18/10/2024: Amazing place to go for dinner. Family friendly. Reasonable priced. Good selection of food.

27/07/2024: I went to The Arlo with my husband and in-laws for a Saturday lunch. The table was dirty and extremely sticky. A smell of urine was very strong in the restaurant as well. When our drinks were brought the waiter tossed the pints on the table like she was doing us a favour. My in-laws ordered fish and chips and husband a burger. They were great. However, I ordered the pasta of the week: Carbonara What I received was an extremely over cooked fusilli pasta with fresh cream and chicken. Really? The worst carbonara I've ever had in my whole life.Well, I cannot call that dish Carbonara. Absolutely disgusting l I do not recommend this place

03/10/2024: Lovely bar, superbly decorated and some magnificent gaa photos. Beautiful outdoor space with Bluetooth speakers. The staff are super friendly and accommodating.

20/07/2025: I asked for a mint tea and the man who works here tried to give me a liquorice and mint tea. When I asked if it was plain peppermint he said "it's a good one." I had to check the label as I knew it did not look like pure mint tea. Respectfully, liquorice is quite a strong taste and I did not want liquorice tea but I felt he was trying to get away with selling it to me. He also handled the teabag with his bare hands, which I found unhygienic.

23/06/2025: Tucked away on the southbound platform at Pearse DART station, Sobo is a little coffee shop with an old-school coffee machine that caught my eye during the morning rush. I grabbed a flat white on the go, but honestly, it wasn’t the best – a bit underwhelming in taste. Surprisingly, they also sell a few travel essentials like snacks, drinks, and even last-minute items I wouldn’t expect to find at a train station kiosk. It’s clearly designed for commuters – opens early and seems to run until late. Prices are surprisingly reasonable considering it’s in a busy train station – not overpriced at all. While it’s definitely a quick stop (no seating, grab-and-go), it’s still handy for anyone catching the train or passing through

14/06/2025: Lovely quiet pub, Guinness is one of the best. Staff are more than accommodating. Definitely worth a drink.
