08/01/2024: I recently celebrated my birthday at this wonderful restaurant with seven of my friends, and I can't express how delightful our experience was. From the warm and attentive service to the mouthwatering Argentinian cuisine, every aspect of our celebration was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make our evening special. They not only accommodated our group but also allowed us to bring our own cake, which added a personal touch to the celebration. It's not often that you find a restaurant so accommodating, and we truly appreciated their flexibility. As an Argentinian, food was the highlight of the evening. Each dish we ordered was bursting with authentic flavors. The attention to detail in every aspect of the meal was evident, making it a gastronomic delight for all of us. The restaurant generously gifted us a dessert for the entire table. It was a sweet gesture that made our celebration even more memorable. The only disappointment was the absence of Entraña, but it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. Despite this small hiccup, the evening was a beautiful celebration filled with great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentical Argentinian dining experience. It's a gem that combines delicious cuisine with outstanding hospitality, making it the perfect place for celebrations. We'll definitely be back for more!

01/08/2025: After our tour of hook lighthouse we had coffee and iced cake. The service was friendly and clean and not expensive . Very refreshing to relax.

31/07/2025: Oh my good lord - the chowder. We came as a group of friends, did the tour and stopped for lunch. Between us we had the chowder, fish and chips and the open face prise sandwiches. Chowder - thick, packed with prawns, chunks of potato and fish. So flavoursome. Fish and chips - to quote my friend, “Oh my God, how do they get the batter so light and crispy and the fish so moist?” Open face prawn sandwich - piled high, lovely brown bread. I’m gluten free and the bread that came with the chowder was so good I had to check that it was definitely gf. Genuinely not had a gf bread so good in years since the epic gf restaurant in Pisa. And we lucked out on the weather. Sunshine and soft breezes.

09/04/2025: Delicious. Ate every bite. Such a lovely spot and staff so friendly and helpful..great range of artisanal food and drinks to takeaway. Delicious chocolate

20/03/2025: Have visited here 3 times over the past 6 months. Delicious eat-in curry each time. Now my go-to place when I hit Castleisland. Next time will post pic.

23/09/2025: The toilet is open until 7 pm after which you need to go to the bushes....

14/05/2025: Paid €4.75 for a swirl for it to be only barely 3/4 full absolutely ridiculous

16/08/2025: Good place to stop for a bit of grub. Deli has a good choice in food. Serena at the deli made me a gorgeous chicken fillet roll, lovely girl! Would recommend to anyone in the area 👍

13/01/2025: Terrible service. Twice I've ordered from Popadom and never again. First time they never provided chips with kebab meals, although the manager dropped them to my house after the counter staff said chips don't come with kebab meals. Second time the same and even though we said no spicy sauce on the kebab it was covered in it
