26/10/2025: Walked in and the woman behind the counter was spewing anti immigration nonsense. She works in a Chinese restaurant?? Bang average food.

19/10/2025: Had to send my food back it was like eating salt They gave me back my money but still charged me for delivery

07/04/2025: It's not here either my review that doesn't exist you must have mistaken with someone else if I had something to say I'd say it. So here it is grand pub great staff, good vibe good drink, great entertainment and you can bring your dog what's not to like. Don't get in often enough.

21/09/2024: We had a good breakfast after all day on the ferry to Rosslare, lovely staff, tasty dishes and drinks. Definetly not the cheapest, but I would go again!

27/08/2024: Had the cajun chicken today which was absolutely gorgeous. The fresh fruit and seeds were a lovely touch. Was on my own but sat up at a counter and ended up having a good chat with 2 strangers. Very enjoyable experience. Will return.

16/08/2024: I love this place I have been going there for a while now and they know me now so it just makes the atmosphere brighter! The food tastes amazing. Everyone is so kind and the price ranges €1 -€ 10 but the parking sometimes is hard to find

14/03/2025: I was in here a few times at the deli counter and had a bad experience there visited again today to get lunch and this woman just grunted at me yaaa when she seen me eyelashes like something you’d see on the side of a road sweeper I see from previous reviews I’m not the first to say it you’d nearly feel guilty asking for anything sighs at any request and plasters the mayo into the doll as if she was filling a hole in a wall with poly filler I know what I’d do with her if I was the owner

28/12/2024: Rude and very not helpful staff

28/10/2024: I thought the price of the food was a little bit high, but I was expecting the food to be very good..... it was not very good for the price we paid. The service was not good. They brought out a tray, a cappuccino, and a BLT. The cappuccino wasn't on a saucer, no spoons or stirrers provided, no sugar, and no milk. When she dropped them onto the table, the cappuccino spilt and made a mess. She forgot my Americano and had to go back for it. Again, she came back without saucer, spoons, milk, or sugar. I didn't like how it was carried out without a tray, and she was just holding it by the handle. The price we paid didn't reflect the service we got (or lack thereof).

17/09/2024: Stopped here for lunch yesterday the food was nice. The service wasn't great. We ordered two wraps and while they were being made we asked the lady that served us if we could take our seat outside and she told us there's 15 seconds left in the toaster if we can wait for our wraps to take them out ourselves. I found this extremely odd, the cafe was empty and there were 2 tables outside with just coffees, while 4 staff members were behind the counter, one looking at her phone as I waited for my food.. bizarre!..

09/07/2025: Great choice and specials available. Very clean, welcoming and great staff. Had the best Club Sandwich I think I ever had and my daughter really enjoyed her sweet chilly chicken wrap, we'll be back soon.

20/04/2025: Fabulous food severed quickly and as requested. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve also brought my dogs with me on a few occasions and they were looked after with such kindness

01/07/2025: Vaya, un restaurante irlandés que hace café decente. Empiezo con eso porque nos hemos alojado en varios hoteles excelentes donde solo puedo describir su café como té débil. En realidad, Cedars es una joya. Tuvimos dos cenas muy buenas y dos maravillosos desayunos buffet. Si bien el personal del autobús puede estar un poco confundido, el personal de camareros se aseguró de que todo fuera perfecto. El personal del autobús se olvidó de llevar pan a la mesa de al lado. La camarera se disculpó profusamente y se excedió para corregir el error. Eso es lo que esperaría ver. Me sorprende que la última reseña que veo tenga dos años.

16/11/2025: Me and my uncle were visiting from Belgium and were really looking forward to a nice chicken chow mein. We’re used to the European-style version — grilled, well-seasoned chicken with some soy flavour and crisp vegetables. Unfortunately, the chow mein we received here in Bantry was nothing like that. It was more like a wet, sloppy roast dinner, very soft and gooey, and after a few bites we just couldn’t eat it. I’m genuinely sorry to say it, but it was really disappointing.

07/03/2026: Went with my parents and wife recently enough and honestly, it was probably the worst culinary experience I've ever had the displeasure of enduring. Service was slow, 20ish minutes and multiple requests for drinks, and don't even get me started on the food. I ordered the buffalo chicken wings, pretty difficult to mess up, or so I thought. The wings arrived grey, clearly recently unfrozen (likely in a microwave) with a meagre splattering of bland "buffalo" sauce in the bowl with them. I've never had sauceless wings in a restaurant before, but there simply wasn't enough sauce to cover even half of the miserable batch. The chickens that died for this meal sacrificed their lives in vain. Oh, and they were 20+ euro

29/10/2025: A very pleasant restaurant with classic décor and professional service. Plenty of space and nooks and crannies, so you can feel intimate and at ease. The food is quite diverse, so everyone should find something to suit their taste. It's worth asking the staff what you specifically need and asking for advice. I recommend it.

01/06/2025: Great craic In The old still, Liz was very warm and super welcoming to all of us. Can’t wait to come back !
