The Welcome Inn Bar

29/05/2025: People describe this pub as the main pub in ballybay. And while yes I can see what people like about it. The beer garden is nice, the gigs are pretty good and the staff are very friendly. I guess my only complaint is it is quite a small pub. And the beer garden seems to be always opened so if it is bad weather it can make the place not as enjoyable. And for how busy the pub can get seating can be difficult to find. But overall a very good pub! I would go there again! (Also thanks to the staff for keeping my hoodie safe when I left it at the place by accident)

26/08/2024: Nicely decorated with art. Had a whiskey sour here and it was not great, watery and bland. They weren’t serving food on a Sunday night around 10:00 PM, not surprising but would have been nice if they had longer hours given they are a hotel based restaurant. Oh well.

No detail was a hassle for wendy from start to finish.The cake was absolutely stunning and tasted devine .I would highly recommend Wendy for any cakes going forward a pleasure to deal with 🙂
