01/11/2024: Please pay attention to hygiene. If you drink an ice drink here, you will definitely have diarrhea. It happens every time, maybe because the ice bucket was left untouched for years. This is a serious problem.

22/10/2024: Since going to Starbucks at Opera Lane i've got on well with the staff including 1 Turkish girl who works there. But things soon took a turn, I told her in Jan how I have 2 Turkish friends in Cork and was to introduce her to Hikmet who I was meeting at Starbucks on a Sun nearly 2wks ago. This girl I don't know her name was finishing her shift at 2:30pm and I was to meet Hikmet there at 2pm, but he cancelled it till 3pm. So I rang Starbucks and left a message for this Turkish girl explaining the situation to 1 of her colleagues in a friendly manner. But since then this girl is now treating me horribly and not even a friendly hello how are you with a big smile like she normally does. Now nobody deserves this treatment and i'm going to have to pick her up on her mistake it's not right. Martin.

18/01/2025: The ambiance is decent, but the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The staff member with dyed blonde hair seemed to be having a bad day, constantly complaining and creating a negative atmosphere. The coffee was also terrible. The best thing about the café is undoubtedly its location..

24/11/2024: Absolutely useless company orders are never right staff are no help either Placed an order online apparently there system never got it and now have to wait 3to 5 days for money to go back to account.

27/09/2024: Ordered a chicken burger leaking with grease, the burger didn’t have cheese or bacon as advertised on the board. Chicken wasn’t crumbed either

09/11/2024: Great for a quick bite. Convenient for the hospital, across the road. Decent food, good service, very clean. I recommend.

19/09/2024: Bad form , ordered 3 singles of chips and two drinks today €19 , a lousy few chips and a bag of grease and new chipper around the corner gives more chips in one single compared to 3 here.

03/01/2025: Experiencia decepcionante, llegó a las 3. 30 pm y no se sirve sopa o comida caliente. Muy pequeña selección de sándwiches dejados y ensalada de frijoles no era fresco. Los inodoros estaban sucios - estándar muy diferente a otros cafés Kilkenny - mejoras necesarias!

05/10/2024: Personal amable y encantador. Comida fresca. Gran idea tener la opción de un pequeño o un gran scone. Buen café. Relajante lugar agradable con buena selección de comida caliente.

13/01/2025: My god the lady wasn’t very nice when I was making my order I thought I upset her so I rang back to say I didn’t mean to upset you oh god no I think it’s actually just her she’s very rude and actually upsetting I won’t ever order again from here because of her and the only way there is any stars is because I had to press a few for review
