The best restaurants

29/11/2025: Chef forgot to cook one of our main courses. Chips were cooked in oil possibly a week old. Waitress was more interested in being on her phone than looking after diners. An awful restaurant and terrible service. SHOCKING WITH A CAPITAL S. JUST AWFUL. AVOID . AVOID. AVOID.

06/10/2025: Visited with my family for my birthday. First Chinese since moving to Ireland last year. Food was great although rice side dishes were a little small. Staff were fantastic but the time between starts and main was quite long which was good for my 2 grandchildren.

05/11/2025: Great food!!! Great service and atmosphere!!! The place may not be fully prepared for really busy times e.g. Bank Holiday weekends

01/01/2025: Very disappointed! Food arrived an hour and 20 minutes after ordering. And when food arrived it was barely Luke warm. Order had said it was out for delivery 20 mins before it arrived and no apology from delivery just a happy new year. Very disappointed with this!

17/08/2025: So good we went twice! Lovely sitting outside and pet friendly. Friendly staff and good food.

12/08/2025: During a super busy breakfast rush I brought in my Elderly Mother after the Blessing Of The Graves, What i witnessed was the worst I ever experienced or saw in a restaurant all my life. Filthy, dangerous, and run by the rudest owner I’ve ever met. I stood there watching the chef hack up raw meat right beside fresh veg on the same board NO cleaning at all. That’s how people end up with food poisoning. The owner with black hair was just as bad rude, cold, and made me feel like I was a nuisance for even being there. I genuinely felt sorry for the young waiters, who looked overworked, stressed, and scared to make a mistake. Between the disgusting food handling, the toxic attitude, and the awful atmosphere, this place should be shut down.

28/10/2025: Chips not cooked properly. Had to put it in Airfryer. 4 in 1 a soggy mess . Binned it

22/08/2025: I really enjoyed my lunch here. There was a good choice of main courses. My chicken curry was tasty & the cabbage was great too. The Warbler & Wren coffee was delicious. If you bring your own mug of cofeee you get a 10% discount. It's very economical compared with many eateries in the vicinity, The dinning area is extensive and I enjoyed talking to some students eating lunch with me.

10/08/2025: It's advertised as open until 10:30am for breakfast. We went in at 09:55 and they had already stopped serving. We asked one of the staff, who was quite grumpy about telling us food was only served till 10. Went to Keoghs instead.

13/07/2025: We had a family group of 16 celebrating an 80th birthday here. The setting was lovely, and the service was solid, our single waiter handled the large group with care, was friendly, and got all the orders right, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. We all ordered from the main menu, and while the dishes varied, the general consensus was that the food was average at best. A particular letdown was the “seared lemon sole fillet” which turned out to be just deep-fried fish in batter, more like pub grub than the refined dish the menu description suggested. To her credit, the manager acknowledged our concerns and made adjustments to the bill, which we appreciated. Still, for a venue like this - a 4 start hotel, the kitchen needs to up their game. Nice atmosphere, good service , but the food fell short of the mark.

23/06/2025: Stayed in hotel and foot injury meant I had to stay in to dine one night. Both courses had elements described on the menu missing with no explanation. Veg overcooked. Bland food. Wish I had paid for a taxi into town instead. Staff were good.

25/08/2025: Pizza Margerrita was 10/10 great size and loads cheese, children were so happy. Thanks, we will be back.

16/11/2025: Litteralt no need to order food at home , when the delivery arrived the food was cold , and i ordere two cans of coke they only gave us 1 , and the oil is not changed and its giving the food smell like sheep

08/11/2025: Absolutely no point in ordering food online.Food ordered for 6.30 but wasn't ready until 6.45.Staff kept telling people like myself that had preordered food that their deliveries have to be done first. Very annoying!

31/05/2025: Some of the service was relatively lackluster, menus were dirty, and the restrooms and restaurant weren't particularly clean. The food was good, though. Gluten-free pizza and pasta available.

18/05/2025: We ate pasta there. Everything tasted like it was pre-made sauce with lots of garlic powder. The food wasn't good. The service was very friendly and nice, but very loud, as the dishes we ordered were constantly being called into the kitchen. The restroom was simply disgusting. It wasn't cleaned, it was incredibly dirty. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

09/08/2025: I’ve had countless burgers from, this place - it’s the takeaway I order most. The food is amazing but dear god FIX THE WEBSITE. Literally every time I order it’s like undergoing some kind of severe mental torture. The website often displays the restaurant as “not delivering” even when it is, or says that it is, and upon filling up your basket them doesn’t allow you to order. Nearly every time I use it there’s some kind of issue, and I say this as someone eating these delicious burgers for years. Please fix your broken website, first world problems and all but it shouldn’t be this hard to get a few burgers and chips delivered

24/07/2025: Ok straight up , we usually order smash burgers and they are ALWAYS amazing . Tonight we ordered for a change , curry chips and a hot chicken burger . The curry chips were amazing , probably the best ever. Just simply amazing as usual from Wingman - for a change we ordered the HotBird burger - it was not great , tbh a complete mess. wingman , drop this please , it’s not good . Will always use you guys again but this burger is not good

02/08/2025: Got a vegetarian kebab. There were pieces of meat in it. I returned to the shop, the staff were rude and disinterested, denied that it was chicken. Wouldn't give refund. Cost 10 euro. Terrible customer service.

01/08/2025: Service was ok, friendly staff and quick enough with the order, but very disappointed with the food itself. The "fresh" cod meal was nowhere near good enough. The batter on the cod just wasnt nice at all and left an awful after taste. Removed the batter and just tried the cod, but it had absolutely no flavour so i do not believe it was fresh. Chips were a decen size portion but just didn't taste nice at all. €14 for a meal that i had to throw out about 75% of it into the bin. Very disappointed overall.

10/11/2025: Had food poisoning Sunday after eating spice bag with curry sauce from this shop. Not sure what exactly caused this or chicken or curry sauce but got terrible diarrhoea and vomit 10 minutes later,temperature at late night and only 2 days later all gone after using medicines.

19/11/2025: Happy to buy pizza at Dominos Pizza - Dundalk, as usual very tasty!

15/11/2025: My 14 year old brother went into Dominos Dundalk today and a short worker with a mustache served him. My brother ordered a 12 euro pizza and my brother gave him a tenner and a fiver. The worker put the fiver into his pocket and tried to convince my brother that he didnt give him the fiver. His friends argued with the worker and none of the other approx 5 workers did anything. My brother had to give extra money in the end.
