The best restaurants

12/06/2025: We had such a lovely experience at Hesters – definitely a 5-star visit! The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavour, homemade, and so tasty we were still talking about it afterwards. The staff were so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Couldn’t fault a thing. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

21/04/2025: Complete dog friendly Dog can beside you in the bar while you eat and can stay in the apartment. The staff are so friendly and the service and food were so good 👍 This was a return visit for us and we will definitely be back again. * Would like to suggest a few bins for doggy bags near the property. Thanks again for a brilliant night .

05/04/2025: Qué joya de un restaurante en Deanesgrange, fue con mi hijo, él tenía pasta y yo tenía pizza, absolutamente fantástica comida muy sabrosa de hecho y el personal más atento, restaurante muy ocupado siempre una buena señal. Sin duda volveré 👌 Gracias

31/12/2023: The location, the house, and the room were beautiful. Theresa is a very lovely woman. We had a great night sleep and a fantastic breakfast. We will definitely go back for a little break.

28/10/2025: Came across this lovely bar whilst in Athenry. It has an old style charm, cosey and above all, serves first class Guinness,the traditional draft and the 00% . It also has a good selection of draft beers on tap. Friendly and a place to definitely visit.

10/05/2025: Great food at a good price. Not fancy decor but we were there for the food! A good range to choose from and Jimmy and his staff were authentic. Wine prices were reasonable too.

19/06/2025: I'm incredibly disappointed by the way my family was treated at Nando's this evening. We arrived to find no queue and no staff at the door, so we walked in. To our surprise, two staff members then asked us to go back outside and wait, despite there being visible available tables. This was particularly frustrating and felt incredibly arrogant, especially since I had two hungry children with me. As regular Nando's customers, we've always appreciated your service, but this experience was truly terrible and not what we've come to expect.

16/04/2025: I usually never leave reviews but I have to comment on Nick's friendliness and professionalism. Nick was very accommodating, making mine and my family's experience that much more enjoyable. He definitely deserves a promotion!

29/06/2025: Stopped by Macroom on our way to Galway, and came across the Next Door Cafe on the main street. It is a great spot for a casual lunch. Food was fresh and well made, and the setting is comfortable and attractive.
