06/10/2025: I had a really bad experience here today. I wanted to order pancakes for my daughter, but instead of the marshmallows that come with it, I asked for strawberries — a simple and much healthier option. The waiter told me they weren’t allowed to make that change, as their manager had instructed them not to swap marshmallows for strawberries. I find it completely unacceptable that a café refuses a healthier alternative for a child, especially when strawberries are already available on other menu items. It’s very disappointing that they prioritize rigid rules over basic customer care and healthy options. That’s awful

25/08/2025: Look at this sizeable portion of crisps with my sandwich 😂 Asked politely for more because I thought it was comical and she was rude and said ‘well that’s the portion’. It’s also insanely overpriced.

27/03/2024: Had several delicious breakfasts here. Delicious coffee, with a variety of choices. I think the Irish breakfast is very tasty here. You feel welcome when you sit down; they don't look away, and you can stay there quietly after you've finished your meal.

20/11/2025: Stayed in Malin Head recently and the takeaway we had from here was amazing. Delicious food and really lovely staff!

20/10/2024: Really friendly and super helpful staff, answering silly questions and requests and chatting when they had a minute. Music was really fantastic. Lovely comfortable warm would highly recommend.

08/02/2025: Bit pricy for the food and coffee quality you get. Is good to have a seat if every else is full. There are better quality alternatives close by. The staff are very friendly and provided a good service 👍

15/08/2025: The freshest and nicest gluten free loaf in Cork. One of the very few bakeries that sells a freshly baked gluten free loaf. Would recommend bringing a tote bag with you.

07/06/2025: Easily the best bakery in town, very good selection on sourdough based bakery goods. Can recommend the rolls, and for every German reading this: Rye Sourdough!
