The best restaurants

22/12/2024: We always go there and get good sushi and burgers. The Asian waiters are so kind and very fast. Will be back only for it

12/10/2024: Went to a Japanese restaurant , but it’s actually just a bar. Then the waiter says that they DONT have sushi, sashimi or any kind of seafood at all. Very dissatisfied, I ordered ramen that was bland and tasteless. I don’t recommend this place at all.

12/07/2026: Ordered online waited 80 mins for curry chip and wrap when i went into the shop i was told by a very rude woman never order here again and when leaving worker stood in the doorway and wouldnt move out of my way the wrap was stale and the curry chips only half full stay clear

06/07/2026: Absolutely horrible garlic cheese and chips. I had to drive back to ask for a fresh batch as the chips i got were burnt, and soggy. I literally watched them reheat the ''fresh'' chips and cheese in the microwave. And the chips were just as nasty as the chips i had asked to replace. Avoid.

09/01/2026: Drive all the way here from Gorey as it beats any Chinese here. Really good portions, really good value, the only place that does shredded chicken that's not stringy and does a proper chow mein. Everything we've tried so far has been delicious. The people who work here are really lovely too.

20/06/2025: I got a takeaway here based on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. Everything was so tasty and it wasn't greasy at all. 100% would recommend!

26/05/2025: Lovely pub atmosphere and amazing food. Just a good classic pub. Definitely should visit if you're in the area especially for food :)

18/05/2025: When we arrived at the Village Inn we were given the choice of where to sit as it was very very quiet. We were the only people in for food at that time. The pub is an old typical Irish family pub. Very cosy and clean enough. The young girl serving brought us menus when we chose our table, she asked at that point if she could get us drinks. We both had a soft drink. When we decided what we wanted from the food menu the same young girl took our order. My partner had the beef nachos and I had the garlic mushrooms which were absolutely delicious, the best I have had too be honest! Both portions were very generous! Afterwards, for our main meals we ordered chicken korma with half & half rice & chips, and my partner ordered the steak sandwich! He absolutely loved his, the portion size again was very generous! I had the chicken korma which again was a generous portion! The chips were absolutely amazing, fresh and very hot, the korma was also very hot, the way I would expect to have a meal put down to me, however I felt it was very bland as was the rice which was disappointing! The young girl serving was friendly enough but was quiet. However she was efficient and presented very well, very clean etc! After our food we left to go on a road trip. I would return here but would make a different food choice for my main meal.

24/04/2025: Asistí a un funeral en este lugar el 22 / 4 con un gran grupo de familia. El personal era muy servicial y respetuoso y tuvimos una comida carvery. Los chefs eran tan amables y eficientes y honestamente puedo decir que fue el mejor carvery que he tenido. Muchas gracias ☺️

05/07/2025: Siempre me ha encantado el club de curry indio, pero después de nuestra comida de esta noche no volveré a comprar allí. Afortunadamente, lo único que queríamos esta noche era comida para llevar de pan naan, poppadoms y otros acompañamientos. Debieron haber cambiado de chef ya que el naan era como comer cuero de zapato y luego la salsa de menta que debería ayudar a refrescar el paladar era picante. Muy decepcionado y contento de no haber tenido platos principales.

19/02/2025: La entrega en línea ordenada fue exactamente a tiempo. La comida era agradable, aunque un poco más de especias habría sido genial. Pensé que había pedido utensilios que no aparecían. Todavía precio y comida buena y vale la pena.

26/09/2025: Only giving guinness in a plastic cup to tourists or girls it seems, very poor form when everyone else had glass pints. And when asked, it’s cause they are local…

21/12/2024: Tipica accoglienza mediterranea, disponibilità, cortesia da ritornare prossimo anno. la loro pizza margherita non ha nulla da invidiare alle pizze Napoletane

08/12/2024: It use to be nice food vut lately it has declined. The mexican chips are dry there is either no sauce at all or so little you cant taste it. Also a bit to spicy.
