18/04/2025: Very poor experience today (18th April 2025) at 13:15. My wife and I went in to order subs and weren’t even asked what size we wanted — the staff member just made footlongs when we only wanted 6”. We said we only wanted one toasted, and she toasted both anyway. When we asked for the meal deal, we were told only soft drinks were included. We wanted coffee and were told we’d have to go to the other side of the shop and pay extra — came to an extra €7 just for two coffees. Absolute rip-off. The garage owns the Subway and could easily include this in the meal deal price. On top of that, when I asked her to scan my loyalty app, she tried once and just said, “It’s not working,” with no apology or further attempt. She was rude and completely unfriendly throughout. Shocking customer service — we won’t be returning.

30/01/2025: A very nice and cosy place I believe everyone must experience. Even though it mostly had old people but they were too nice and welcoming. I got the chance to have a chat with multiple kind ladies and brilliant old men. They were very warm and curious to know about life stories. One man even said a prayer for us which was such a nice experience. I wish the very best of luck to this small community initiative by the pastor.

21/05/2025: The drinks were great, the BAR needs new stools, we felt like 10 year olds sitting at the bar; reaching up for our drinks.

01/06/2025: This bar is amazing, you think it's a small bar but it is unbelievably massive as you walk through all the wee rooms and alleys, big beer garden, can't wait to return, will definitely be my 1st call next time I'm in Donegal town. Highly recommend.

06/05/2025: Had a great time, here. It's attached to McCafferty's (?), so it's much bigger inside than it appears. Beer is reasonable and service was great. The musicians were really good. Get here early, find a seat, and don't leave. This place gets packed.

26/10/2025: We had Seoul Kitchen in St. Anne’s Park before and really liked it. Came to Priory Market for late dinner and the guy that served us definitely did not want to be there, had a facial expression of “why are ordering from me” all the way through and just rude in general. Said we had to wait 20 mins for the food which was fine, we sat in front of the stand to wait and even when the food was ready he didn’t even bother to let us know!!! We had to go up to ask, only to realise it was already ready. Presentation was nothing like we had before, it was as if the food was just dumped into a bowl for a kid. Bulgogi was way too salty (couldn’t finish even though I was starving) and Dakalbi was just as awful. Really sad as we had great experience in St. Anne’s park but debating if ever want to give it another chance.

11/10/2025: LOVE the food hubby drove for 30 mins(1 way) to get 3 half n half. They wouldn't take cash 🤦‍♀️WT... heck. What small business turns down...BUSINESS?? 🤷‍♀️ Really disappointing.

18/11/2025: Kip of a pub so many great pubs in mountrath don't know why people go in here the only people in their are dirty aul lads. Ya go out to smoking area at the back the smell of urine would turn ya off your fag. The people who work in their can't pull a pint to save their lives. Their is better pubs with better pints and facilities to spend your money in

18/05/2025: My family and I have been in the area for the past two weekends from Belfast because we have a sick relative in Beaumont. The food, the service and the whole atmosphere has been a haven for us! Amazing spot!
