13/03/2025: Had a hernia repair on my stomach. The doctors did a great job and the nurses was top notch. One nurse saw I was nervous and calmed me down, talking to me about travel etc. They were just absolutely amazing. Can't thank them enough.

21/07/2025: The Worst Bar in Dublin – Dicey’s. Stay Away at All Costs! I used to think this place was cheap, lively, and a good spot to relax and socialize. But after what happened to my friend, I realized the ugly truth: this bar is not only terribly managed, it’s a chaotic and dangerous nightmare. I will never return — and I strongly advise others not to go either. Last night, my friend’s bag was stolen inside the bar. We immediately asked the staff for help, but they responded with complete indifference and told us to “go talk to security.” What happened next was even worse — the security guards were aggressive and refused to listen. They showed no empathy and violently kicked my friend out, even though she had just been robbed and was clearly in distress. The coldness and irresponsibility were absolutely shocking. This bar has endless problems and no bottom line: Rude and aggressive security: Completely unprofessional. They don’t protect customers — instead, they act like gangsters and threaten to throw people out. Staff shift the blame: When something goes wrong, everyone pushes responsibility onto someone else. No one helps. Filthy and chaotic environment: Sticky floors, disgusting toilets, trash everywhere. The place smells like a sewer. Thieves operate freely: Bag thefts, stolen drinks, missing phones — all common here. Security cameras are useless, and no one will investigate. Dangerously overcrowded: You can barely move inside. The air is suffocating. One small argument could easily turn into a fight. Fake atmosphere: Loud music and flashy lights create the illusion of fun, but the reality is stressful, unsafe, and miserable. At Dicey’s, you’re not treated like a guest — you’re just a walking wallet. If something bad happens, no one will help you, and the bouncers might even throw you out. You won’t even be treated with basic human respect. My honest advice: Stay far away from Dicey’s. Go to another bar. Dublin has many clean, safe, and well-managed bars where customers are actually respected. Dicey’s may look exciting from the outside, but behind the lights and noise is pure chaos and disrespect. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Don’t risk your belongings, your safety, or your dignity.

21/07/2025: I am a tourist visiting Dublin, and I was shocked by the racism I experienced at Dicey’s. The security staff treated me with clear prejudice based on my appearance. While other guests were allowed in without any problems, I was stopped, questioned, and spoken to with an aggressive and disrespectful attitude — for no reason at all. When I calmly asked why I was being treated differently, the security guard ignored me and even tried to force me to leave. I felt humiliated and deeply unwelcome — not just by one person, but by the environment that allowed this behavior. As a visitor who came to Dublin with an open heart, this was heartbreaking. I never expected to experience such racism in a public venue. It completely ruined my impression of this bar. Dicey’s needs to take responsibility, educate their staff, and ensure that ALL guests — local or international — are treated equally and with basic human respect. Until then, I strongly recommend tourists and travelers to avoid this place. You deserve better.

05/07/2025: Pannini was €9.80 and was one of the worse I've ever had absolutely rancid. Can of coke €3.50 I mean that ain't a 5 star restaurant learn how to cook quality food for the love of god... As you can see from picture it was extremely greasy. Food was repeating on me all day.

19/06/2025: STAY AWAY... called to order takeaway, new guy took my order. Then suddenly the person on the phone changed hands, gave my eircode with my address 3 times to 2 different staff members. The second guy used a "P" in my eircode after I stated it was "T" and even corrected him on it. So the unprofessional manager Norman, who clearly could do with some training and learn basic customer service had the audacity to call me saying I gave "an incorrect eircode". Arguing on the phone with me the manager hung up the phone, I had to end up calling back to the store. I argued my case, he was wrong SIMPLE, own your mistakes but he was just pure ignorant. So eventually he said "leave it with me and I'll call you". No call at this stage not even sure the delivery driver was coming, eventually my delivery came. I tipped the driver as none of this was his fault but the food was COLD and the order was wrong after spending 30 euro. I would avoid this place and be wary of the manager Norman (I think that was his name).

01/07/2025: Im in here most days of the week for a cup of tea as its cheap at €2.50 ,the atmosphere and staff were lovely. However I don't understand why they have to charge an extra €2.50 for a bloody tea bag. That to me is a joke, when a different staff remember said they had to charge 50 cent for an extra tea bag. Staff don't seem to know what's the rules in there as the cashier went to ,two separate managers. I am a person who likes strong tea and I don't think that's such a bag thing.if they're gonna start charging for extra tea bags, staff should learn how to make a good strong cup of tea! It costs €2.95 for a small box of i think 80 Barry's tea bags , to be charged €2.50 for a single tea bag just goes to show what Ireland has become 😅

03/05/2025: This business is “CASH ONLY” and have a sign on their window clearly stating such. This has been the case for many years - and still continues to be the case in 2025. Considering many people have been paying by card and contactless for many years now, I award this business 1 star. If you do not carry cash, you cannot purchase anything here

09/06/2025: Gluten free chicken tikka sandwich was an unexpected find in this store. Bread was decent but a bit soggy ...I should've checked if another sandwich was fresher. Still tasty though for premade airport food and a great price at €7.95.

28/06/2025: Food is good, outstanding BUT,,,, you have to get Moore staff, we arrived at 7:15 and got our starters at 7:30 which was very nice, we was waiting for our mains for nearly an hour after our starters with the plates still on the table,,,, this has been on 3 occasions with this restaurant, so if anybody wants to go be in for a long wait ,,,

28/06/2025: We had to look at dirty plates for a good 35-40 minutes after we finished our starter as thats how long we had to wait for our mains. Restaurant wasn't that busy but the takeaways were flying out the door......... Had to ask twice for ice for our drinks. This is the only Indian in Mallow and its not the first time we have had bad service. Previously I ordered a Chicken Puree starter and when I picked up the puree, a waterfall of oil poured out of it all over my very expensive dress and while the staff apologised, no offer was made to dry-clean my dress. We need another Indian in Mallow as competition to force them to up their game.

05/05/2025: Incompetent staff, both in the kitchen, making mistakes to the order, and the front facing staff who are unable to make the right decision. Very dissapointing.

19/07/2025: OK I hate having to do this. I'm a regular at Costa, love the coffee and treats. But recently I was in this crusies street branch and a man and his adult son came in to use the toilet. It was very obvious his son had special needs and was quite distressed. The dad asked if they could use the toilet and was told they were for customers only by the guy working there. Yeah, that's probably a company policy but a little kindness goes a long way. What an awful thing to do.

28/06/2025: pleasant staff. Coffee is not good, it's over burned, they should clean machine nor often.

14/06/2025: Food is good. Delivery driver rude beyond belief will no longer order from here. Ordered 14 June @1am. Shame as I enjoyed their place but will avoid going forward

20/07/2025: Just out of the Dean Hotel Dublin. Thank good. Met up yesterday early with my family and was given a room. We realized at around 11pm that the room was next to a night club and the noise kept us awake until 4pm. No notice in advance and given the fact that we are a family, they could easily provided an alternative room. However, coming down to the reception and providing a complaint, we we were met with pure ignorance and in the end hostility. We actually felt unsafe when one of the receptionists in anger actually foot followed us all the way out on to the road. We will of course follow up with the owners of the Dean Hotel Group and further secure that the receptionist in question is identified by the manager of the hotel.
