The best restaurants

02/09/2025: We grew up eating O'Hara's bread and we especially love the new sourdough ranges. Bakery 51 is an excellent addition to Ballina. The food and staff are excellent. I highly recommend visiting. O'Hara's sponsored an event (Empower Her Wellness) that I was involved with last year and they also sponsored Cancer Action Mayo a number of years ago. They are a great Mayo brand and very generous to the local community.

26/06/2025: An absly must if you call down to Clonmel and you love the original Ceol of Trad Irish Pubs. Strongly recommend Pint of Guinness! 🤤

01/10/2023: Friday night takeaway I ordered from the new Indian restaurant in town. We got a vindaloo, a tikka masala, and two garlic naan breads. The price was reasonable, and the food was tasty. The naan breads were a bit small, it would be great if they could look to increase there size. Rather then getting a takeaway I would recommend people eat inside the restaurant as it is decorated so tastyfully and stylish inside

16/09/2025: Average coffee but dirty while the clerk was on her phone and then the bathrooms were out of service. Had to clean a table before sitting down.

08/09/2024: Picked up a simple take away of two Chicken Kung Po's with fried rice- there was absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to the flavour we expected- in fact it had to be the worst dish I've ever had. Even the prawn crackers were off. I hate to give bad reviews but this dish was so awful I felt it was worth mentioning to the public.

04/09/2024: Very pleasant experience tonight, picked up a spice bag, good size, could have had a little more chicken and slightly less salt but did the job - very friendly staff. Will return

29/06/2025: I asked for a kebab without onions and I was not only ignored, but there was so much onion that after I took it out I came across it again and again, the kebab was so spicy that I couldn’t eat it. Very disappointed

19/02/2025: We had now 3 consistently great kebab orders from the place and its fair to leave a review. Really good kebab place :) Fantastic Vegetarian option - and a chicken kebab packed with fresh meat and salad! Loughrea has a really good Kebab place - it is the place for your Kebab cravings!

20/12/2025: Had my first Luigi pizza the other day. It was a good size and tasty but the chicken wasn't as cooked as I would have liked. Taste wise maybe a 7/10 I've had better for its price it's good quality.

17/08/2025: We ordered three different dishes, chicken and beef. Everything was ready in less than 5 minutes. It was probably days old. Both my partner and I spent the next day vomiting and other things. Basically, we got some serious food poisoning. Plus, the price was really high. 26/11/2025: Amazing shop! They have almost everything you could need for training and supplements. The staff is super friendly and really knowledgeable about all their products. They don’t try to sell you unnecessary stuff like some other shops do. Instead, they explain what you actually need and what you don’t, which I really appreciate. Highly recommended!

12/08/2025: I was there last week. Plenty of parking beside Fyre Gym. The shop is packed with so much stuff. The lad behind the counter was very helpful.
