30/09/2024: The food is always top quality in here and the staff are very friendly. The Mexicana sandwich is particularly nice!

22/06/2024: I came down here while I was attending the Donegal Rally, came in while the place was empty and was immediately treated with unpleasantness. We were instructed to go to the counter to order food and when I went up with my group. I ordered and Irish breakfast with a coffee and on the menu it cost 9.90 but when I went to pay I was charged over 13 euro. The general demeanor of the woman behind the counter and the eye rolls over the fact I was ordering food. If I could give less stars I would. Terrible place to go terrible service, will recommend people to go elsewhere.

10/04/2025: The Best Hot Chocolate is to be had at this Coffee house. I was offered a mix of Dark and Milk Chocolate that was carefully mixed together which made for a very rewarding and enjoyable Hot Chocolate. Every other Hot Chocolate I have had since then,just tastes like Watery Milk. So Thanks Blue House Coffee for taking the time to make such a Great Hot Chocolate,so from here on in,my Hot Chocolate experience will be reserved for Blue House Coffee.✋️✋️ On top of all that the service is great and there is a lovely community atmosphere.❤️❤️❤️

14/03/2025: We were here at 0800 to get coffee and something to eat before our bus, but they were out of everything except one single pastry. The flat whites only came in regular size, and they were quite small for the cost. I was disappointed after reading the reviews.

30/01/2025: geniunely such a bad school, In first year In spanish i had 4 different teachers so i barely learned anything. the year head cares more about what you do on your ipad and if you use your journal right than if your getting a good eduacation,they blocked many features on ipads as well. food is way overpriced. shirry school.

04/07/2025: Ordered an spice box from here and… well…. What a disappointment. Got one here before was so amazingly good I came back but unfortunately they have changed, and as a person who hates change this just tipped over the edge. Finished the spice box quickly, not because I ate it fast but because there was diddly all in it. About 90% soggy chips and 10% chicken. Had two massive chicken balls which could have been tennis balls. Chicken wings were also in the box and I swear my toe was bigger than one of them. oh, and don’t let me forget, NO SHREDDED CHICKEN? About five bits of onion in it. I know. Horrific. This may seem like a joke to whomever is reading, but I am deadly serious. Deadly. Don’t even get curry with the meal ridic and it was twelve euro. Felt more like eating a crappy lucky bag than a spice box.

17/08/2024: ‘Best 2 dinners, I’ve ever eaten’ says the father and that’s saying something. Went for the fish platter - unbelievable. Service was spot on, including my 7 year nephew who was clearly auditioning for a spot on the team. Next time we’re in Sneem, I’ll be there. Unmissable.

07/07/2024: The staff we friendly and the dining room was cozy. Was really looking forward to their fish and chips but was underwhelmed. More like chips with a wee piece of fish. The batter was lovely though but chips a bit soggy.

29/10/2025: A very pleasant restaurant with classic décor and professional service. Plenty of space and nooks and crannies, so you can feel intimate and at ease. The food is quite diverse, so everyone should find something to suit their taste. It's worth asking the staff what you specifically need and asking for advice. I recommend it.

31/08/2025: I only had breakfast here, but that was enough to let me know I would never want to come back. When seated, they ask if you want tea or coffee. I waited, and after 15 minutes, no drink service. So, I picked up my coffee cup and wandered around looking for coffee. A server saw me, had me sit, and then I finally got my coffee. Second day, Same experience. I sat and waited for 20 minutes, and again, no coffee or tea. I found the server station, poured myself a cup, and as I did, the restaurant manager walked by, smiled at me, and just kept going. My sunny-side-up egg had a hard-cooked yolk. I love oatmeal and can say this was about the worst I’ve ever had. I’ve had better instant. It was a smooth, sticky mess with no consistency or flavor. The scrambled eggs are powdered as they sit in a big bed of what could be called scrambled egg soup. Tip: For a full Irish breakfast, select the self-serve option. They take a plate over to the same self-serve bar and give you the exact same food, but will charge you an additional four euros. Skip it and opt for self-serve, or better yet, find an alternative place to eat.
