23/09/2024: They no longer provide accommodations.

30/05/2025: Used to be a great spot for pizza,now it's rotten. It's like they are trying to spare the toppings - barely any cheese and the sauce is manky- tastes like tomato paste. The quality for the price is shocking

01/04/2025: The kebab was the worst of my life. Pizza taste like paper.. will never order again.

10/06/2026: Lovely place to have a few drinks with a pool table, dart board and smoking area, staff are lovely and friendly and it's usually quiet.

09/04/2026: We stayed at the Fernroyd House when attending an academic conference at UCC and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Tony and Avril were lovely hosts, providing wonderful meals and all amenities. The location and ease of arrival from Cork Kent was quick by bus and we were in a very central location near to anything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. Thank you so very much!

23/07/2023: BEWARE! The website still takes orders and charges money for pick up and delivery, even though the restaurant has been closed for several months according to new tenants.

07/07/2025: Compré un cupón de 100 euros en este restaurante para dárselo por Navidad a un amigo mayor que no suele salir mucho. Este amigo me dijo que lo había destruido sin querer y me preguntaba si podía conseguirle uno nuevo. Llamé al Empoli y les expliqué la situación, pero no hubo suerte. Fui al restaurante y les enseñé la transacción bancaria, como me pidieron, pero no hubo suerte. Les envié un correo electrónico para explicarles, pero no hubo suerte. El gerente no me devolvió la llamada, como me habían prometido. Nada. Nunca llegué a hablar con el gerente. Entiendo que no tienen obligación de reemplazar el cupón, pero puedo demostrar que lo compré y deben saber que nunca se usó. Seguramente no pueden creer que me esté metiendo en esto para estafarles 100 euros, pero parece ser el caso. Mala manera de tratar a los clientes en una zona donde la reputación cuenta.

11/03/2025: Honestamente, esta es mi primera crítica para un restaurante, nunca. Y este lugar es 10 / 10 , si lo que buscas es comida italiana real, auténtica y llena de sabor esto es todo. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y volveremos aquí de nuevo. Gracias por la mejor comida italiana que hemos tenido.

20/07/2025: What an absolute disgrace! Please be warned, they only serve you half shots in your drinks. Keep an eye on the bartenders when they are pouring your drinks. Rude bouncers. Charging €10 for entry and won’t even let you finish your drink when they are closing. I live outside of Ireland now and used to frequent JDs ALOT and it breaks my heart the absolute state of the place. It’s the middle of July and it used to be the place to be. Greed ruins everything and that just sums up JDs!

23/05/2026: I asked today for loaded fries with extra cheese and extra bacon and I get this just before the close,staff is very disrespectful

22/04/2026: It takes 15 - 20 minutes to get your own pizza rite out of oven. Has seating indoor and outdoor. Outside there's Dog's sauna washing machine 💯
