05/07/2025: We are from Cork. Every time we holiday in Killarney or Dingle we come to Sethu for a meal. We’ve liked the food and service until now. Looks like the ownership has changed and the policies have changed. Now they have made mandatory to order one main course for every adult at the table. That’s ridiculous. Indians share their meals and don’t order full individual portions . Looks like the owner doesn’t understand this. This has made Sethu very expensive. The food was underwhelming. We ordered a chili masala curry, which had little flavour and just tasted of red chilli.
The restaurant has a good ambience. Service is still good. I suggest the owners remove the rigid policy and improve the food.
04/07/2025: Gorgeous food, and great portions. We thought the chicken pakora was one of the best we've had! Service impeccable. The restaurant lacks a bit of atmosphere, but makes up for it with the food! We will definitely br back, and this will certainly become our new take -away

25/04/2025: Visited in March with a family group of 17. Due to the layout of the restaurant we were on 3 tables but for us it didn't matter. Head waitress was there to answer any queries and really looked after our family. Food was excellent as always with lots of choice.
We visit regularly and will continue to do so.
19/04/2025: Wonderful food. Called in as we were passing and ordered the carvery. Generous portions of piping hot food which was delicious. All the staff were friendly so overall it was a lovely experience

06/04/2025: wouldn't recommend terrible service and food especially the fries greasy and old tasting and their justeat menu is old dated and doesn't include all the offers only misinformation to lure people to buy.

04/04/2025: Often droping in after work for a pizza and a milk shake and always leave happy! Lovely food and the owner is a very firendly man, their quick and very fairly priced, they do a tasty margarita pizza!

If I had to fault it in any way is that it's cash only and in these times we don't usually carry cash, that is my only little grumble. I love the place❤️

27/06/2025: I'm a regular here and have always been a fan of their doner. Got the doner last week and it was a greasy mess. Thought it was a one time thing. Had doner again last night and its just awful. doesnt even taste like meat anymore. Don't know what happened here lads.
14/04/2025: Pedí comida de apache en ballyvolane Nunca antes había experimentado un servicio al cliente como este no solo no recibí mi comida, sino que la persona que entregaba la comida era ignorante no me mostró respeto trató de culparme por mi timbre no funcionaba me dijo que me llamó timbre 4 / 5 veces, pero obviamente no lo hizo No recomendaría este lugar a nadie servicio impactante

21/07/2025: Ordered here no problems before, however ordered collection and was surprised that my 12.99 order was increased to 17.50 when I went to collect. We ordered over the phone and asked for the collection deal, order was confirmed but at collection they said there was no mention of the price - sorry but that’s not true and the compromise of 14.50 instead is not good enough. Had I not been listening to the order being made I might not have been bothered but I heard the full conversation and the price was confirmed over the phone. Lost a regular customer - good job.

16/07/2025: I ordered cocktail glasses Koziol assuming they are reL glass, they sent plastic. I paid 37euro for plastic glasses. This feels like a fraud!! I feel like robbed. Horrible experience, I am shocked Arnotts did such a thing!!!
