04/07/2025: Charming, friendly and relaxed cafe. An original gem.

19/05/2025: Coffee was good and the owners were very friendly. A real credit to Barrack Street.

29/03/2026: Nice staff excellent hot food, chips burgers chicken and pizza all fresh and reasonably priced.

12/02/2026: Stopped off here for some food after visiting friends in Borrisokane. Food was delicious and the owners were very polite. Will definitely visit again, when we're back in Ireland visiting family in Sopwell Cloughjordan A*

23/10/2025: Found this gem on the worst night, the weather was awful and we had got lost with our baby and both of our phones had died. After buying two new chargers and ports nothing would work in the car so we had to stop. The lovely chap on the counter kindly charged the phone for us and was extremely helpful and kind. It really helped us. Food was lovely although chips could be fresher otherwise a really lovely little spot

15/01/2026: The staff are so kind and friendly and they are always welcoming you with a smile on their face in reception and the servers in the canteen are very nice and your definitely going to be stuffed for a day with the excellent food that they have to offer.

31/01/2025: Got a 4in1 for lunch today for the unbelievable price of €5(student deal). A big portion and it was delicious. Customer service was excellent! This place is a hidden gem

26/06/2025: This is a little hidden gem . The shop is full of interesting things for the house . Books on food and veg . They sell flasks of all kind. Knives 🔪. tea pots pots pans . Fresh fruit and veg . Fantastic variety of wines. And oils Chocolates. gifts for everyone. I had soup and bread it was fantastic with coffee and coffee cake . My friend had duck with beetroot. The staff are friendly and helpful. 💕👍

05/01/2026: After arriving home from collecting my order I realised it wasn't complete. Was not in a position to head back down and was told they wouldnt bring the rest of the order to me. For paying over the odds prices, I would expect to recieve everything I ordered. Follow up : In regards to the reply from the owner, I was not offered a complimentary beef curry. I was however offered the price of the rice not received off my next order. I'm not sure on how this would have worked since the rice is suppose to be included. I kept this detail out of my original review to limit the embarrassment to your establishment.
