The best restaurants

09/11/2024: My family and I called in for dinner as we drove past a few times and always said we must try the food. Well, i won't drive past it again without calling in for food. The food was fantastic and I couldn't fault one thing. The staff were very friendly and good fun. We will definitely be calling in again .5 stars, P.s. The turkey dinner is amazing, and plenty on the plate 🍽 😋

07/12/2024: When I lived in dooradoyle a few years ago, I used to enjoy a donor box with no salad. As I was passing there one evening, I said I'd try one for old times sake, I was extremely disappointed. It must be under new management, the women taking orders hadn't a word of English, when I got home, it wasn't even a resemblance of what I asked for, chips with a bit of meat on them and grated carrot ( of which I didn't want) and no sauce. Absolute muck, will not be going back

06/09/2024: Got recommended to try out their pizza…once opened i realised nothing i asked was on that pizza…they gave me a spicy pizza. Never again.

01/01/2025: All the pub grub' venues had finished up at 6pm/7.30 on New year's eve so I chanced the Lemon Tree. Beautifully decored restraunt and I was greeted warmly in being seated at a requested table for one. I got a small portion of chips, rice, curry sauce and a mineral. Really lovely setting and location that opens late for either dining in or collecting a takaway. I'll definitely visit again. Happy new year and thank you. ♥️🍨🍹🫖☕️

21/11/2024: Ordered a spice bag and curry sauce over the phone. Got home and transferred the bag to a plate and there was 3 small pieces of chicken in a sea of chips, onions and red chilli. I called the desk to say there must be a mistake, there is no chicken in my spice bag. Person at desk said I had to order extra chicken for 2 euro. I said I wasn't given that option over the phone and they said all our regulars know to order extra chicken. The famous inn and tikka in the same town have sufficient amounts of chicken without getting scammed 2 euro. Order spice bags from them if you don't want to end up with curry chips. Gougers.

29/11/2024: They’ll scam you, but you’ll be drunk and won’t know. EDIT: The store wrote an embarrassing response, I might as well respond in kind. I implore you, check the cameras and use this as a learning moment for your staff. As I left, a local stopped by and informed us that this kind of thing happens all of the time. It appears you have a bit of a reputation within your local community, I recommend you work on that.

27/12/2024: Terrible service ruined everything! At 27/12/2024 19:21 the stuff service was terrible and with attitude. We order 2 Burritos and 4 Tacos. All of the food was messed up! Of course overcharge for the price! Hard to believe people whoever work here are well trained. If being rude to customer is the concept of Zambrero, please be prepared no one will come back to suffer again.

27/11/2024: I went to this cafe twice , both times, the serving time took ages!! Like they first serves u coffee and after half n hour they serves u food? The staff is so lazy, they need to know what customer service is, The beef sandwich was so hard to eat also smelly, when i complained they said its fresh!! Will never go back to this cafe again!! And not recommended to anyone!!!

12/01/2025: Sunday lunch.... I went with my 7 year old son. The food is really poor quality,prices high and the service was awful shocking. The waiters told us to wait for a minute to get the kids menu and after a long 12 min I asked them about it . The menu wasnt printed yet! They have very little options for the kids anyway so we ordered chicken goujons with chips and seafood chowder for me. I can safely say it was unpleasant! My son got 4 chicken nuggets instead of the coujons and very tiny portion of chips. The chowder was so watery and small , absolutely no seafood and I got one piece of bread and 1 butter in the same plate as the chowder. My son went to the waiters to asked them for more bread and they gave him one slice with 2 butters. I didn't complain at the frist time when I was asked by a meber of the staff (he was a supervisor on duty ) but when one the waiter back and asked us for dessert of something else my son was in the bathroom, I explained to her the food wasn't nice, the portions are extremely small,very price for 4 chicken nuggets nor chiken goujons and I really was very reluctant to order anything else because of the poor quality and quantity of the food. Suddenly a guy came across with an attitude was nothing short of ignorant, arrogant, and completely rude . He was blaming me because I didn't tell him the food wasn't nice when he asked us. In fact he was so overreacting in front of the staff and my 7 year old boy as he was back already from the toilet. This guy is far from suitable for front house of a restaurant / and have no idea how to treat costumers. He needs a especial anger management and customer service training course asap. The personel in the restaurant completely ignore us and I have to go myself to find someone to pay the bill. We left the place and I left an complaint to the the senior manager who was Anthony. Very disappointing experience.

23/11/2024: Food was really good, had the prawn tacos! Lovely Christmas vibes. Staff are always so welcoming and friendly.

19/10/2024: Barman worth his weight in gold ,on his own and it ran like an well oiled machine,well worth a visit, and the pizzas are not bad either,pool table and great pints⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
