The best restaurants

25/10/2024: I want to highlight the excellent service received by Pau at Starbucks. Their kindness, professionalism and dedication made my visit truly enjoyable. Everything was perfect, from the preparation of my order to their friendly and efficient attitude. It is evident that Pau strives to provide quality service and it shows in every detail. Without a doubt, I will return thanks to this very positive experience.

25/01/2025: Was very disappointed last night had to wait 1 hour 30 mins for food was Originally 40 min when I required about the food it seem it wasn't ready yet... So I waited abit long finally got the food the 2 chicken curry was cold when I got back to the house 8 mins away. When I got home they forgot my chicken balls. I paid 39 euros to be honest it really put me of ever coming back after this experience

26/11/2024: Not my normal Chinese in Ballinrobe but i found myself their due to it being a Tuesday , Gravy was sweet not what i expected at all , fried rice was bland boiled rice with a little egg .

07/12/2024: This is really good Chinese, always great. They have a long wait for a takeaway though, on Saturday I had to wait over 1,5 hours from ordering to getting the food, usually between 30/40 min ... still giving 5 stars because the food is always great.

26/08/2024: Delicious food cooked fresh and to your liking. They have gluten free options. Delivery in town. Love their food

08/08/2023: This review does not concern the cuisine because we were not given the opportunity to taste it or set foot in this establishment. This morning (9:30-9:45) we wanted to have breakfast here. Google indicated it as open, but given some comments, I wanted to check while my husband waited for me further away. Outside, a small sign announces that there is indeed a tea room that can be seen through the windows, and the only door to access it is open. I returned, looking for any sign and I saw a little further on a lady who was busy in the tea room through the door which was also open. I didn't have time to say a word when she said something (which I didn't understand), shouted at me to get out ("OMG! Get out! Get out! Get out!" that I understood) while running after me (that finally convinced me). I left without asking for my rest. I don't like to give negative reviews, but it was an experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone (especially for those who don't speak English very well like me) so I'm taking the liberty of sharing it. Maybe this lady doesn't work in this establishment but in any case it is unacceptable to let customers be received in this way.

20/12/2024: Excelente carvery y las Q lo demuestran. Probablemente uno de los mejores que he tenido. Precio razonable para arrancar. Lamentablemente un poco malcriado por el personal antipático que sirve el carvery. El personal del bar estaba bien. El menú de papel de la carta de vinos estaba muy manchado, ¡parecía que no se había cambiado durante meses! Estoy en el negocio de los servicios de comida que nunca permitiría esto.

05/11/2024: Salió el martes 5 de noviembre. Molesto desde el momento en que llegamos estábamos listos para ordenar. Presionado para ordenar. Mientras comíamos perdimos la cuenta del número de veces que el personal quería saber si habíamos terminado. Tenía pollo salteado que el menú no mencionó tenía salsa dulce, ugh! En lugar de papas fritas o ensaladas secundarias dije que tendría verduras extras con col, brócoli + zanahorias en lugar de verduras salteadas. Mi marido me dio muy amablemente su plato como yo odiaba el mío. Se fue con la indigestión como apresurado incesantemente. Qué desperdicio de dinero para relajarte. Mientras aún terminaba la comida, el tipo vino con Bill a los 20. 40 para decir cocina cerrando así que tuvimos que pagar. Podría continuar. En el futuro, lección, tomar una copa y luego ir a uno de los restaurantes de la zona para comer.

09/08/2024: Not very welcoming once we mentioned we had a dog, not all dog owners are irresponsible. We quickly moved onto Portumna where they are far more accommodating in pubs and restaurants.

06/02/2025: Fui al Manhatten el 5 de febrero, normalmente tengo una buena experiencia cada vez que voy con la familia, fui con 3 amigos por un cumpleaños y recibí el peor servicio / comida que he experimentado aquí. Una camarera era encantadora y servicial, pero una era extremadamente grosera, encontramos 2 pelos en 2 platos diferentes, le informé esto a la camarera grosera que puso los ojos en blanco y ni siquiera se disculpó! El segundo pelo fue encontrado y el plato fue compulsó. Mi amigo tuvo que esperar hasta media hora por un pan de ajo que venía mal cocido y liso. Pedí un martini estrella porno que era completamente acuoso e insípido. ¡Desafiantemente lo pensaré dos veces antes de volver!

11/10/2024: Pedí Nachos para mi hijo de 13 años y estaban tan picantes que no se podían comer los ellos, que incluso pedimos dejar fuera a los jalapeños. Luego le dieron una pizza infantil con un pepperoni, unas pequeñas patatas fritas que se tiraron a un lado de la pizza y se estaban cayendo del plato y en el piso. La pizza ni siquiera estaba cocinada correctamente. Usan para poner las papas fritas en un pequeño recipiente, la comida aquí es asquerosa por los precios que cobran

30/12/2024: Not at all. Over an hour for take out delivery. Really rude server. Yet to get food. Really rubbish. Not recommended for anyone.

22/12/2024: Without a doubt , the worst fish and chips I have ever been served. My wife had the smoked cod, was thinner than a slice of sliced bread. The batter was practically non existant. Now to the ray that I ordered. I come from Raytown (Ringsend) It was disgraceful. To serve what I got was just horrendous. Inside the overcooked thin lair of batter was the smallest piece of Ray I have ever seen. I've been eating Ray all my life and this was the worst I have ever been served. The excuse I was given was that is all they could buy from their supplier. To which I replied , why did you buy it if it is inferior. And then try to pawn it off on customers. Needless to say Sharkys will never see us again. Dreadful food and the staff with their take it or leave it attitude was not a lot to be proud of.
