The best restaurants

08/01/2025: Oh, dear readers, allow me to write with righteous indignation and a noble pen an event that is at once a test of my patience and a proof of the inadequacies of our time! My noble intention that day was to enjoy a well-deserved cup of coffee in another house, a place that - as it turned out - no longer offers its services. What a disappointment! Closed, irretrievably removed from my noble anticipation. But not all was lost, because my path led me to the establishment that resides in a hotel - a place that, I must admit, proved to be extremely worthy. Spaciously designed, with plenty of space to avoid coming into contact with the common masses, this place offered an ambience that seemed appropriate for a gentleman like me. With due dignity, I ordered a cappuccino and had it handed to me at my seat. But oh, oh, what an unheard-of mishap revealed itself to my sharp eyes: there was a remnant on the cup that was not my own - an unspeakable mark of lipstick! A sight that caused a wave of indignation in me. How can such a lack of care be tolerated in such a revered place? This, I tell you without hesitation, is an outrage against the art of hospitality! After all, and this should be said in fairness, the coffee itself turned out to be quite tasty and satisfying. Despite the faux pas, I will probably give this place a second chance in the hope that my criticism will be taken into account and the honor of this establishment restored. A rating of 3 out of 5 stars may seem harsh, but it is also an expression of my hope that improvement is possible.

23/08/2024: Charged €6.50 for a really tiny piece of what subsequently proved to be yesterday's cheesecake,( ie it was so stale) to take away!!

28/10/2024: Cute store with lots variety in sweets and ice creams. We opted for the pic ‘n mix. Lots sweets sold from large jars by weight. Was busy always a good sign.

07/07/2024: Nice, local ice cream shop. They have vegan options as well.

15/08/2024: Great service and a very nice staff could not have been nicer to my group of thirty five that showed up out of the blue.

25/09/2024: Excellent drink at all times. No better pint in the area.
