The best restaurants

05/08/2026: Went here for an early dinner. The chicken wings were amazing. Be warned, the black pudding salad it's delicious but expect a main course sized portion. We pleasantly surprised. The kids goujons were quickly devoured. The chicken Kiev and the steak were cooked to perfection and the accompanying coleslaw absolutely magnificent. I would highly recommend to stop here for food.

07/06/2026: We were trying to support local. Food was mediocre and just warm enough. We had one of each roast dinners, edible but not quite worth €16.95 & €17.50. Would have rather been told they were winding up service when I rang to enquire about a table. Than have limited time and that'll do food.

15/03/2026: We went here for dinner today for Mother's Day, I have seen it enough times online but never went until today not disappointed, warm atmosphere, family friendly, nice staff, nice bar and beautiful food which is very reasonably priced. Well done to all looking forward to returning again soon, and thank you for a great service

21/01/2026: Unexpectedly, we found a decent establishment right in the center. Pros: reasonable prices, decent food, a large, bright room. We'd passed it for about four years, thinking it was a cheap eatery. It turned out to be very decent. We ordered turkey in a pita with a variety of toppings. It was delicious and could be considered a healthy option. There's a selection of soups (3 varieties). There's a Baileys coffee shop nearby. It's decent. They also have good ice cream. We also got a large pizza for just 15 euros. The people around were very nice. The first room was full of older people, the second more young. Recommended.

06/07/2025: Very warm and generous service. Great coffee, personalised cheeseboards, bang in the middle of Waterford City action. Didn't try this time but the cocktails looked amazing!

18/08/2025: We stopped for a quick drink on the way home from a hen party. The owners served us, they were very friendly and welcoming. The place itself is so much bigger than we first thought with a lovely beer garden.
