08/03/2025: Went with family for dinner last night. The food was excellent from starters to deserts the portions were very generous. The atmosphere was great in the lovely open space. From booking to leaving the staff were wonderful with all 11 of us agreeing it would be hard to beat. Thanks for a fantastic evening.
08/02/2025: This is our go to as locals. The food is always top quality and the portion sizes are such great value for money.
Have been at least 3 times within the last couple of months and collectively had a handful of things from the menu and cannot fault any of it.
We also appreciate the fact that you can get any of the mains as half portions, because then my daughter can get anything she wants from the main/specials menu without being limited to the usual "kids meals".
The only small thing would be that there are no roast potatoes on the roasts, but that doesn't stop us from coming back.
We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere too. Overall very happy customers and will continue going back.

23/02/2025: Some buzz in this place. Called in one Sunday evening and the place was hopping. Despite being so busy the service was exceptional, all orders taken shortly after arriving and food not long after that.
We had a variety of dishes and everyones was a winner, however I have to say of all the dishes the turkey and ham was a stand out. I had the duck on stirfry vegetables and was really satisifed when leaving.
05/01/2025: Love this place! Food was fabulous! Service was excellent and with it being Christmas and all the decorations it was so so cosy! Will definitely be back!

13/11/2024: Had sandwiches in bakewell the bread was hard and stale and the rashers like cardboard all the food looked like it had been there for days and all the pastries out in the open no cover
25/10/2024: Dinner was lovely small portions and very expensive also €1.50 for extra gravy when dinner is €24.50 is a bit Irish

08/09/2024: Called into Nellie’s. The 4of us for a few drinks were made very welcome by the proprietor Nellie we had more than a few. Because the atmosphere. Of a traditional Irish pub is so relaxing. , we returned the next nite and an impromptu sing a long started. A great nite was had by all we will be back thanks Nellie

19/06/2024: Honestamente, no puedo entender la alta calificación que este lugar ha logrado. Estábamos de despedida de soltera y reservamos las 2: 30 Ranura de almuerzo sin fondo el sábado. Era un manicomio absoluto con la música por las nubes. Terrible comida, asqueroso efervescente y cócteles acuosos. El comedor es una larga habitación estrecha oscura sin cubiertas en las mesas y sillas de mala calidad.
Nos fuimos después de una hora. Si usted está pensando en reservar esto, debe conseguir uno de su grupo para ir primero para comprobarlo.
