The best restaurants

31/07/2025: Meant to write sooner. I stayed in Bellinter with my aunt who has some mobility issues in early June. I knew it was an old house so pre-checked re facilities etc. Well I can only say from reception, all restaurant/bar staff, the welcome & hospitality shown to us was outstanding. I have stayed here before & always enjoyed. But this was extra special. Everyone including maintenance dept were extremely helpful & kind. It’s such a pleasure to experience this. These are just a few of the names of great humans I came across Serena. Shirley. Tina. Sharon. Deniz & Shona. Many thanks. The dinner was Devine too! Beautiful fresh ingredients & great wine list. The only suggestion I’d give, is a bit more attention to the cooked breakfast in the morning. Otherwise great selection of fresh fruits etc. thank you 🙏🏼

08/06/2025: Delightful dinner meal. Well cooked, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. Surprisingly, the most delicious crème brûlèe I have ever had (trust me). Kind and friendly service. Relaxing seating.

24/11/2023: Rang in order over the phone. Arrived and one of the staff told me it was still in the fryer. 10.mins later I asked what's the story. They never put the stuff on. Chef couldn't give 2 fcks. Raw chips, terrible chipper

04/09/2023: They used frozen fish and chips… thick batter and hard fish. I tried many fish and chips but Irish fish and chips was the worst

07/12/2024: This is really good Chinese, always great. They have a long wait for a takeaway though, on Saturday I had to wait over 1,5 hours from ordering to getting the food, usually between 30/40 min ... still giving 5 stars because the food is always great.

13/06/2025: Lovely food ! Naan bread, chilli chicken starter, and butter chicken…. Love the Madri beers too!

21/04/2025: Got a fresh cod and chip. Looked lovely in the box even though they were very few chips. Fish was practically in edible. Soggy batter with something white inside that did not taste of fish. I threw it out
