The best restaurants

12/02/2025: We went there for 2 pizzas. Was told to come back in about half an hour to pick them up. When I arrived, they completely forgot about my pizza in the oven so they burned it to crisp and had to make me another one. 20 minutes later, I was handed 2 pizza boxes. When I opened them I had one pizza and one garlic bread. So I went back to tell them that I am missing a pizza. So they said to give them 10 minutes they will make me another one. 15 minutes later they gave me my pizza, which was missing half of the toppings. Went back AGAIN, to tell them this is not what I have paid for ‑ no apologies or anything, just said they will add them raw on top. Utterly disappointed. Will definitely come back again.

22/10/2023: I have just had an absolutely delicious oatmilk caramel latte from here, possibly the best I have ever tasted. The rest of my group had icecreams which they said were gorgeous. The hot sauce for the sundaes really make them so good. And the scoops of ice cream are excellent quality too. It was really busy with quite along queue of people arriving at the same time, but the girls serving took it in their stride and still had a friendly smile and lovely manner for each customer. Top class service with top class produce.👌😁

12/06/2025: The best deli chef around with custom and varied choices, even for veggies. And THE BEST barista in the country. His oat hot chocolate is the best I've ever had and continues to be.

14/04/2026: What can I say ! Easy going environment, great fire, decent staff, good drink “draught kegs right underneath taps so no draw on lines”. Exceptional clientele at anytime.

08/05/2025: If you're looking to be stranded on a remote island, served microscopic food portions, and charged the GDP of a small nation for the pleasure, then congratulations—you've found your dream destination in Inis Meáin Restaurant. Let's start with the location. What kind of masochist puts a restaurant on a rock in the Atlantic where Wi-Fi fears to tread and the wind sounds like it wants to kill you? After surviving the boat ride (which doubles as a nausea endurance test), we were greeted not by warmth or welcome, but by a building that looked like a concrete shoebox pretending to be minimalist. Inside, it didn’t get better. The decor screamed, “We spent all the money on Instagram lighting and forgot to buy chairs people can actually sit on.” The staff, though polite, had the kind of calm intensity you’d expect from people trying not to cry in front of customers. Now, the food. Oh, the food. Each plate looked like a modern art installation made from leftovers of a better restaurant. “Locally sourced” must be code for “we foraged this from the side of the road.” I had to use a magnifying glass to see my main course. I left hungrier than I arrived, but spiritually bruised. Wine list? More like “guess which bottle costs more than your flight here.” I wept quietly into my overpriced glass of something French while contemplating life choices. Overall, if you enjoy being broke, cold, and existentially confused, Inis Meáin Restaurant delivers. Otherwise, stay on the mainland and eat a sandwich.

25/01/2025: Small, family owned cafe located in the center of town. Sit-down service, excellent coffee and pastries available. Service is excellent, friendly staff.

20/09/2024: Rude stuff. Don't have manner to talk with coustemer. I'm pure vegetarian so I polaitly ask lady to change gloves but she told FOR WHAT!!!!!!

17/02/2025: Bonito menú, muy detallado , tenía los fideos vegetales , quería condimentarlos más por el lado más dulce , pero no estaba mal que las verduras estuvieran cargadas ! A mi marido le encantaba su pollo y arroz, la salsa estaba deliciosa! También pedimos platos para niños. ¡El arroz estaba bien cocido! Me encantó el servicio!

31/01/2025: La comida era buena, me dieron comida para llevar, pero la gente del mostrador no paraba de dirigir, pensaron que era grosero, estuvieron allí unos 10 minutos, pero siguieron dirigiendo.

17/09/2025: Double espresso and ham & cheese panini at Dublin Airport. The sweet tangy mustard makes it. Absolutely delicious!

02/09/2025: I spent 7.95 euro on a chicken tikka wrap. Absolutely no flavour at all. Utter waste of money. I would never purchase again from shop. I wasn't expecting miracles but a half decent wrap would have been most welcome.
