12/10/2025: Typical hotel bar, not a lot of atmosphere but they do have a few screens for sports. They have a cocktail menu but told me that they were missing an ingredient so couldn't do any cocktail on the menu, one of which was a Sidecar =
Hennessy, Cointreau & Lemon Juice, all ingredients can be seen from the bar🤔🤷♂️😂😂 btw this was to be my second drink for which the first was a pint of carlsberg, so it wasn't due to me having too many
06/08/2025: Lovely bar staff friendly and efficient. Food is OK. Pricey enough to be honest. Chicken Supreme is Not what you get in most places. It came with gravy jug rather than a mushroom sauce. Very handy for proximity to luas for transport to town. 1 big fault though - ladies toilet was flooded weeks ago and still not repaired.Sttill it's a nice place but hard to determine it's star rating.

All their cakes and in particular their protein balls and just out of this world . There is no way you have had a nicer protein ball anywhere else!! The girls are lovely- great for the chats!!
Have ordered birthday boxes and cookie boxes aswell- so fresh and tasty!!

13/05/2026: Hi guys, trust me if you are anywhere close to the wonderful town of mullingar, this lovely Pub is definitely a must. Today was my second time in the pub.
The atmosphere , the friendlies of the Staff , and most of all is a great pint of Guinness.

22/10/2023: Don’t eat here it gave me food poisoning from what I did eat.. Meat was sour and guac was definitely from frozen not fresh at all.. really really disappointing
21/10/2023: I am going to be honest, it was really dissapointing. The salsa was sour and tasted gone off, and vinegar ish.. had to actually spit it out - that’s how bad it was . The “guacamole” wasn’t actually guacamole, it was a creamy, very obviously store bought avocado dressing/dip. Not nice at all. Although the worker was an absolute sweetheart. Wont be back again.

The Cottage Bar
04/09/2025: The portions are pretty big for little money. The fries weren’t that great because they were too oily but it was okay. The rest was really good. There ist breakfast all day and the service is very nice. Also when I was there there was a small dog that was very cute and friendly. Would recommend
