09/03/2025: A MUST TRY restaurant when you visit Cobh, the foods are delicious and affordable, cozy ambiance and very approachable staff., Highly recommended to try the Baked Lasagna👍🏻 its one of the best., the dessert is great as well., If you plan to visit Cobh please do consider to the harbor grill located at the ground floor of Commodore Hotel👍🏻

18/06/2025: Niall Fahy has removed his garage "N84 Car Sales" from Google Maps due to all the positive reviews I'm guessing. He is now calling himself "Castle View Motors" on Facebook. "STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE" WILL NOT STAND BY HIS WORD so do not believe anything he says. Reading these other reviews I feel very glad that I only lost a few hundred euro of a deposit when I decided not to proceed with the sale of the vehicle. I did try everything I could to get my fully refundable deposit back from Niall as agreed but he refused to return my money. He was also too much of a coward to answer any of my calls and would only communicate via text message. People like this should be put out of business and not be taking business from other trust worthy people in the industry.

02/06/2025: Christine was able to fit us in at relatively short notice and produced a beautiful and delicious cake. The birthday girl was delighted and all our guests commented on how lovely the cake was. Only crumbs left! I would certainly recommend to others and will be getting all my occasion cakes from Christine in future

05/08/2025: When staying in Traceys Hjtel I had a beer and lunch in Timbertoes. The food was good, perfectly happy with it, but nothing exceptional. I liked the way you pay at the bar for food and drink in advance and then you don't have to wait for a bill. Plenty varied nenu to be fair but the helpings were a bit small to feed a hungry man unfortunately.

16/07/2025: Nice old style decor, a good vibe in the evening with love music, prices average, only down side is the very slow service at the bar, even with three staff on duty, staff are friendly but need to speed up their service.

09/10/2023: Fast delivery, food is amazing! My husband loves meat sung and this one is best in town. I had General Tso and it was very tasty! Spend 50€ got free prawn crackers, free bottle of 7up and gift of salt and chili chicken ! It made our evening thank you ! :)

22/04/2025: I recently visited the pub, and I was genuinely impressed. Lee a man of many talents waiter, barman, and chef and somehow excels at them all. His warm hospitality, quick service, and absolutely delicious food made the experience unforgettable. The aquarium, in particular, adds a unique and calming touch it’s not something you’d expect in a pub, but it works beautifully. The only down side to the night was when he seduced my wife into the kitchen and done her but he put on an episode of family guy for me to watch while I was waiting thought that was proper sound. Would highly recommend

02/01/2025: Wife and I were out for the night, she was all dressed up and hoping to get ploughed. Found this fine establishment but unfortunately, Lee got there first. The wife got rode red raw in the cleanest jax she said she's ever seen. Enjoyed the nachos but I had to take two stars off because the telly showed the Irish lad getting kicked out of the darts and it was awful noisy in the place. Could have done with some live music. It was hard going alternating between the racket from the kitchen, the bathroom and the wife. Lee is some man, gave me a commemorative singing fish to take home.

12/12/2024: I had eaten a few days ago and I enjoyed the dinner. But today, unfortunately, lunch was terrible. Dry bread, too burnt! Unfortunately I couldn't finish my lunch. During these days that I'm staying in the hotel I'll eat elsewhere!

19/09/2024: Fabulous service, lovely staff and the food was exceptional. We would go again without a doubt. I will recommend and come again.

28/09/2024: This cafe was our saving grace, we were staying in a local hotel but the hotel food was terrible so we found this hidden gem, the girls were so lovely and honestly couldn’t fault anything we even stoped in on our way home to pick up some apple pies, keep up the good work, if we ever find ourselves back in Cootehill you will be our first stop!

08/08/2024: The side street cafe is a lovely spot to visit and would recommend to friends and family! The staff here are lovely and very attentive even when the place is very busy. They have a great menu with a great mix of dishes! They also have a nice selection of deserts and smoothies! Very reasonable prices too!
