The best restaurants

16/01/2025: I had the best night celebrating my 40th at the Birdcage in December, everything from music,food, service was excellent, highly recommend this venue for private functions!!

12/10/2025: I have never felt so flabbergasted in the way I have just been spoke to by the lady working there tonite I stopped off on my way home from work.... I gave in my order chicken wings pizza & gbread ....just as the pizza was going in the box's I saw my pizza fall to the floor these things happene I understand but as I was handing back the chicken asking for it to be kept warm the lady behind the counter starts shouting at me saying iam doing that now just leave it in the bag I was taken back at her agressvie tone and told her not to be so rude there is no need speak to me like that and I know u may be stressed but there's no need to speak like that her reply iam not stressed and she countiuend shouting about how she was going to take the food to warm it even thou it had sat in the bag ready for 20 min before hand To be honest I didn't even enjoy the pizza the base wasn't cooked and the chicken tender were over cooked but cold the way I was treated turn me right off ever going back .the customer service is absolutely awful never again ...I would have been better to just come home and throw on a pizza it I would have saved my self the bother of having to be shout at and disrespected....

01/04/2024: Not as good as it used to be. I had the hot turkey joint in a roll with chips. Used to come with a bit of coleslaw on the side but I was told that is an extra 2.95 now. Last bit of turkey joint and server sliced it to bits to try fill roll. Chips used to be fresh, now overcooked and stale sitting under heat lamp. Wouldn't order again. Pity as hot dinners still look good and generous portion. Person before me got dinner with two decent slices of turkey. Avoid the sandwiches/rolls.

28/11/2025: I got an americano here after eating at another vendor. The staff was unattended and when staff did arrive they were not friendly. The coffee was good.

24/07/2025: Ordered flat white with almond milk and tasted like the milk is gone off and burnt. Asked for an americano instead, and gave me a very weak americano😅 customer service was horrible aswell.

25/10/2025: helpful staff, explained the reusable cup policy to me and then refunded my €2 when I returned it. There was a bit of a queue ahead of me but the staff were very efficient so I wasn't waiting long. Some extra seating might be good.

13/07/2025: Nice pub, sunday night live music! We only drank, no food

18/03/2025: Was in Rowleys Yesterday (Paddys day) and the Manager on the day a blonde woman Stefanie was so rude she asked a 13 yr old to move over very rudely and because he didn't move quick enough for her and looked at her wrong she says " Why you looking at me like that" then proceeds to tell him your getting thrown out and brings security to take him out HE 13 YEARS OF AGE. And also says to another person who was with us as he just walked in "Hope your not gonna cause trouble" and let me put this here too both boys were of certain colour. Shocking treatment from her she is in the wrong job if she can't handle the pressure. Other than that pub is lovely food great service was great.

01/08/2025: Servicio muy amable como Gaeilge y en Inglés. Tomó nuestros pedidos a pesar IT era la hora de cierre a las 5 pm. Deliciosas hamburguesas y pescado. Buena relación calidad-precio y hermosa ubicación

14/04/2025: Great menu choices, the roast beef was delicious, kids menu varied and service was good. Enjoyed the cocktails and desserts to. Really nice overall and small playground out the front was enjoyed by the kids too

25/04/2025: We landed in the evening and wanted to grab something to eat and it was great! Nice music, nice staff and delicious food. Top!!!

11/02/2024: Popped into Home Bakery after a long walk & could not resist a triangular choc cake as well as a caramel shortbread. Enjoyed both, esp the former, which was moist & chocolatey. The caramel on the shortbread was sticky & chewy & both treats felt decadent! They were both pretty pricey though, at more than 2 euros per slice. Home Bakery is unavoidable when in Dundalk, so the best thing to do is just to give in & worry about the diet later 😁

20/03/2024: I am very happy with the work they did for me perfectly, they are very good and moreover the staff is kind and respectable, they are determined and precise in their work (they don't leave even a little thing out of place). I will definitely call them again next time and recommend it to you too.

16/01/2025: Really wanted to get a coffee here, but saw the staff vaping indoors 🤢 I thought maybe it's a one time thing but every time I've thought of going there's just always someone vaping
