Groundwork Coffee Co.
Celbridge
06/10/2023: Dropped in to buy beans and got a quick mini tour of the roastery !Lovely knowledgeable staff ..Best coffee bean bang per buck in Ireland !So many places selling same-ish beans and/or charging a fortune to get the advertised flavours /notes .Whatever it says on tasting notes on the bag you’re getting ! ALSO …the freshness is like I haven’t tasted since the much missed Baobab cafe /roasters who traded on their freshness .Coffee like this (under a few weeks since roasting) seems to have some kind of extra magic ,like an alternative /parallel ‘caffeine’ which gives you a boost without the jitters/shakes !!!I think I’ve found my new favourite roastery !

23/08/2023: Same as previous reviews. Got a fish and chips and a potato pie. Fish and chips were only and the portion of chips was VERY small. Potato pie was very tasty. Staff very friendly.

Kebab Express

11/09/2023: I ordered a kebab at 1am before my flight for little kid , the kebab was delivered 30minutes late , the meat was raw , the kebab had no bread/wrap , if you have common sense don’t order from here
26/08/2023: I ordered a mixed grill kebab from Kebab Express in Letterkenny on Friday night. The kebab was delivered to my home within 30 minutes, but when I opened the box, I was disappointed to find that the lamb was really chewy and it was drowning in sauce. I had to pick out most of the sauce because it was too much. I also found that the kebab was quite small for the price of €8.50.
I'm not sure if the lamb was not cooked properly or if it was just a bad batch, but it was definitely not enjoyable to eat. The sauce was overpowering, and it completely masked the flavor of the meat.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience at Kebab Express. I was excited in trying out their kebabs but would rather suggest sticking to the tried and tested kebab places.

Earl's Deli
Dublin
22/10/2023: Service is very good, but there are no adequate food options, especially no hot meals at all. As it is the only place to eat in this area of the campus, it is very sad and a wasted opportunity for the service provider.
The place also stays closed during summer, which makes no sense because the area is still full of researchers and other staff.
