30/10/2023: Fantastic food. Great service and a lovely venue

12/10/2023: Haven't been in Gorey in ages, met a friend, walked past this place and decided we would try it out. Decor nice but could do with more soft furnishings to help with noise. Quick seating and taking orders however food was very slow in coming, we had to ask twice for it. When it did arrive, they forgot the chips so they came another 10 mins later. Food was good but nothing suburb. However when came to pay was a bit shocked, Got two sausages (which were a bit well done), three eggs, beans and toast with a can of drink and it was around 18e which i thought was a bit steep. So dont think will be going back

06/09/2025: Well presented gift shop that’s not overflowing with generic tat. Nice change for Kilkenny. Eoghan was extremely helpful and pleasant and I can’t recommend the gift shop highly enough.

14/05/2026: Lovely pub old school , peaceful friendly and the pint is lovely, the gentleman behind the bar is exactly that A GENTLEMAN Clyde and Anna

06/03/2026: Very subpar breakfast and service is rude. They make all the coffee behind their counter but you have to order as soon as you walk in. This causes long line for people trying to get in. They should just have coffee access for all customers instead of this very chaotic system. Very disappointing.

18/04/2025: Pedí fideos de sal y gambas con chile y salsa salteada. Era un fideo impactante. Eran salsa salteada extremadamente seca. Era horrible. La comida estaba realmente fría. Nunca más. En cuanto a las gambas, impactante. Devolví la comida.

11/07/2024: This is our 2nd time here this week the atmosphere and drinks/snacks are great. Really good value and my family loved the local pub atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone My daughter asked for extra side with her order and not a problem. Lovely little rural pub with good food. They want to return before they leave next week

13/10/2024: Irresponsible, paid a taxi, came for a sunday breakfast date, on google says open until 5pm, when we arrive, closed!

27/06/2025: I am a local in Malahide and love to support the numerous and amazing restaurants and businesses in the area. However we ordered a takeaway from The Orchid Restaurant in Malahide this evening and although they use high quality ingredients unfortunately the chef over seasons the food to such an extent it’s almost inedible. Please stop over using salt in your dishes and let the high quality food speak for itself. You would then be a 10 out of 10 restaurant.
