22/12/2024: As others have mentioned, it doesn't look like much, but there's so much heart in this place. Wonderful owner, and lots of great events that are all about bringing people together. Some of the best nachos you can get.

07/04/2025: It's not here either my review that doesn't exist you must have mistaken with someone else if I had something to say I'd say it. So here it is grand pub great staff, good vibe good drink, great entertainment and you can bring your dog what's not to like. Don't get in often enough.

11/12/2025: I ordered food today on just eat. I checked the app and it said that the food had arrived I was thinking there was a mix up as I didn’t receive my food. so I called the restaurant & I had the most unpleasant experience with a woman on the phone called Evette. When I explained my situation she was very rude, condescending and absolutely no help whatsoever she told me that she was “annoyed by the inconvenience” . She said it was sent to the wrong address which I don’t know why that what happened because I had given the correct address & air code. I asked if I would get a discount and she said it wasn’t their fault which I think is ridiculous & her way of refusing to take accountability of the mistake. When I asked when the next order would arrive she wouldn’t give me any indication or reassurance on a time and I honestly didn’t trust that the food would come. Overall I was mostly disappointed with the way Evette spoke to me over the phone and I personally think it’s no way to treat a customer and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant I would advise everyone to steer clear.

18/07/2024: Hier kun je heerlijk eten en drinken en is vriendelijk geprijsd. Meestal hoef je niet te reserveren, maar even vragen kan geen kwaad, anders ben je snel overgeleverd aan de wat goedkopere eettenten. We hadden al snel besloten hier iedere avond te gaan eten (3 avonden)

08/06/2024: Pleasantly surprised as had no great expectations.Lovely staff. Brie starter in filo pastry was light and very delicious. Cod goujons were nicely battered and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

19/12/2025: We just had dinner here, the service was great the girls were very nice and helpful. The restaurant was very big, quiet as we expected. however the food can be improved in my opinion, we ordered onion soup as starter, it’s very salty we can’t finish one third of it. I ordered medium rib eye steak for main, surprisingly it was burnt so much it tasted bitter! More surprisingly when the manager came he explained the food were supposed to be cooked as they were, onion soup should be salty it’s French the steak is grilled to lock the taste in, he might be right but I think the chef overcooked it. The dessert was good!In the end they didn’t charge us for one set (one set menu is 49 euros), they even didn’t charge for the kids set. In general we were disappointed that we were so looking forward to it the restaurant was designed good and the guests have great space and keep their privacy. And the location right in the hotel, imagine if the food is good you needn’t hunt for food outside, it will be perfect!

09/02/2026: Overall very poor. We arrived at 3.00 on a Sunday to be told they were closing at 3.30. Didn’t get a warm fáilte not very good for a tourist village like Adare and this is in the Visitor centre. We got a coffee and walnut cake which was very dry and crumbly, coffees only ok.

19/07/2025: Asked for a full breakfast and was charged 17e, when it finally arrived it had no beans, no hash brown, no white or black pudding and no mushrooms, when I asked about them I was told you don't get those with a full breakfast, so why it's called a full breakfast is misleading,, 17e for 2eggs,2 rashers and 2 sausages,, absolute disgrace ripping people off like this

28/07/2025: Unfriendly staff, zero flexibility beyond their menu. Got the bill without asking for it, as if they want to get rid of us - despite being Hotel guests. Hospitality is something very different... Wouldn't recommend at all.
