The best restaurants

27/10/2024: We hosted our wedding day 2 here and the team were amazing. Incredibly accomodating and the food was great. Huge amount of food and great value for money. They accomodated kids, adults, vegans and all the chaos of differing drink requirements of a large group with nothing but a smile on their face. We used the outside venue which was great for kids to enjoy the day with no stress on the parents. Overall it made for a great day 2 and wrap to the celebrations. I love the team.

12/07/2024: My brother and I were on a hike last weekend and stopped here for a coffee break. Lovely place and very friendly, welcoming staff.

26/04/2025: Avoid this place… just ordered a takeaway 24.50 for a large pizza and 6€ for potato cubes… pizza had to be put in my oven when I got home as it was undercooked and cold and frozen potato cubes.. absaloutley disgraceful and totally overpriced! Possibly the worst pizza I have ever had will never order from here again!

20/01/2025: So far I have a good experience with that place. The breakfast menu is cheap and tastes good, even for the lunch you can grab a big burger full of beef with cheese and vegetable with fries for 7,95€, which is undoubtedly the best price so far. The cleaning could be better.

11/12/2024: Never supply any cutlery and now they started charging for wooden cutlery at the till. Blaming students for stealing them. Anyone could steal them not just students. Not even a nice restaurant would charge for take away cutlery.

17/04/2025: I’ve been to Starbucks all over the world, and here in Dublin, I visit almost every store with the exact same order every day. Today, I went to the Dundrum branch and had a really disappointing experience. A barista named Claudia told me she couldn’t fill up the cold foam on my drink because “it’s not secured.” I was genuinely confused. I’ve never been told that before. Another barista came over (she was lovely) and kindly asked, “Do you want me to fill it up?” which I really appreciated. Claudia then rolled her eyes and shook her head in disapproval multiple times, which felt unnecessarily rude. Her tone was very dismissive, and to be honest, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Starbucks barista. I’ve always loved how friendly and welcoming Starbucks staff are, both here and abroad, but this was the first time I felt genuinely uncomfortable. I just wanted to flag this because her attitude doesn’t reflect the usual great service I’ve come to expect from Starbucks.

07/04/2025: I visited on the weekend and there were a lot of people, but the staff named BORI? was friendly and nice. I had a good rest.

15/03/2025: Nice pub but pint average and for cheltenham wit place packed it wouldn't kill them to throw out a few sandwiches etc. All other pubs doing it. Won't b there again for cheltenham. Greed is a bad thing.

25/10/2024: I used to come here often pre pandemic times, when my aul pal Sean would be sitting at the bar jokes and tales were always plentyful. I got a surprise when I decided to go in for a pint of Guinness recently. No longer has the same character, staff are clueless, rude and inexperienced. Customers- what is left of them do not have a chat. Not the same. Will not be back.

13/03/2025: Nice staff, good location, but always way understaffed. One staff member on duty this morning. Queued for 12 minutes just to give me order (this was at 8:30am). No croissants available when I ordered as no fresh baked goods were yet available. There are better options available until Costa management get their act together. BTW my coffee glass was dirty, so didn’t drink it.

01/02/2025: I was shocked to see so tables full of dirty cups and plates! The coffee quality is absolutely substandard and expensive. I shall not be returning here again.

03/01/2025: A small establishment that serves an excellent Guinness to me. A very good selection of ales,cider and lager available . The staff are very friendly, courteous and good at their jobs

07/11/2024: Was staying at the Ardboyne hotel but couldn’t get the United game on. Messaged this pub to see if they was playing the game and they got back to me straight away. Glad I came down, Mick & Tara looked after me and the wife, great characters in the pub and great drink offers. Highly recommend 👍

14/04/2025: Date of purchase 13th april. I work from the square as a bus driver I had 10mins to spear and was starving so went into burger king in the square got myself a chicken burger meal service was quick....got back to the bus to have the meal on the go opened up the packaging on the burger and it was literally covered in sauce like absolutely smothered like a joke I couldn't eat it the burger just slid of the bun it was a absolute mess. Couldn't return it as bus was due to leave. Went in today 14th April and asked for manager I explained everything to both managers one young fair headed man with basic English I don't think he could understand me so he got another women manager ( no name tag ) with basic English.. explained again to her and her reply was ...( what you want me to do maby I should order next time with little sauce ) ......ehh no maby you should give me a meal on the house or atleast a apology... very rude and unpleasant manner... Also few staff standing by the manager with faces like they didn't want to work all looked bored and unhappy sure can't blame them for having rude management.. I expect a reply so let's see if I get one

03/03/2025: Pizza no tomato sauce no crisp at all not even crust uncooked slab of Doe don't waste your money guy who cooked it says sorry I was in a hurry.

17/02/2025: Ordered food, came chips were raw chicken was freezing, rang to complain and they said they will replace order, food came again same thing chips half cooked, and the delivery driver was so rude, giving out he is blocking cars in the estate, as if there is anything I can do about parking situation in the estate. I would never order from here again
