13/10/2025: Definitely best pizza I've ever had. I got the skinny based Mexican pizza, it was delicious. This place is spotless and the staff are really friendly. Great prices and great service. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

29/11/2025: Definitely the very last time I will ever order from Superchef Ashbourne. Local resident and we have tried all takeaways many times. Superchef is the ONLY restaurant to consistently overcharge. (Or they still have old menus in their takeaway from years ago). I am always overcharged. And I mean always. Special fried rice on the menu is 7.20. I was charged 8.40? Breast of chicken curry with chips listed at 7.20. Last week I was charged 8.00. Chicken fried rice listed at 6.50. I was charged 7.20. Thai chicken curry with fried rice listed at 7.30. I was charged 8.50. Spring rolls listed at 3.20. I was charged 4.20. Asked staff in shop, told menu prices were old? It's been like this for years. To make matters worse, got a chicken fried rice recently, got home, opened container, it was only about 80% full. Wasn't worth going back. Never again. Such a rip off. 'Best Chinese' (next door) is better, or Eatzen takeaway is amazing. Either update your menu with actual pricing, or charge people what is advertised on your menu. It would also help if your staff learned how to smile at customers, so unfriendly and borderline rude at times. Chefs are really nice and even say hello sometimes. The older (tall) lady at the counter needs a personality transplant, she is always grumpy and has zero customer service. Must be related, because no way she gets a job there with that attitude. Needs a lot of improvement. Not for me anymore.

23/11/2025: The food was not cooked whatsoever the sauce was the only thing that made it taste nice chips were ok but no spice and the chicken was completely uncooked very poor would not go again

03/12/2025: WORST Fish I ever had - said it was fresh, like cardboard with a much fish as batter - also ordered sausages, almost the same. Tried to cover all with stale chips - €20.00 !!!

09/09/2025: Staff are absolutely amazing hard workers and nothing but kindness, got a kebab tray and it was by far the nicest I had ever had, i even rang them after I had eaten to tell them, highly recommended!!!

10/09/2025: Kind staff, has an upstairs seating which I love and I always come for the berry refresher, wish they’d supply more of that pasta though, but it’s amazing and I’d recommend going for a quiet place to relax and hang out or to get some work done.

02/08/2025: Under staffed and those that were on were dirty looking and rude. Cappuccinos are served with chocolate. Don’t act as if it’s an inconvenience! Tables filthy. Would not use the toilets as manky.

12/09/2025: Very disappointed by the quality (or the lack of it) of the food and the subsequent level of service. I ordered sweet and sour king prawn dish to have at home. When I opened the box, a very strong smell of vinegar hit me. When I tasted the dish, the vinegar taste was even worse. Everyone in the house made the same comment about the smell. I phoned Dragon Boat and explained my issue. I was told that the operator tasted the sweet and sour sauce and that there was nothing wrong with the dish and he was not willing to make another portion or a different type of dish for me. He was simply not interested to resolve the issue but to only get me off the phone. I reiterated the fact that if I was dining in, I would not have paid for something I do not consider of acceptable standard. And yet, with a very arrogant tone of voice and without a hint of an apology, the worker told me he would not be doing anything for me as if everyone starts complaining, the restaurant would not be in business. Tonight, my consumer rights have not been respected and I am sharing my experience so people know what to expect ftom the staff in Drsgon Boat, Kilcock i.e. either hope for the best or stay hungry.

02/11/2025: Just got delivered a 'pizza' and chips. Chips are undercooked and pizza is overcooked and dry. Its meant to be a cheese pizza but all I can taste is bread and burn. Worst pizza I've ever had in my life 😖 never order here again....

01/11/2025: It’s a pity you can’t give zero star reviews on this, because if you could I would… hands down the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Food was horrible no flavour my burger was flat and burnt rock hard that's the bread🤮🤢

17/08/2025: I sat by the window, enjoying the warm day, and ordered the mozzarella and rost tomato ciabatta, which was quite good! Relaxed atmosphere, a great pub!

14/11/2025: The atmosphere in this place is amazing, and I can honestly recommend it for a pleasant time. But the service really disappointed me. I asked about Guinness 0.0 — the waitress simply said they didn’t have it and didn’t offer any alternatives. I had to literally pull information out of her about what they did have. When I said I was waiting for my girlfriend and we would only be having drinks, she rolled her eyes — a pretty unpleasant moment, especially considering this is a bar and restaurant, not a cafeteria. In the end she also brought me a sweet cider, even though there are less sweet options on the menu. When I pointed out the difference between Guinness and sweet cider, she didn’t even apologize, just smiled. After that I paid and left. It’s a shame, because the atmosphere is great, but the staff’s attitude completely kills the desire to stay.

14/11/2025: The entry was €20 per person, and we spent another €15–25 each on drinks and food, which felt a bit on the expensive side. Personally, I think a lower door price would make it even more appealing. That said, the atmosphere was excellent—lively crowd, great music, and really friendly service. We had a lot of fun overall. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you want to hang out with a group of friends and enjoy a vibrant night out.

06/10/2025: Service was appalling. We were not shown to a table just told “ya” when we asked if we could have a table. We were the only customers there at the time and it still took a long time to have our order taken. My youngest only wanted chips, curry and cheese. After a long wait our food arrived and she was handed Saag Paneer and rice! Told to keep the curry and he landed back with chips. I had to wait for my rice to come and when it finally did it had a hair in it. When I asked for the bill I mentioned the hair. They attempted to charge me full price for the saag paneer and a portion of chips. When I brought it to their attention they huffed and puffed. I waited long enough for them to come back to me, but they didn’t. I went to the front desk and was met by a really lovely and pleasant young lady. The revised bill was left with her. I was charged for the rice with the hair. I certainly won’t be going back there again.

25/09/2025: The food here is fantastic! I thoroughly enjoy what the chef's produces here. You can't get anymore authentic!! Great food made and served by great people with a great atmosphere.
