24/12/2025: Went here on Christmas Eve and although the place was extremely busy we were served promptly and the food was divine. Staff were amazing and performed so well under pressure. 100% spot on

06/12/2025: Great Value food. Chicken burger is the nicest I’ve ever had. Fantastic views all around. Great service and great pint of Guinness!

02/01/2026: By far the absolute worst Supermacs in the country. Staff are slow and disorganised. The seating area is constantly freezing. I wouldn't normally bother giving a poor review to a fast food restaurant but our recent visit will be our last here. They forgot an item from our order, so I had to queue back up to try and sort it out. Got to the top of the queue and explained the problem. The server went over to the fryer and mauled a couple of chicken nuggets sitting in a basket to see if they were cooked, threw a few in a box and handed them to me. The member of our group that was eating them said they were cold. Due to the cold temperature of the seating area and the fact that I had to queue to retrieve the missing item meant my meal was now cold too. There are better fast food restaurants in the town, and vastly better supermacs withing reasonable distance. Give this one a miss if you can.

13/12/2025: Absolutely raging they never ever give me dips or straws any time I come here always “forget” . Expensive too for the quality of food and the staff just looks like there on there last will to live never seen one smile in my life here there always so rude.

04/02/2026: Seen a manager named Dezly I believe he was picking his nose and then serving food I was totally shocked and don’t get me started on his breath.

12/01/2026: Whoever was on the ice creams last Saturday the 10th of January in the loughrea plaza, keep them in the job, i had a Ferrero moozie and it was the best I ever had in my 46 years of life, they did not hold back on the choclate sauce, fair game and well worth the money, in other places I have been youd need a search party for the choclate in the ice cream... please dont give poor review ratings for the workers.. put yourself in their shoes, its one of the hardest jobs dealing with tricky customers, take that into consideration when writing reviews.... rate the system, not the workers....

Conseguir comida y luego hacer cola para pagar significaba que la comida estaba fría, especialmente cuando la persona continuaba hasta que tomó siglos tratar de encontrar artículos. La comida tenía potencial para ser bueno, pero el servicio lo decepcionó.

23/08/2025: In viaggio a Dublino ho mangiato più volte in questo posto, sempre molto soddisfatta. Ottimo il loro piatto della tradizione fish & chips, per me in versione senza glutine con una perfetta panatura croccante e non unta. Atmosfera informale ma con stile e servizio attento e curato. Una nota particolare alla professionalità e simpatia di Simone!

22/08/2025: GOT A HAIR IN MY FOOD !!! WHEN I POINTED THIS OUT TO STAFF SHE SAID THE HAIR IS BLACK , AND YOU HAVE DARK HAIR . BUT OTHER STAFF HAD LONG BLACK HAIR ALSO . I GOT NO APPOLAGY NO SORRY NO NOTHING. SHE JUST WALKED OFF AS IF IT WAS MY PROBLEM NOT HER'S. RUDE , AND CHEEKY STAFF . UN TRAINED IN FOOD SAFTY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONT EAT HERE , ITS A DUMP.

10/08/2025: First time ever staying on a mobile site. Best break I've had in years. The food has been absolutely amazing.. presentation fab .. delicious ..so nice and everyone lovely. Can't wait to be back here soon. Edel has really looked after us for our stay here so special! Tara

29/12/2025: The food market offers over priced products that are at best average. I bought three products; a portiln of trifle, chocken gougons and a shepards pie. All of the products were bow avwragw on terms of quality and taste.

08/01/2026: Lovely spot. Marking down a star because we rented a wooden pod. The website states: "private patio", which it wasn't, it also states "kettle provided" but the circuit breaker keep tripping every time we tried to boil it, so the power isn't sufficient. Also the parking near the pods should be reserved for pod occupants as they were taken by visitors or residents in the chalets.

11/10/2025: Coming here years, usually just for drinks or Brunch. I love the decor and atmosphere and the staff are always excellent. However, on this last visit I was disappointed. The Hugo cocktail I ordered had an elderflower flavouring in it & not the elderflower liquer it should have. As the liquer was listed in another cocktail, I asked for it to be used instead. It was not & I was handed a green drink that tasted nothing like a Hugo. The choice of glassware was uninspiring compared to what they used to use and there was zero efforts made with presentation as I expect for €15 a drink.

31/12/2025: Hi came in for tea food waiting along time no one came take my order women with purple hair and son there girl short black hair working on this day . came with food 3 men come in every day just like me come in every day never asking me if I want order food very bad asking me take what put up down came back in man Noal came up to me telling me take it down its my right put it up if not doing job right who do you think are tell me take it down Cork people don't take this well never eat have tea this place people ask me about it tell them stay away not good place

25/07/2025: Food was good, but the portions rather small. The desert was a joke, we ordered the crumble and it was completely soggy and a tiny piece - absolutely not worth it. Service was good.

24/07/2025: Husband and I chose this pub while visiting Killarney. We love authentic Irish food so this place really hit the spot. When we walked in, we were told that they didn’t have any tables left and they were completely full. There were a couple seats at the bar thankfully so we asked if we could sit there and eat, she said yes. The two young guys behind the bar gave us some drinks quickly, waitress took our food order a few minutes later. We decided to share the mini potato cakes (€8.95), which were pretty much mashed potatoes mixed with chicken and bacon, and then covered in bread crumbs and fried. It was covered in a mushroom creme sauce which was really good, with a small salad on the side (if you can call it that, it was really a couple pieces of lettuce, a single grape tomato and a drizzle of dressing) My husband got the fish and chips (€17.70) which honestly was probably the best fish and chips he’s had so far during our trip. I was a little jealous of his food after I tried some of his. The fish was almost melt-in-your-mouth quality. Soooo good. I would go back just to eat that fish again. I got the spinach and ricotta ravioli (€20.95) which came with a tomato and basil crème sauce, some garlic bread, and a handful of arugula on top. The pasta itself tasted good (jealous of the fish!) but the garlic bread was so crispy (not burnt) that it was almost too hard to chew. The dish would have been fine without the ‘salad garnish’. The only thing I would point out is that obviously the pub is very busy, and it didn’t look like they had an ample amount of seating, but they must have turned away at least 20-30 people because the back of the pub was closed (due to a large party maybe?) and they just couldn’t find a place for those people to sit. So I guess we got there at just the right time? Whatever - I would still go back JUST for the fish and chips ❤️
