31/01/2026: Very good service Naan breads well made but cold Tarka Dahl = so, so watery, & tasteless. Enjoyed starter veg platter. Cold venue, ambience non existent. Very , very disappointed & could not honestly recommend.

15/12/2025: Considering that the cook had no waiter to help him, he was really up to the task. Was a Monday evening so I guess they usually have more staff at hand. But the food was excellent. And we will surely come back for more.

07/03/2026: Don’t know if it’s me being too posh but tbh two hairs in the same Americano it’s just disgusting. They were inside the coffee obviously.

15/02/2026: Not for the first time I have gone into this place for a cup of coffee because it has seats and not for the first time the place is filthy once again. Empty tables everywhere but as usual with this place every table is left with dirty dishes and filthy tables and crumbs and rubbish on the floor around the tables and chairs. Won’t be back again

14/02/2026: Paid 19.50 for a large pizza... should it not highlight on the create your own pizza option that cheese needs to be added? No cheese and drizzle should be changed to drenched. Got sausage and mushroom with chilli and garlic drizzle. All sauce, scrimped on the toppings. A sausage piece per slice and no cheese. Absolutely vile and came cold too. Slop.

02/11/2025: Ordered at 4.20pm today (Sunday). After 90 mins waiting i called to ask how long it would be. They first asked was I sure I ordered from the right place. Then they discovered that apparently their printer wasn't working so my order wasn't being made. No apology and very poor attitude on the phone. No offer of compensation even an extra bag of chips for having to wait 2 hours for food!! Anywhere can have technical issues like the printer but thsts not my fault it didnt print and its how it was handled then that was the most disappointing. Would really put us off ordering there again.

27/01/2026: I came to this shop but they are closed and I waited more than 30 minutes till they open. Nobody on till ,you need to ask the butcher about them and they call then he comes. This is ridiculous and disgusting. I won't buy from them anymore. All halal shops around them are opened always from morning till evening.

20/10/2025: Very rude and unprofessional young sales assistant. No basic manners, no “thank you” or “please.” Left a very unpleasant impression. Manager should look into this.

20/10/2025: Was in Earls last weekend, I had a lovely sandwich and coffee made by the super staff. Big shout out to Tom who was very friendly and obliging. I’ll be back!

19/01/2026: Food was absolutely horrible. Southern fried chicken was uneatable, extremely dry and no flavour in the slightest. Only nice thing from the entire order was the stuffing. Worst takeaway I've ever had.

19/01/2026: As usual, I enjoyed the food I got however, I am very disappointed in the restaurant for having a troublesome employer. I was there on Saturday the 17th where one of your staff was abusive to another member of staff. From what I saw, he had anger issues and he blew up for what seemed to be no reason. I would definitely look into this as it made everyone there, including the customers, uncomfortable.

20/11/2025: Went in for a coffee this morning and kind of horrified at my experience. Barista used a jug with milk still in it from previous customer, didn't rinse it, so mixed fresh cold milk with already steamed milk. I can understand doing that MAYBE when in a rush and under pressure but there were no customers after me so no excuse for using dirty equipment and old milk. This is considered really bad practice and depending on how bad the cleanliness standard of the jugs are, possibly against HACCP if they are routinely letting the same milk be reheated over and over. After I very reluctantly took a sip of my coffee it wasn't very warm and I turned around and went back in, apologised and explained that my coffee wasn't very hot. I normally wouldn't complain about something like that but I was kind of hoping for a fresh coffee that was made with new milk and a clean jug, Barista apologised and to my absolute horror, poured my coffee in its entirety back into the dirty jug and steamed the coffee. This is terrible practice and my coffee tasted disgusting, couldn't drink it and had to throw it away. I thought maybe I was being dramatic so I told a friend and they were also horrified at the lack of standards for cleanliness and product quality.

19/11/2025: Disappointing! I was looking forward to have a lovely flat white and I went yesterday to order one. Barista was so slow and flat white was cold. I had to threw it away. Not worth it for 3.95 🤯

13/03/2026: Always love their singapore noodles (chicken) what i got the other nite was not the chicken i usually get!! I was not impressed if i wanted a spice bag i would have ordered that!! Noodles should not be served with breadded chicken!

28/02/2026: Been neglecting this Chinese. Little did I know it's the best one in the town. The best wings I've had and the wrappo's are 10/10. Food arrived piping hot 🔥

12/02/2026: Being using app say paid by card on app when get there they say haven't paid i have to pay again. Had to claim back from bank 28 day wait... If you order on pay you still charged processing fee when collecting.. Honestly rip off won't be going again zero local respect typical when not Irish. Won't last long with that attitude. Avoid

03/12/2025: WORST Fish I ever had - said it was fresh, like cardboard with a much fish as batter - also ordered sausages, almost the same. Tried to cover all with stale chips - €20.00 !!!

07/03/2026: I hate leaving a bad review, but this time I was dissapointed. Have ordered Dominos delivery and recieved my food cold, fries was cold, garlic bread and pizza was barely warm. Loved the website experience, it’s very nice to follow food preparation.

14/09/2025: Lovely restaraunt to grab a bite to eat. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the guys on duty had a great chat with us and gave my two lads a free 🎂.Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Kilkenny!

20/02/2026: I’m not one to write a negative review or anything of the sort but it’s beyond a joke now , Felicia , it’s gone over the line to be constantly made feel uncomfortable simple because of my orientation… I have been greeted on a night out with remarks in relation to it , on the streets after hours with remarks from you while in passing too now this evening to being given the middle finger from you’re store window as I was crossing over into centra while, I have tried to address this previously with you and once privately clearly a public approach to you’re views about me is the only way forward..

28/12/2025: The owner kindly opened up before opening hours to let my grandmother in to use the bathroom. She has mobility issues I thought it was really kind of the owner to do this! I will be back to sample the food thank you so much to the lovely owner

23/01/2026: The food was just fine overall. I was pretty disappointed with how watery the sauce was — I prefer it thicker and more gloopy, with a bit more bite and chew. Because it was so liquidy, it didn’t really mix well with the noodles, and it felt like there wasn’t much sauce clinging to them. The flavour was okay, but it mostly tasted like MSG — tasty enough in that classic takeaway way, but not much depth beyond that. Portion sizes were decent, though it could have used more noodles. It did the job, but nothing stood out, and I’ll probably be waking up very thirsty tomorrow morning. Overall, it was fine, just not something I’d rush back for. Pic of leftovers attached! Watery MSG juice.

17/10/2025: First time eating from this place never again. Rice was hard like it had being cooked ages ago. Got my food home to discover that there was no prawn crackers in the bag. The food was all ready eaten before they arrived with the prawn crackers.

23/11/2025: I am several years in the Republic of Ireland and few times I went to this bar. In general it's fine and today was quite disappointing experience. I ordered Bulmers cider and was served in a glass bottle and left in quiet part of pub to charge the mobile phone device and was enjoying atmosphere, beverage and didn't stay so long and bartender arrived and told me if I finished with Bulmers then needed to leave from premises even it was in my area only myself in pub. He wanted to took me a few mL of cider so I requested to enjoy next one minute and then left. Positive experience with several different occasions visit and today turned to bad experience.
