22/10/2025: One of the best coffee drink in Ireland.

14/06/2026: The worst dinner I have experienced in my life after coming regularly for 7 months. It was lumpy mash, hard roasted potatoes, salty ham, watery gravy soggy cabbage, and disintegrated carrots. And the man cutting the meat is rude, ignorant and good for nothing, he needs to learn manners and respect. Will not return until the food changes and he is no longer an employee.

17/03/2026: Got fish n chip, was nice but there was TISSUE underneath the fish, soaking in grease and sticking to it. So I basically ate paper from trees and now my pores are clogged. A bit stupid to put paper underneath grease huh? Also the fish was smaller than the last time we had got it, and to mention, my folks said that the tartar sauce is NOT tartar sauce and they’ve lived to see all great wonders. They know their stuff. Also more atmosphere! It’s very quiet, no music nor any buzz, close very early at 11. CMON

16/02/2025: They don't sell donuts! Don't go this location! I drove here and a staff told me that they are not selling anything here and he told me to go shops.

08/03/2025: I ordered a custom birthday cake. It was last minute and they accomodated me. So grateful they did, as the cake Thunders made was amazing! It was not only fun and awesome to look at, it tasted delicious! Thank you so much Thunders, you really helped make this 18th Birthday special! Try the Red Velvet cake, it's delicious!

03/09/2024: Terrible cake, terrible customer service. Aoife should be ashamed of her lack of customer service. Worst think Mardi ever did was link in with this crowd.

29/06/2026: Had an amazing night on Friday all thanks to Mags! The service was lovely and Mags was great craic. The smoking area is amazing with a pool table and seats. Would highly recommend!! Thanks so much Mags!! - Sarajane and Ross

24/11/2024: We got the Lighthouse to do catering in our home for a Christening and we would highly recommend Mary and co. The food was fabulous and all our guests commented on how lovely it was. There is a great choice on offer, and from ordering to delivery, the service is seamless! It was great coming back from the church and having the food all set up ready to go! We will definitely order again!

16/09/2024: Thank you Mary & Sal for the excellent service in the catering business, I have used the Lighthouse for serval occasions and have no hesitations in giving the highest compliments for the food, service and friendliness. I highly recommend their chicken curry, beef stroganoff, potato gratin and pasta dishes with meat balls and side salads.

27/06/2025: pub is basically closed for renovations. Local shop keeper told me pub hatch opens very occassionally for take aways. So don't be surprised if you come here and its closed.

11/10/2025: Overpriced, chips were absolutely not “cooked twice” and chicken wings extremely fatty. I also ordered two portions of chips and they only delivered one.

01/07/2025: nice hot chocolate, good coffee, AND they sell duck food. and all the ducks know and wait and it's so cute :) benches by the water right beside the trailer
