11/12/2023: I booked Joy's Kitchen for my daughter's christening for 18 people - Joy was easy to contact provided menu ideas and made any changes requested. The food was amazing not your standard Indian food this is homemade authentic and absolutely delicious you can tell the hardwork gone into this. 5 stars

16/05/2025: Ordered a wrap at the deli and was told it would be brought down to me at the table as they were going to toast it. I waited 10 min and decided to walk up and enquire as it should only take a couple of minutes to toast an item. They still had it toasting and the staff member was no longer there. They served it to me burnt to a crisp. Will not be returning.

11/03/2025: Myself and my partner popped in here yesterday and ordered 2 oat flat whites and asked to get them in takeaway cups-the guy proceeded to make them..and charged €8.80 for them both.. At this point my partner was gone over to sit down while reading some magazines.. One of the coffees was ready 1st so I decided to drop it over to my partner..at this point a female member of staff rudely interrupted and informed us we were not alllowed to drink our coffees in takeaway cups on the premises..and on seeing my partners face of shock she said she,d make an exception this once and we could sit down.. I’ve travelled all over the world and always order the exact same coffee in a takeaway cup as I prefer my coffee this way.it has never been a problem any where else. We drank our coffees feeling very unwelcome and decided against staying for any longer we decided to ask the young guy at the counter who served us a little bit more about this strange policy as we honestly could make head nor tail of it.we asked him was there a price difference between the take away and a sit in coffee and he confirmed there wasn’t he didn’t know what the reason for this was just that it’s company policy.i kindly requested maybe putting up some signs in regards this policy to avoid other people getting embarrassed and left feeling like we did. As we existed to leave the previously mentioned female member of staff came out of the back and started waving and smiling..it was very strange we then went out the door and took the corner to go around the building while looking back in she was still waving her hands all over the place looking at us in the only way I can describe it was jeering at us..neither of us have ever experienced such bad customer service anywhere and will never be back for more of this. Great coffee pity about the customer service.

07/08/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed the food, we stayed in Dingle for three nights and had dinner here twice, which says how much we loved the food. All dishes we tried were simply delicious especially the Cajun Hake and the Irish brown bread, after which I couldn’t be happy with those I got anywhere else in Ireland except a small place in Fanore. I highly recommend the food and hope to go back soon!

30/07/2025: Great place to eat while visiting Dingle! Delicious food with reasonable prices, friendly service and the dessert is the best we’ve had so far! Highly recommend!

22/01/2024: Service with a smile. Came In here once to escape the chills of winter, but with nice stools and counters to have your coffee or hot chocolate at, I've come back time and time again. Great drinks at great prices with the woman who works here always coming across as kind and approachable.

19/11/2023: Excellent coffee in a shop packed with interesting wines and a great range of quality fancy foods. Lovely staff too.

29/10/2024: Went into your shop in the morning and there was a blonde woman behind the deli...... I asked for sausage rolls but when opening the sausage rolls when I went outside there was two and half sausage rolls in the bag so I proceeded to go inside and confront the woman on this mistake.. the woman behind the counter proceeded to laugh at me and tell me the sausage rolls were all in it making me out to be a lier !!!! This is unexceptable wouldn't advise getting them cause they are trying to chance there arms and not give you what you payed for !!! I also gave the sausage rolls back after I payed for them to make a point that I wasn't just saying it and I acc seen the other half of the sausage roll in the deli when I went in no customer service at all only got pastry was very upset over this incident

22/09/2025: Absolutely outstanding! The food was nothing short of amazing – the dishes we got were beautifully presented and packed with incredible flavour. You can tell real care goes into every meal. The staff were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. This is 5-star food with 5-star service – can’t recommend it highly enough!

16/10/2025: Wedding Venue of our dreams!! Wow! I can’t recommend the Avalon highly enough! Laura is a phenomenal wedding organiser who listens to your vision and brings it to life! She feels like a friend straight away who is fully invested in the day! Peter and Laura then make sure the day runs perfectly, remaining calm and positive throughout! The Avalon is the perfect place for a private wedding where you are the priority for the whole hotel! They could not have been more supportive! I can’t thank them enough for the most perfect day! All of our guests loved it commenting on the gorgeous food, friendly staff and homely rooms!

07/10/2025: Good overnight accommodation near Kilkenny. Parking was free. The bathroom cleanliness could be improved. Special thanks to the two lovely young ladies at breakfast. I can recommend the hotel.
