12/11/2024: Bad night for chips lads. Where's the proper guy on holiday or something 🤔

12/11/2024: Got 3 bags of chips 🍟 and they were like the end bits. 1 bag out of the 3 were edible. Luckily the dog likes chips

11/12/2024: Was there a month ago. WOW best cup of coffee I have ever had. And all I ordered was a Coffee Americano due to time restraints. Vacation pkg. You have to visit and get coffee there.

30/11/2024: Popped in for a cappuccino today and wow, 1 of the best in Limerick and friendly staff will be back 👍

24/11/2023: Rang in order over the phone. Arrived and one of the staff told me it was still in the fryer. 10.mins later I asked what's the story. They never put the stuff on. Chef couldn't give 2 fcks. Raw chips, terrible chipper

04/09/2023: They used frozen fish and chips… thick batter and hard fish. I tried many fish and chips but Irish fish and chips was the worst

09/08/2024: Not very welcoming once we mentioned we had a dog, not all dog owners are irresponsible. We quickly moved onto Portumna where they are far more accommodating in pubs and restaurants.

22/10/2023: That was closed on Sunday 9.15 AM.

08/08/2023: This review does not concern the cuisine because we were not given the opportunity to taste it or set foot in this establishment. This morning (9:30-9:45) we wanted to have breakfast here. Google indicated it as open, but given some comments, I wanted to check while my husband waited for me further away. Outside, a small sign announces that there is indeed a tea room that can be seen through the windows, and the only door to access it is open. I returned, looking for any sign and I saw a little further on a lady who was busy in the tea room through the door which was also open. I didn't have time to say a word as she said something (which I didn't understand), shouted at me to get out ("OMG! Get out! Get out! Get out!" I understood that) while running after me (that finally convinced me). I left without asking for my rest. I don't like to give negative reviews, but it was an experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone (especially for those who don't speak English very well like me) so I'm taking the liberty of sharing it. Maybe this lady doesn't work in this establishment but in any case it is unacceptable to let customers be received in this way.

25/10/2024: I want to highlight the excellent service received by Pau at Starbucks. Their kindness, professionalism and dedication made my visit truly enjoyable. Everything was perfect, from the preparation of my order to their friendly and efficient attitude. It is evident that Pau strives to provide quality service and it shows in every detail. Without a doubt, I will return thanks to this very positive experience.

05/11/2024: Went on Tues, Nov 5th. Hassled from time we arrived about were we ready to order. Pressured to order. While eating lost count of number of times staff wanted to know if we were finished. Had chicken stir fry that menu failed to mention had sweet sauce, ugh!!! Instead of chips or side salad I said I'd have extra veg got cabbage, broccoli + carrots rather than stirfry veg. My husband very kindly gave me his dish as I hated mine.Left with indigestion as rushed incessantly. Such a waste of money for relaxing night. While still finishing food, guy came with bill at 20.40 to say kitchen closing so we had to pay. Could go on. In future, lesson, have a drink and then go to one of restaurants in area to eat.

01/11/2024: Used to go to this pub regularly on a Friday but all of a sudden every fkg table has a reserved label on it!!! It’s supposed to be a public house!!!!

29/07/2024: We're currently half way through our stay. I wanted to write a review after our first night, that's how impressed we were, but didn't get around to it! From the moment we arrived Estelle has been warm, friendly and inviting. She showed us to our room, which is very comfortable indeed. The bed is amazing, the shower is possibly the most powerful I've ever experienced! Beautiful soft towels. Breakfast is delicious, the bacon and scrambled eggs are to die for. The pancakes are amazing. We simply cannot recommend O’Driscoll’s highly enough. You will not regret booking your stay here. Special mention to Estelle's spaniel Freddy, who is also very sweet and welcoming!

26/11/2024: Not my normal Chinese in Ballinrobe but i found myself their due to it being a Tuesday , Gravy was sweet not what i expected at all , fried rice was bland boiled rice with a little egg .
