23/07/2025: What a fantastic pub, recently opened in Hacketstown. Called in for a beer recently and I much say the atmosphere, the service, the friendly staff and the overall cleanliness of this pub was as good as it gets. I'll definitely be returning here again for another enjoyable evening

29/11/2024: I used to visit this place often but now the food quality has worsened. Soggy sandwiches. They don't even greet, no smile. Bakery stuff with fungus in the fridge. Would never go there ever again.
26/11/2024: What a beautiful little cafe. Full of gorgeous homemade bakes, sandwiches, great coffee and small amount of food retail. I had a toasted chicken and pesto on sourdough and finally, a toasted sandwich that's crispy and actually hot in the middle. It's devine! I got a few little treats for take away and can't wait to try later with the family. The cafe is dressed with lovely Xmas decs and there's Christmas cheer in the background. Super friendly staff also.. Definitely go if you havnt visited you won't be disappointed. 5 out of 5

16/04/2025: Staying over the road in an air b&b,we popped in after a wake and where mad very welcome GY61 the staff, lovely people and the best Guinness ever, going back today for more. Cheers.

19/09/2024: Josey and Karen were amazing! What a great local Irish Pub experience! We couldn't have asked for better. Charming. Funny. Great stories! If you are looking for a great local experience then this is it. And a Pittsburgh Steelers pub to Boot (go Pats!). Next time we are in Ireland we will visit again. In the meantime, go to Harte's and keep our seats warm for us.
20/08/2024: Great local pub situated in the heart of Gort. Friendly Bar man, You couldn't miss the big sign on the wall 'CASH ONLY, NO CARDS'. The locals are not afraid to have a chat with you, without being overly curious and presuming you're some long lost yank looking to trace your roots! The pub was unmodernised, which I found refreshing especially in this day and age where everything is WIFI and TAP and people have forgotten the art of conversation, not a smart phone in sight, just gentle harmless banter and the added bonus that €5 CASH will get you one of the nicest pints of Guinness ever

The Belle Vue Bar

15/01/2025: A really lovely and unexpected find. I was invited to a small gathering on a January night. There was a roaring fire, dim lights, lovely ecor and cosy comfy seating. There's no food served, just drinks, but all served with a smile and no fuss. I'd definitely return.

29/09/2024: This tiny vegan gem tucked away in Blackrock Market is a must-try! They offer an international menu bursting with flavour. I opted for the avocado toast, and despite not being a fan of tomatoes or un-smashed avocado, I was pleasantly surprised. We all devoured our food – it was that good! Even the oil they used was delicious. My lactose-intolerant friend had a great selection to choose from, which is always a plus. The service was warm and friendly, with a lovely family atmosphere.
04/09/2024: Cute little vegan cafe in Blackrock. What I loved most apart from their coffee and cakes was the service - very kind owner and waiter.
Only downside for me was that there was a tiny fly in my coffee, but I wasn’t charged for it. Will definitely visit again to try more of their dishes
