The best restaurants

11/11/2023: I love to come here every Sunday to spent hours writing, the ambient is so relaxing and friendly, never too busy, and the place is just beautiful. Indeed the prices are a bit higher than other places, but for me are well payed. I come here regularly and never found a bad situation with the staff. They all were polite and friendly with me. For the people that complain about the staff, remember that we are all humans, we all have bad days, and if we are kind with other, others will be kind with us.

18/09/2023: Really great place to study and an amazing atmosphere but now they charge €10 a day. I think it is worth it but €5 would get more business cause it is empty now.

18/07/2026: I bought one small cheese pizza and one portion of chicken wings, which came to a total of €18.50. Because my younger sister is still a child and didn’t know the price, she handed the cashier €30. However, she was only given €1.50 in change, when she should have received €11.50. When I realized what had happened, I went back to the restaurant and spoke to them politely. All I wanted was for them to understand the situation and check the security camera so we could resolve the issue in a friendly and respectful way. We have been loyal customers for many years, which is why this experience was extremely disappointing. Very disappointing and completely unacceptable. When we arrived, they immediately insisted that their employee was right, making it seem as though we were the ones who were lying. They chose to believe their staff without properly investigating and treated us with a clear lack of respect. We asked to speak with the cashier who had served us, but the owner initially refused to call her over. After I found her myself, she then suggested checking the CCTV again and kept avoiding giving a clear answer. This was after they had already repeatedly insisted that their employee was correct. It is truly upsetting that after supporting this business for several years, this is how we were treated.

23/05/2026: No one told the lobster is over, after we wait for hour in the queue they just say, comeback tomorrow we don’t have lobster. Ridiculous

17/04/2026: Ordered a Fish Ciabatta in the Ballyhale Mountain Food market. Husband:"Really nice fish. Definitely getting another one if coming across the shop."

20/05/2026: We had our wedding after party in Lynches Pub last month. Mary and her staff were an absolute dream to deal with! They decorated the bar so nicely for us and also had little nibbles and prosecco for guests on arrival. We also got finger food delivered and Mary and her staff served it for us. There was plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. The bar also has a pool table out the back which our guests loved. Would absolute recommend hosting your event here!

26/06/2025: I paid a visit to to this cafe while passing through the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a toasted chicken and stuffing sandwich which arrived promptly and was delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe

03/05/2026: We ordered one shredded chicken, two chicken chow mein, and one vegetable chow mein. Unfortunately, the food did not taste like authentic Chinese cuisine. The shredded chicken was very tough and difficult to eat. The chow mein noodles seemed like plain boiled noodles with a bit of sauce and an excessive amount of vegetables, which made the dish quite unpleasant and irritating to eat. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

05/05/2025: Ci è stato consigliato dal nostro hotel, ma le aspettative non sono state pienamente soddisfatte. La cameriera ha sbagliato la comanda delle bibite e ci ha rifiutato il caffè perché aveva già pulito la macchina (ma non era tardi, anzi c'erano ancora diversi altri clienti). Il cibo però è buono, anche se non troppo curato. Il pub attaccato, in fin dei conti, sarebbe stato più interessante.

16/04/2025: Nous sommes allés du côté pub pour prendre un dessert. L’ambiance est fort agréable et le service sympathique. Les desserts étaient très bons, nous avons passé un super moment 😊
