The best restaurants

01/12/2025: Don’t usually leave reviews but felt strongly to leave a review here about my extremely disappointing dining experience in Malahide Golf Club Restaurant yesterday afternoon 30th November We paid for 3 carvery’s myself, my 18 year old son and 16 year daughter 75€ The average price around north Dublin is 14-18€ for a carvery Minimum serving of everything served up To say I was in shock when told cost was 75€ is an understatement After attempting to finish a very mediocre carvery 40 minutes later our plates still hadn’t been taken off the table Atmosphere was poor but then with so many people probably already aware of the poor standard and crazy high prices not many were dining here at this time. Fair to say I will never go near this place ever again

23/04/2025: Disappointed by the attitude, not the food I visited the store today and, unfortunately, I had an upsetting experience with one of the staff members — I believe her name was Linda. After ordering from the hot food counter, I went to the pastry section. Another lady kindly asked me if I wanted anything, and I just answered politely. Suddenly, the previous lady (Linda) interrupted rudely, saying only one person should take the order. I’m not even sure if she was speaking to me or to her colleague, but the whole moment was very uncomfortable. She spoke harshly, made sharp gestures, and continued mumbling under her breath. As someone who has worked in two different environments where I was treated unfairly and even spoken down to in front of customers, I know how painful that is. No employee deserves that — and no customer should witness it either. I even apologized, although I don't feel I was at fault. The atmosphere turned cold, and I felt unwelcome. The way the food was handed to me also felt rushed and dismissive. The food may be good, but kindness and respect are just as important. I hope this feedback leads to a reminder that how we treat others — both customers and coworkers — truly matters.

28/12/2025: Annie The Baking Queen makes excellent pastries—fresh, delicious, and beautifully baked. A real treat, highly recommended

01/08/2025: Excellent bakery and pastry shop in a lovely shop. The pastries are incredibly delicious and the service is impeccable. A must for a coffee and lunch on the Clifden road, about 15 minutes from Galway. Annie lives up to her name; she's the queen!
