10/11/2024: Not open when says it is open:(

02/11/2024: 3 times in a row i've been to this premises , it's states it's open online and every time i've been here at 2pm and the door is closed. Pitty because it's always around lunch time.

04/09/2026: This bar is actually called "The Snug" not "The Snuc" and it is part of Badbobs, not an independent establishment. No affiliation with The Snug on Stephen Street Upper. And no, it was not established in 1694 - more like 2013.

16/07/2026: Burger was so incredibly dry and they did not put enough dressing. Fries were seasoned well but service wasn’t great, as there was only us for a while and nobody really came to talk to us.

23/08/2026: I had lunch here a few weeks ago and it was not great. First no table service, You order and pay first at the counter. This was a saturday morning and they had about 4 staff out front and i assume 2 more in the back. We order 3 breakfasts, 3 coffee's and 3 OJ. We got Breakfast first with no cutlery.. 35 mins later we got the OJ and10 more mins the coffee. This was after asking 3 time for them. I will say the food was not bad but the service ruined the meal.

01/04/2026: I had a lunch here last week when staying in the landmark hotel. It was a cold and wet day and this cafe was a nice warm refuge from the weather. The toasted sandwich I got was lovely and the coffee was nice too. They had some gorgeous and tempting looking desserts on display. The lady working here with the English accent was very friendly & personable. I returned the next day to get one of those impressive looking homemade cinnamon buns as a treat for my partner. She said it was one of the nicest cinnamon buns she’s had and far better than the big chain cafes. Overall would recommend.

05/06/2026: Great pub and staff are fantastic

30/07/2025: These were probably the worst kebabs we have ever tasted. Plus no salad in one of the two we had - name change now called cheesey bits but would appear to be the same place and people. Would not recommend
