The best restaurants

05/07/2025: I am a chocoholic - I've sampled the best chocolates in Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands and I have to say I am obsessed with Clo's Atlantic dark chocolate bar, made with Knocknarea honey, hazelnuts and sea salt. I buy it from Fallon and Byrne in Dublin - and from here when I'm home. It is utterly indulgent and delicious and doesn't taste overly processed or bulked out with cheaper ingredients - like many Irish "artisan" chocolate bars on the market. I've never eaten in the cafe but I've bought chocolate and desserts to take away from here on several occasions and I am so impressed with the quality, particularly the local whiskey chocolates. However, I can't speak for the coffee or pastries. I love the whole layout and cheerful look of the bakery/cafe too. The staff have always been kind and helpful. Sligo has a lot of very average bakeries so we are lucky to have a French style bakery in the town. Be aware that there is a 20c charge for a paper bag and they charge for the boxes you buy chocolates in.

26/04/2025: Good coffee but stodgy doughnut filled with cheap jam. ? Changed ownership - false economies - coukd not currently recommend pastry and used to be great

06/07/2024: Nice wine bar with tapas style food in the happening Victorian Quarter. Particularly like the wine flights where you can try three different types of wines in each flight.

27/05/2024: What a lovely wine bar, and the staff is sooooo friendly. They'll even let you taste the wine first if you're not sure you like it. They're cheerful and genuinely enjoy their work. Highly recommended!

10/06/2024: I don't know how to rate the place as the restaurant is not at the mentioned address or out of business. The same address is Japanese Minori sushi/bento/ noodle box place. I am very sorry I put one star only because I wanted to get Chinese and ended up with Japanese food as had no other choice. It is frustrating. They should correct the address or take it off Google maps or at least leave the note that they are out of business or changed the name. Sushis were nice though 😅.

10/11/2025: Made an order for 3 4in1s and they gave me out a 3 ,3in1 they need to work on listening . The worker couldn’t wait to get me off the phone , this wasn’t the first time either .

21/08/2025: Small restaurant. Lovely staff great food. Atmosphere upset by take away service.

31/08/2025: Overall the food is good but I suggest the chicken is little cooked .. few bits are like rubber .. but their fried rice is good.

03/09/2024: Went for a family reunion with my cousins from Donegal. Had a great night with good food and great company. The staff were very helpful and couldn't have done more for us. The choice on the menu was great and there were some very good Sri Lankan Curries. The dessert menu had good choices too. We had a few drinks after the dinner and weren't rushed. Great night all round.

04/05/2025: This was our first time having food from this place . We got a delivery and it was the worst food we ever got 😒 cost us 25e for fish and chips and a kebab. My dog 🐕 would of not eaten it . We had to throw it out . Please stay away 🙏 and don't waste your money . Thanks 👍

04/05/2025: The worst kebab I've ever seen in my life , nothing in it and the fish was over done with hard batter, with the smallest bag of chips in the world ......never again , don't go there whatever you do !

16/11/2024: Por un precio bajo se obtiene una gran porción de comida muy olvidable. (de una selección bastante regular de platos principales) Por lo demás, el lugar estaba limpio y el servicio bien.

20/07/2025: Order a large pepperoni pizza and the size was the size of a coca cola can it would definitely be a small anywhere else. Sadly it was also inedible, greasy, hard, was a random place to pick some lunch but never again

30/03/2025: I received my delivery from jia jia earlier on today. I order here regularly but will not eat here again . The chips were freezing . Over half the chips were hard and crispy. I don't know why but their BBQ sauce has completely changed. It was horrible . So disappointed. Waste of 60 euro...

28/12/2024: Excellent food and excellent service provided by the kind staff .Food was very quick to be served and was delicious. Will definitely come here again
