14/12/2024: Awful stale food. Won't be ordering from them again.

04/11/2024: I was really disappointed with the service this evening. I was told my order would be ready for pickup at 5:50 pm, but I ended up waiting in the shop until 6:15. The place was packed with other unhappy customers, all waiting well past their pickup times. The most frustrating part was that no one from the staff acknowledged the delay or apologized. They just kept taking more orders, even though they were clearly overwhelmed. To make matters worse, the quality of the order itself was disappointing. The duck was mostly fatty skin, and the side portion of massaman curry barely filled a quarter of a small container—it wasn’t enough to cover even a small portion of the noodles I ordered. As a regular customer, I've come to expect better from Camile, but after this experience, I’ll be looking elsewhere for Thai food and better customer service. UPDATE: An employee from Camile Shankill got in touch with me to offer an apology for the poor service on the night and provided me with credit for the full amount of the order I had placed. I always think it is a good customer experience when the restaurant actually care about poor reviews and make an effort to contact the customer to resolve the issue and offer an apology and/or explanation. For that reason I have changed the rating to a positive one which is more reflective of my usual experience with Camile Shankill.

16/12/2024: Never visit if you are Indian. Will never like it , it's not even near to Indian authentic food. You will hate the Taste , 10 euros for 2 small samosas and spring roll, samosa is stuffed with dry potato curry. Not worth it , didn't like the service as they didn't look at you when you are servered. No proper servicing. You might like if you are Irish. But for Indians not a worth spending money. Not good taste.

01/01/2025: If you value authentic Indian, please stay away from here. I was left sitting for an hour waiting for my order that had been placed online with no explanation or apology. The food itself was truly not nice. How do you mess up butter chicken? Really just cream. 5 pieces of 'tandoori' chicken (just regular cooked chicken, blackened) in the most watery sauce with weak anaemic flavour. I'm such a fan of Indian cuisine and chose this for my final meal of 2024. Super disappointed and will not be returning here. Spent €60 for 2 starters and 2 mains with sides and honestly, cannot justify it whatsoever. Find a Coriander restaurant and go there, trust me!

18/11/2024: Went here for their Sunday buffet, 14.95 euros which was a good price. The starters included tikka on the bone, battered vegetables and salad and was lovely. The mains included chicken korma, vegetarian curry, lamb and also chicken, with pilau rice. We had good portions and the food was lovely. The staff were very pleasant too. Definitely recommend a visit.

17/12/2024: Review for parents with babies: We had so much fun at afternoon tea. We went with our 8 month old who loves food and were delighted that they have Stokke Tripp Trapp high chairs instead of the dinky, uncomfortable ones most restaurants are using. Baby was happy to sit in it for almost the entire time and eat / play with his food. We gave him bits off the vegetarian sandwiches which we ordered after the standard ones (since it is unlimited). He got avocado, Tomato, cauliflower, beets, cucumber and was happy with that. As any parent of an 8 month old will know, getting baby to sit still and relaxed for almost 2 hours is a win in itself. Food was nice, tea and coffee was great. A family next to us had a 4 month old baby sleeping in a pram so definitely baby friendly.

12/09/2024: The Gallery and the service was truly outstanding and a great reflection of the Westbury hotel. And because of that, I had really high expectation for high tea and unfortunately was a bit disappointed. What I did love - you could truly spend the whole afternoon here and I appreciated that the tea was unlimited and that you could switch flavours. The sandwiches and scones could also be refilled. I also really loved the scones! They were my favourite food item. What I was disappointed with and especially for the price and again, what I expected of from this hotel was the food selection. The scones were my fave, the chicken and the egg salad sandwiches weren’t bad, but the salmon and ham sandwiches were super plain. They just felt regular… The pastries were highlighted in a delightful way but the taste didn’t match the presentation. Again, not bad but just not great or special. Perhaps I should have moderated my expectations but I’ve definitely had better and less expensive high tea experiences. Would not go again personally.

09/12/2024: Bought a cappuccino this morning. It was cold and had so much froth I had to remove half the cup, I was half way to work otherwise I would have brought it back. Waste of money.
