09/02/2026: Bad experience! A person smoking outside the front of the building in front of staff. This is a service station! Totally unacceptable and very dangerous.

25/11/2025: Ate dinner here while we were staying at the hotel and we had a fab meal. All of the food was tasty and we would recommend the Prawn and Salmon Starter, Sausages and Mash and Seafood Linguini. Also it was great to try a few cocktails from the menu which was quite extensive and reasonably priced drinks. It was a family member's birthday the night we ate here and the team all got involved in bringing out the cake and singing happy birthday which was a lovely touch and really appreciated.

25/05/2026: I just have to complain about the portion size of the tray they give you. Half the tray size when I received it plus it was very watery green curry. Very disappointed. Need to get their act together or people will lose interest in this place. It also came out very fast, meaning chef mick cooked it

15/05/2026: Me and my friend recently visited Zaiqa Roscommon, and honestly, we found it to be the best among all the Zaiqa branches we’ve tried so far. I’ve also visited the ones in Tullamore, Ballinasloe, and Galway, and I would definitely rank Zaiqa Roscommon as No.1, followed by Galway at No.2. Their manager (Mr. Sajid) & staff, especially the one who took our order (Mr. M.Ishtiaq), they were all extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. The food was absolutely up to the mark, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. They even brought us an extra dish that we hadn’t ordered and offered it complimentary, which was such a lovely gesture. And the tea was amazing — it truly reminded me of the tea back home in Pakistan. Everything, including the environment around us, also the lovely music were so good & the experience was superb, especially the behaviour and hospitality of the staff, which I believe matters the most. Highly recommended!

15/04/2026: We recently had the good fortune to meet Alan and experience the amazing hospitality at the Otter when visiting on a 3 generational girls trip. The first night was a local potluck of sorts and we were invited to join. We didn’t have anything to share but that was no bother! The other patrons were also extremely friendly and so we went back for the music on Sunday. What talent! Complete with 3 pub dogs and good beer on tap, the Otter is not to be missed. We will surely recommend it to friends if they ar etraveling in the area and it’s also a good reason to to back to Ireland :)

28/11/2025: Had the best time. Shoutout to Mia and her father. The Otter Bar was a highlight of my trip while traveling Ireland. We originally stopped in for a bite to eat but ended up getting take out delivered to the bar from another village. “The people of Inistioge are hungry!” I’ll cherish the memories. Spice bags and Sláinte!

22/12/2025: Went for movie with kids...was provided required support we asked ..Cinema was good in space, might require bit ventilation and kids food was also in good quantity.

16/12/2025: I really like my hometown cinema. Nice and small, with 6 screens and good movies. Just the popcorn are very very salty, don't give them to kids

03/10/2025: A lovely spot for tea and a pastry! They have a variety of sweets and loaves of bread for purchase, as well as some sandwiches that come out around lunch time.

11/10/2025: We had a wonderful meal here with two daily specials. The young lady who waited our table was delightful and the food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Excellent Irish Coddle

14/06/2026: Only visited hotel for selection night for the Westmeath Rose 🌹. Unfortunately didn't get to stay on this occasion.

08/03/2026: Shocking service, a few weeks ago i was minding my neighbours kids and she told me she would order a pizza to my house for them. When the pizza arrived which she had already paid for, I was charged again and paid cash with tip. The next day I visited the restaurant, and told them I was charged again. They wanted me to message my neighbour and ask her if she had paid, I was embarrassed to do so. I told them fhe exact order and time the call was made.. they did have a record of this but still wanted me to embarrass my neighbour also. Had to show them the message from her as if I was trying to do them for 34 euro pizza and chips. They were quite rude initally and no apology was offered, It was like I was putting them out because the order was paid for twice. Mistakes happen, fine but then to be so rude and I had to battle to get a 34 euro refund. Shocking unprofessional service, they way they handled the situation was a joke. No apology from staff, or the manager, he didn't even come over to apologise.

20/12/2025: I have to post an update to my previous review. Our latest visit to Supermacs was a completely different, and wonderful, experience. The staff were far friendlier and more attentive than before. But what truly made our day was an act of kindness that went above and beyond. My son, who is autistic, was trying to open the door to the stairs. A staff member (a lovely female employee whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) didn't just open the door—she kindly and safely carried him up the stairs herself. This simple act of kindness has changed my view.

18/12/2025: Were there on a Sunday night. Guy behind the bar was very pushy for us to order two wing deals when we only wanted one to start with. We overheard him instruct the kitchen staff to make our buffalo wing portion extra, extra spicy, and that we had asked for that - we hadn't - and called us names to the kitchen staff that I won't repeat here. He clearly didn't realise we could hear him, he did seem a bit drunk. I regularly eat very hot sauces with Carolina Reaper or ghost chilli, but the portion we got was extremely hot and borderline inedible. Not blaming the kitchen staff at all, they seemed like they didn't want to make the dish so spicy, but the bar man pushed them to do it. When we asked him if he had ordered them extra hot for us he made up some BS story about other customers complaining that they used to be too mild, and that's why they are now hotter, etc. Very disrespectful and hostile way to treat your customers. None of us will ever be back.

30/11/2025: Lovely vibe! Not much of loud music soo if you want to get together with friends and have conversations over a pint, definitely the place!

24/05/2026: 3 of us arrived for lunch. Place was very busy. For some reason our order didn't make it to the kitchen and we waited for ages. However, staff couldn't have been better. They apologised, food arrived and was excellent. Good save.

13/05/2026: Great staff and service. Coffe is ok. Unfortunately, the food portions have decreased in size and quality☹️
