks Lounge reception area to wait for a table to be told it's residents only. No sorry, apologies or recommendations for anywhere else for some lunch. From looking online, this doesn't seem to be the case at all - it allows me to book a table on the website. There were plenty of seats available inside and outside to cater to 2 guests. Considering this is directly across from Muckross Abbey and there are tourists here regularly I'm shocked. If this is how they treat people, I'd rather spend my money and dine elsewhere.

27/04/2024: Lovely stop for lunch. Really good choice on the menu, not your typical boring options. Fish tacos are a must.

03/04/2024: Great little restaurant with the sweetest staff. Tasty food in hearty portions and you can get advice on local happenings. There is also quite a good selection of handmade art.

20/03/2025: I was very underwhelmed at my experience here. 10 reserved seats for a set dinner menu, some of the food was over cooked and one plate came out 30 minutes after the other 9. In the end we all just finished up 40 minutes after we were supposed to(after reserving a table in the cocktail lounge which we couldn't get to. I'm sure it's nice for a max of 4 people but any more than that I presume is a gamble. Overcooked duck. Overcooked pork) I don't know how) Very chewy steak. I will be in no rush to go back here. Shame the other restaurant closed, it was in my opinion, managed a lot better.

13/01/2025: Llegamos en un momento ocupado, pero nos dieron mesa bastante rápido en realidad. Luego hemos elegido del menú y la comida llegó lo suficientemente rápido! Pedí la ensalada de remolacha con mandarina y queso feta. Las mandarinas estaban encendidas como el naranja. La remolacha estaba en el borde y ligeramente viscosa! ¡Apenas sin aderezo, en pocas palabras fue una decepción! Cuando el camarero le preguntó si todo estaba bien, le hablé de los problemas. Se disculpó y se ofreció a pedir una nueva ensalada. Perdí el apetito y digo que ya no tengo hambre. En lugar de limpiar mi plato que dejó el plato delante de mí hasta que dejamos el restaurante! no estoy seguro de qué pensar en eso para ser honesto! Para ser justos, lo quitó de la factura, pero no me apresuraré a volver pronto.

11/12/2024: Tuve otra experiencia increíble a los doce. Tanto la comida como el servicio era exquisito. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar especialmente para las familias. Nuestro servidor Louise era tan entusiasta y encantador para nosotros y los niños. Sin duda volveré.

29/11/2024: Como local siempre me ha gustado este lugar, pero tengo que decir que ha cambiado completamente en el último año. Si bien las pintas son un € 5 que es genial, la calidad de las instalaciones no es grande. La falta de mantenimiento parece ser el mayor problema, especialmente en los baños femeninos. Es una lástima ya que podría ser un establecimiento fantástico para todos.

16/03/2025: Like all other fast food outlets there's a cold atmosphere and not really inviting. You wouldn't feel like lingering on a while once you have eaten. Staff are friendly mostly and serve your order as soon as they can. The portions have become smaller than they used to be but the prices have gone up a good bit we find this to be the norm at all fast food outlets and not just this particular outlet. There is no value for what you have to pay in any fast food outlet these days. Their chicken breast burger is lovely but the portion of chips given is disappointing.

12/04/2025: Used to drive an hour here all the time to get GF fish and chips and I loved them, till today when I got denied entry with my service dog and wasn’t even allowed to put an order on the phone. Nothing. Never again

Chips were not properly cooked , fish a bit like rubber , smaller portion than other places … thanks for ruining my dinner ! Drove 20km to bad food ! U lost me as a customer…. I never had any issues with the place in Howth

29/01/2025: Don’t be deterred by how it looks. The food out of this place was amazing. Proper cut chips and delicious kebab and burger.

22/01/2025: It's just fish and chips, and a few other bits. Two Asian guys working there, both very friendly and quick wait time. All was nice! Well prepared and not too greasy.

21/03/2025: He estado viviendo en killarney casi toda mi vida y fue la primera vez de mi esposa y yo en los laureles y no nos decepcionó el ambiente era increíble el personal era súper amable y la comida era absolutamente fantástica. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente

16/03/2025: Buena comida a última hora en los Laureles. La selección del menú fue variada y nuestro grupo de 8 estaban todos satisfechos con la comida. Estábamos sentados en la habitación de atrás que nos dio un montón de espacio, pero no tenía la "sensación de pub". Siempre una buena parada.
