25/10/2025: I asked for extra salt about 8 times and I still didn’t get what I wanted so I had to but the salt on myself

09/05/2025: This shop is a nice little place just beside the coast so great place to stop at the start of your day and the coffee is great as it’s the only place I think left in the country that’s a good price also the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Would highly recommend that you stop here.

05/03/2025: Probably the worst fish n chips ever…… Simple. I wanted fresh fish and chips. He said the fish was fresh. Ok fish and chips please. The fish was small and dry and could not have been fresh. And they are not chips but frozen fries. Got back and ate some of the fish and threw the lot away…… we stayed hungry.

11/12/2025: Top class service from Tara and Rory. I ordered 4 different cocktail mixers for my husbands birthday. Each cocktail came with its own 3 step process on how to make the cocktail, garnishes, beautiful glass dispenser with stand, pourers, measures etc. it was a surprise party and I couldn’t hide the goodies in the fridge so everything came in a cooler box with ice which was great. There wasn’t a drop left at the end of the night. Whiskey sours were a big favourite along with mojito , martini and margarita. Would definitely recommend foxglove for a party. Can’t wait for another excuse to hire them.

20/12/2023: Had breakfast here 1 morning. It was fine. I had the "full Irish". I think it would have been nicer if it had been cooked to order - but everything, apart from the fried eggs, was pre cooked. But Mary was lovely.

10/07/2025: Shocking how incompetent the staff are here. We forgot from the last time but went back last night, waited 35 minutes for food. The queue was just building as usual and people walking out. The drink wasn't even filled up and the order was wrong. It's actually shocking. They need a new manager. The staff weren't even at the counter half the time so we couldn't go back up and the the right stuff.

10/06/2025: Terrible service. Burger thrown together, half of it missing. Habded back immediately and given another just as bad. Will not go there again.

13/08/2025: Cooked from frozen chips and burgers.

04/08/2025: €14 for a spectacular fish and chips. Generous portions and super fresh fish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
