The best restaurants

11/11/2023: I love to come here every Sunday to spent hours writing, the ambient is so relaxing and friendly, never too busy, and the place is just beautiful. Indeed the prices are a bit higher than other places, but for me are well payed. I come here regularly and never found a bad situation with the staff. They all were polite and friendly with me. For the people that complain about the staff, remember that we are all humans, we all have bad days, and if we are kind with other, others will be kind with us.

18/09/2023: Really great place to study and an amazing atmosphere but now they charge €10 a day. I think it is worth it but €5 would get more business cause it is empty now.

07/02/2025: Rip off, charged €18 for 3 cans of beer. Very bad atmosphere.

15/09/2024: While the two friends I was with were more than happy with the Guinness Jackie served. Being a bit early in the day for me, Jackie made me a great big mug of tea, which was every bit as satisfying as the Guinness being supped. Every evening we went in the order was two pints of Guinness and a mug of tea. Jackie from one Manc to another, MANY THANKS.

23/09/2024: Dit restaurant wordt steeds populairder en drukker en ondanks dat blijft de sfeer goed. Het avondeten en ontbijt waren weer van goede kwaliteit. Heerlijk gegeten

26/06/2025: I paid a visit to to this cafe while passing through the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a toasted chicken and stuffing sandwich which arrived promptly and was delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe

14/09/2025: I'm not entirely sure how this place is still operating. It looks and smells like a second hand clothes shop and not a good one. The carpet is mucky the tables are crammed in with old clothes, dusty bric a brac and it just doesn't feel or smell sanitary. We didn't eat here so couldn't vouch for the food but if the smell of stale vinegar is anything to go by I reckon our stomachs dodged a bullet.
