The best restaurants

22/10/2023: That was closed on Sunday 9.15 AM.

08/08/2023: This review isn't about the food, as we weren't given the chance to taste it or even set foot inside the establishment. This morning (9:30-9:45), we wanted to have breakfast here. Google indicated it was open, but given some of the reviews, I decided to check while my husband waited for me further on. Outside, a small sign announced that there was indeed a tea room, visible through the windows, and the only door leading to it was open. I went inside, looking for any sign, and a little further on, I saw a woman bustling around in the tea room through the door, which was also open. I didn't have time to say a word before she said something (which I didn't understand), yelled at me to get out ("OMG! Get out! Get out! Get out!" I understood that), and ran after me (that finally convinced me). I left without asking for my change. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but it was an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone (especially those who don't speak English very well like me), so I'm sharing it. This woman may not work there, but in any case, it's unacceptable to allow customers to be treated this way.

07/07/2026: I have never experienced 2 people take 20 minutes to put one salad together while theres a que. Wasted my whole lunch break waiting until I had to go back to work.

16/06/2026: Absolutely the worst chicken I have ever had in my life.when I returned it ,I called the girl to end of counter very discreetly to explain how awful the chicken was ,she became very loud and defensive saying I had no commen sense and there was nothing wrong with the chicken even though it was clearly the wrong colour and black spots and tasted foul.Thanfully the man intervened ad agreed to change it he was very polite and agreed to give me a fish instead the girl then shouted i had to pay extra the man again said no . The fish was very tasty and I was very pleased with it .Although it was not a pleasant experience at all ..The female member of staff has no manners what so ever she became very hostile and refused the slightest criticism.. Won't ever be back ...😡😡

30/12/2024: Not at all. Over an hour for take out delivery. Really rude server. Yet to get food. Really rubbish. Not recommended for anyone.

22/12/2024: Without a doubt , the worst fish and chips I have ever been served. My wife had the smoked cod, was thinner than a slice of sliced bread. The batter was practically non existant. Now to the ray that I ordered. I come from Raytown (Ringsend) It was disgraceful. To serve what I got was just horrendous. Inside the overcooked thin lair of batter was the smallest piece of Ray I have ever seen. I've been eating Ray all my life and this was the worst I have ever been served. The excuse I was given was that is all they could buy from their supplier. To which I replied , why did you buy it if it is inferior. And then try to pawn it off on customers. Needless to say Sharkys will never see us again. Dreadful food and the staff with their take it or leave it attitude was not a lot to be proud of.

30/09/2025: Friendly staff, & coffee and scones are good. They have a deal on these which makes the price very competitive.

28/09/2025: Really poor Wifi here, not useful if you want to get anything done! Pity though, has lovely windows and lots of natural light, which is rare in the Blanchardstown concrete jungle.

18/09/2025: I placed the order on Saturday and was surprised by the cake I received. This is the third time I've ordered this flavor of cake. The two previous times the cake was delicious and impeccable, but those were medium-sized cakes (14 people). This time, when I ordered the larger one (30 people), it came practically without pistachio. The cream flavor (even though it was mild) was predominant in the cake; the pistachio was only visible in a few crumbs on the side, but it wasn't visible inside the cake or possible to taste. Not even the pistachio on top of the cake, as in previous cakes, was present in this larger cake. The cake itself was delicious, as was the cream, but the pistachio flavor was disappointing and left much to be desired. I tried contacting them through both contact methods, but received no response.
