08/03/2025: Went with family for dinner last night. The food was excellent from starters to deserts the portions were very generous. The atmosphere was great in the lovely open space. From booking to leaving the staff were wonderful with all 11 of us agreeing it would be hard to beat. Thanks for a fantastic evening.

08/02/2025: This is our go to as locals. The food is always top quality and the portion sizes are such great value for money. Have been at least 3 times within the last couple of months and collectively had a handful of things from the menu and cannot fault any of it. We also appreciate the fact that you can get any of the mains as half portions, because then my daughter can get anything she wants from the main/specials menu without being limited to the usual "kids meals". The only small thing would be that there are no roast potatoes on the roasts, but that doesn't stop us from coming back. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere too. Overall very happy customers and will continue going back.

13/11/2024: Had sandwiches in bakewell the bread was hard and stale and the rashers like cardboard all the food looked like it had been there for days and all the pastries out in the open no cover

25/10/2024: Dinner was lovely small portions and very expensive also €1.50 for extra gravy when dinner is €24.50 is a bit Irish Won’t be visiting again

22/10/2024: Had a lovely few pints here last night - a group of about 8 of us who stayed for a good 4-5 rounds. Decided to come back today for a pre-dinner drink to celebrate my birthday and were shouted at by a “gentleman” drinking at the bar who pretty much told us we weren’t welcome and was incensed that we had the audacity to pull a chair across. He told us to go sit outside in the beer garden or in the snug. One of my party said, “Do you want us to leave?” He replied, “Yes, I do.” The man apologised to the barkeeper, who said, “You’re alright.” We drank up and left immediately, as we had been made to feel so unwelcome.

14/07/2024: Tuvimos un tiempo increíble en el brunch sin fondo. El servicio fue absolutamente increíble, y el DJ realmente añadió a toda la experiencia. Muy recomendable

19/06/2024: Honestamente, no puedo entender la alta calificación que este lugar ha logrado. Estábamos de despedida de soltera y reservamos las 2: 30 Ranura de almuerzo sin fondo el sábado. Era un manicomio absoluto con la música por las nubes. Terrible comida, asqueroso efervescente y cócteles acuosos. El comedor es una larga habitación estrecha oscura sin cubiertas en las mesas y sillas de mala calidad. Nos fuimos después de una hora. Si usted está pensando en reservar esto, debe conseguir uno de su grupo para ir primero para comprobarlo.

14/04/2025: La comida en Zizzis es de primera categoría, las manos de la mejor franquicia italiana en Dublín. Sin embargo, el servicio deja mucho que desear. Tuvimos que pedir dos veces por nuestras bebidas y los chefs estaban tocando su campana 3 - 4 veces antes de que un servidor vendría a recoger la comida. Había otros clientes sentados mirando a los camareros para tomar su pedido durante más de 25 minutos, esperando a que llegaran las bebidas, irritados visiblemente. Cuando terminamos nuestra comida principal nos sentamos con platos sucios frente a nosotros durante unos 20 minutos antes de pedir al servidor el menú de postres. Solo cuando trajo los menús pensó en despejar la mesa. Uno de los servidores estaba demasiado ocupado coqueteando con el chef para molestarse en tomar órdenes o llevar comida a las mesas. En un momento dado le arrojó comida, supuestamente en broma, y la golpeó en la cara. Estaba claramente irritada por su comportamiento y no estaba entreteniendo la atención que él le estaba dando. Disfrutamos mucho de la comida y esa es la única razón por la que volveríamos, pero el servicio era tan pobre que casi niega lo buena que es la comida.

31/03/2025: Mi prometido y yo fuimos a zizis liffey Valley es mi restaurante favorito siempre estoy aquí para algo de comida, el personal es siempre increíble y trabajando tan rápido como puedan, BARTENDER ERA ABSOLUTAMENTE INCREÍBLE LA RECOMENDARÍA PARA BEBIDAS! En ese lado nota tomó alrededor de 15 minutos para encontrar una mesa, ya que había una cola enorme detrás de nosotros y solo reservamos como dos personas como usted sabe, ya que nos sentamos que tomó exactamente 40 minutos para un sever para venir a nosotros, pero eso era tan comprensible con lo loco ocupado que estaba el restaurante. El gerente coco creo que su nombre era No estoy seguro de cómo administrar el restaurante, ya que vi que todo el personal estaba estresado y parecía que estaban a punto de llorar por la cantidad de estrés que se llevaron, ya que parecía que el gerente estaba causando más trabajo para el personal más joven, cuando finalmente conseguimos nuestra comida fue fabuloso y no estaba frío, pero mientras yo y mi prometido estábamos comiendo alimentos, escuché al gerente entregado a un miembro del personal que acaba de entrar, ya que estaba tratando de ayudar al personal y ver lo que estaba pasando, pero todo lo que el gerente hizo a esa chica encantadora fue gritar menospreciándola y hablar con ella, parecía que estaba a punto de llorar, pero juego limpio para el camarero tratando de hacer las bebidas y dárselas a los clientes tan rápido como lo hizo, mientras que también ayudó a las camareras a limpiar las mesas lo suficientemente rápido. Me di cuenta de que una joven que trabaja en la cocina también salió a ayudar al personal porque no estaban recibiendo ninguna ayuda del gerente de cabello oscuro. He tenido una situación tan incómoda visto que el personal fue tratado de esa manera y tratando de hacer todo, incluso que se les decía todo cuando tienen mucho entre manos. Toda la camarera hizo lo mejor que pudo con su servicio al cliente Estoy seguro de que estará recibiendo malas críticas en el Día de la Madre, pero como lo que he visto parece ser una cosa habitual que sucede en este restaurante se puede ver el estrés en los empleados jóvenes enfrentan que no son respetados o el reconocimiento que merecen, mi hija menor trabaja en la hospitalidad y nunca nunca se ha faltado al respeto la forma en que este personal es tratado como he dicho que hemos estado aquí antes He tenido un buen servicio por el supervisor joven y el personal de la casa delantera y nunca hemos tenido una experiencia tan mala aquí antes Es horrendo lo mal tratado que el personal está aquí haciendo lo más difícil que puede cuando ha estado bajo tanto estrés

19/06/2025: Had seen pics of this place on various social media and it looked amazing so took the trip from Navan to experience a seafood lunch with a lovely view. The place was all locked up. The time we visited 12.20 Thursday 19.06.25 but had been hanging around from 12, and website says restaurant opens at 12 midday. Chatted to the lady across the road in the shop and she said the staff were in there alright. I remember this happening last year when I visited too, and the place shut, so my advice dont bother or put yourself out, as there are many other places that want your business. We went to the secret garden Carraigdale hotel for coffee , fabulous gardens, and ate in Strandfield cafe opposite Ballymascanlon hotel, amazing place for our main meal so all was not lost. Such a pity Glyde inn, as would have loved to have seen your lovely restaurant, but wont be returning again.

07/06/2025: We booked for lunch having heard that this pub was voted best in Leinster our expectations were high. Our starters were lovely We had oysters for 2 fishcake and caesar salad so far so good. Our mains took 45 mins to come out and every dish was disappointing Hake was not fresh and was overcooked, seafood pasta had very little fish and no prawns and worst dish of all was the fish and chips it was overcooked and 75% batter We waited for staff to clear table and ask how was your meal but nobody came near us after over 2 hours at the table for 2 courses we went looking for our bill, we paid it and will not be back . How they could be one of the best gastropubs in Ireland beats me.
