The best restaurants

16/01/2026: Poor customer service. Ordered a roast duckling with seasonings and spices from the starter section. After one taste, it was immediately clear that the dish was extremely salty. We returned to the shop straight away (we were still in the parking lot) with the food, and informed the staff that it was excessively salty. I also told them they were welcome to taste the dish themselves, as that was the reason I came back with the food. However, the staff refused to acknowledge the complaint or check the food. They insisted it was their “standard seasoning” and said we should specify “mild or strong” next time. There is no mention anywhere on the menu that spice or seasoning levels need to be specified. To be clear, the issue was not spice level — it was excessive saltiness, which made the dish inedible. Very disappointing response and lack of basic customer care. Will not be returning.

06/09/2025: This has to be one of the worst places to get takeaway. Their prices are high compared to other local Chinese. They don't even throw in a bag of prawn crackers free when spending nearly €30. Shocking. There's better in the locality.

30/08/2025: Got crispy chicken... it looked and tasted like it came from the frozen aisle in the supermarket.

07/01/2026: What else can I say only a 5 star experience from beginning to end. Came in here with the Monday blues with it being my first Monday back to work since the Christmas break. It was 4:30 and looked like they were beginning to close the place down. A young man bursts out of the kitchen and you could just tell he had a passion for his job. He explains that they usually start to close the place down around now but just for me he will stick something on. 5 minutes later he comes out with a piping hot sandwich which was delicious and a flat white with a swan as the latte art. Simply amazing and will definitely be back

19/01/2026: My hole family eat From this chipper, but Tony what are you doing my friend, I'm sorry but I have to write this,the food I got last night was disgusting,the pizza was so bad it jus pealed off the bread base,the chips were dry crisp an hard,the milk shakes was warm, and it took over a hour to deliver,do you kno what I did with it Tony,I gave it to my dog,I'm so sorry, your a good man, but it probably wasn't you,maybe ur on holidays or something, I hope you get to read this 💯.

21/02/2026: Went to the restaurant this morning for breakfast, was quite busy, as we walked in to have a look for a free table, a waitress, aggressively shouts as she’s marching up towards us “tables outside”. I looked at my husband and we walked out. That’s no way to speak to customers. Manners and attitude goes along way in hospitality. We would have breakfast quite a lot here but never again after this morning.

14/02/2026: This place is really nice ,a amazing wave pool,waterslide ,lane pool,bubble pool and lazy river but i would recomend operating the waterslides a bit more and for longer but they were still so funthe rest of it is amazing

20/12/2025: Everything out of the fryer... starter prawns in batter With main course you get a spoon of rice.... if you want more rice they charge.... restaurant gone down hill big time... quality and service

10/03/2026: Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered at 6:40 PM and the food only arrived at 8:40 PM — nearly a 2-hour wait for a delivery just 5 km away. The estimated time was 7:40 PM, but after that there were no updates at all. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times using the number on the app, but every call went straight to voicemail. No response, no communication, nothing. After waiting that long, the food itself was also very disappointing and not worth the wait. This was my first order from this restaurant and definitely the last. No customer should have to deal with this kind of service.

14/02/2026: Absolutely horrible. I put in an order for delivery using their website and it never came. I called and they were no help whatsoever. Now I’m out 40 quid. Cannot recommend.

18/01/2026: The Chicken Tikka Masala I got was poor quality, featuring dry, unmarinated cubes of meat that lacked the traditional char and flavours expected of the dish, def not marinated! Furthermore, the prawn dish was overcooked to a mushy consistency and were entirely flavourless and went straight in the bin! Given that these dishes were so bad I will not order from here again!

11/01/2026: Is the chef was on leave today? This is not biriyani, it is puzhugal ari with chicken cubes.

21/11/2025: The worst taro milk tea I have ever tasted, it was just straight up milk. The server was kind enough to add more taro powder but still it tasted just of milk.

27/09/2025: I'm a seasoned Taro drinker and this places Taro boba was really bad. The milk was watered down and very little Taro was used in the drink. Go somewhere else folks there are other lovely boba places in Dublin.

02/08/2025: The fry, one of the very few traditional chip shops left in Cork, well priced, beautiful food, phone in orders available, and they accept credit cards

23/07/2025: I had haddock and it was not pinboned and when I was eating scales were coming directly in my mouth. It was not descaled as well and the quantity was not enough. Very bad experience with haddock. 1/4 and 1/2 pounders are nice.

14/02/2026: Worse service around told the food was on its way not such thing had to ring a half a later haven’t still not left over the food here and have been loyal customer will never order from here again

12/02/2026: Lovely food everytime! We always get the 4 in 1, shrimp toast, sweet and sour chicken and anything with beef is so delicious and tender. Definitely would recommend as is the best Chinese takeaway!

12/03/2026: Beautiful location to stop. Food was good but overpriced. Felt rushed when looking a menu, they didnt have half the menu available. But staff was attentive once we sat down to eat by cleaning up quickly after we were done with dishes.

06/01/2026: Had lunch here. Best thing about the place are the views. Fish and chips -- The coating on the fish was rock hard and tasted of old, tired grease. The fish was overcooked and had a very strong fishy aroma and taste. The fries were not bad and ended up being the best part of it. They charged €19.95, a very high price, which emphasises the fact this place is a big-time tourist trap. The servers were working at a furious pace and not very friendly. They would snatch a plate away almost before you were finished eating. Forget eating here, it's not worth it. Having to go through the gift shop to get to the food says it all.

25/02/2026: Had a spice bag deliviered Portion was decent, spice bag had maybe a pinch of seasoning on it, mostly just old oil flavour. Satay sauce is just starchy jelly with a small satay flavouring
