The best restaurants

07/05/2026: Tiny portions. I got this on 50% off on Uber Eats and still felt really hard done by. I got the quarter aromatic duck (about €14 on Uber eats).. it came with five... FIVE pancakes! Even though the portions were tiny, I still had to eat most of it without pancakes just loose because they only give you FIVE. These cost literally CENTS, and they still only give you five. Surely this is the cheapest part of the meal... you'd think they wouldn't be so ridiculous with it. Wouldn't order again based on this alone. Too much of a gamble. Chicken balls were DISGUSTING. Tasted like soap.

27/06/2026: Walked in and ordered a Mexican melt and a cappuccino. The lady said you need to order over there and pointed at the floor tile beside the one I was standing on. Then a man came in behind me and ordered a sandwich and they started to make it. I was skipped even though I ordered first so I just left. I think the man who came in after me but was served before me was the same nationality as the ignorant woman behind the counter. I walked out without being served and I won't be back. I buy nice rolls from the deli in SuperValu beside this shop and they're much better than O'Brien's sandwiches

25/06/2026: O'Briens, Lucan Shopping Centre - €12 for a toasted ham and cheese sambo to takeaway - asked for mayo, got none, or at least little enough that it dissappeared into the bread. Sandwich was dry. I got the last slice of one loaf, which was hard at the corners, and the first slice of a new loaf. One slice of ham, one slice of cheese. Still in shock at the price - I considered leaving it there when I heard the price, but felt that would be wasteful. Never again - there is no justification for that price for a sandwich. O'Briens dont bother to respond to their reviews which is telling.

19/11/2025: I tried the mixed sweets and Gulab jamuns - both were absolutely amazing. I have a favorite sweet shop India, and I was surprised to see the same quality and delicious taste here. I have eaten from many popular sweet shops Dublin, but this place is really different. The taste, freshness and authenticity are excellent. I recommend everyone to try it!

19/11/2025: I had some cakes, and a variety of sweets like barfi and mithai. Everything was delicious, and it’s the best I have had in a long time.

03/07/2026: Myself and the family Love the pizza here. Always cooked to a high standard and ready in time. The staff are extremely friendly, especially Robbie who greets us with a smile. Highly recommend ordering from this Pizza Hut.

17/05/2026: The live music on the weekends is unbelievable… Is what I would say if it was even the slightest bit enjoyable. Used to be a nice pub

15/03/2026: I went back with my sandwich cause the bread was too hard. They changed it for me no questions asked and when I get home to open it they gave me 3 cookies. Excellent customer service!!! Thanks guys

03/04/2026: After ordering food and waiting over an hour for it to come through just eat it never arrived and was neither placed on my door step, as seen in the pictures below. After calling the store they then told me it was outside which it never was I even checked twice. I am asking you for a full refund before taking this further as I am extremely dissapointed 30€ just wasted and never even arrived I even have a ring doorbell on my door for evidence if i have to pursue this matter further thank you

15/03/2026: Amost 20 mins waiting on a chicken wrap. Had to leave as I had no more time. If I didn't leave I'd have to wait an hour for the next train home. Wasted 8 euro and will now have to spend more money on dinner. I gave you 3 stars for the previous 3 visits that were fast and efficient. But today wasn't good enough. Wasted time and money. I can't afford to be wasting money, everything is expensive enough as it is these days. The guy told me 1 more minutes it's ready. 1 more minute and I miss my train. I'm not waiting an hour for another train because it took so long to make a wrap. Just not good enough lads. *Added after reply* Try offering my money back rather than a generic crappy reply with an email address. I paid money and received terrible service. I also received nothing for my money. Try better.

28/11/2025: Place is a classic Irish cottage setting tucked in around the corner opposite to Treacys Oakwood Hotel where I was staying. Tried their spicy chicken kebab, quantity was good but the chicken was cooked inconsistently, some pieces were chewy & hard, some pieces were soft however some were undercooked as felt rubbery while chewing had to spit out. Customer service was good and there was no long wait after ordering. Food quality can be improved.

13/12/2025: Went there for dinner. Ordered 2 main courses which were cold after long delay. Asked for potato instead of chips. Cost 3.50. Parmesan cheese coat 2.50. Bit over the top. We not offered the desert menu. Restaurant was quiet for a Friday. Have visited before and was lovely but would not go back.

10/12/2025: A DECAF coffee costs €4.30! More than an Americano. When I commented to the teller, he said “So you want one or not”. I returned my pasties and left.

21/11/2025: Dirty place,food is disgraceful, hairs in the pizza,wouldnt feed it to my dog never mind human consumption..this place should be closed down and i will be reporting this to food saftey authority.never again 🤮🤮🤮
