The best restaurants

26/10/2024: Edit: Oct 24 Review gone down to 3 ⭐ high prices did not change but quality is terrible 😕 coffee is sour and ham and cheese sandwich is minimal. Had to disect it to find the cheese. The vegetarian roll tasted like cardboard. It's a shame. ------ Came in for a quick coffee and it was very good. Had a bit to eat it was alright got me over the line.

16/07/2024: The Natural Bakery is, as it says on the tin, a bakery, and thankfully its baked goods are, for the most part, to a rather high standard. I am particularly a fan of their Cinnamon Roll (seen below). However, the coffee is not always prepared properly. On two occasions where I have ordered a mocha, there has been an immediately noticeable discrepancy - the first such occasion, the barista making it hadn’t mixed the chocolate and the coffee, meaning I was drinking a cappuccino with a shot of nothing but cloying chocolate syrup at the bottom. The second such occasion, I found that there was simply no chocolate at all. These incidents were both quite late into the shop’s opening hours so I don’t blame the staff if they were tired.

29/09/2024: Pizza Max is located across the street from Tuam Shopping Centre. Very modern pizza place with friendly staff and good pizza.

09/12/2023: I heard at the Carrick farmers market about this Italian man serving great pizza in Ballinamore . We got 3 pizzas yesterday. Delicious! Loved all of them! Great taste and cooked to perfection. Well done Simone! From Imelda

07/07/2025: Absolutely disgraceful carry on from the man who was taking orders. He was nasty, snappy and not very friendly which put me off finishing ordering.

17/05/2025: I was 10 minutes away so I decided to ring my order in. It was only a burger and chips. When I arrived a kind woman behind the counter said it will be another 5 mins. I said no problem as I don’t mind waiting. All of a sudden the owner a rude bald man came out and shouted at me that I shouldn’t be making orders over the phone!!! He stated that I won’t get it quicker and I am only a nuisance to him!! It was quite embarrassing for him that even the woman apologised to me for him. If that is what he’s like to customers I worry what he’s like to his staff!!
