The best restaurants

22/09/2024: I've had no problems until a lot of it has changed cause this place cannot be found on just eat and when you go through the link it's closed aparently they have an app now but that can't be found amd honestly you do be waiting quite a while to get through to them on the phone but in person service is absolutely fantastic but I really hope they get the these problems fixed soon

26/06/2025: What a pleasant surprise to find this place. I enjoyed a beautifully presented, tasty, nutritious and colourful plate of food. I had the wagyu burger which was gluten and dairy free and so delicious. The combinations of flavours were next level. The husband and wife owners are friendly and very helpful. Even though they were closing soon, they happily allowed me inside and accommodated me. I'll definitely be back soon!

14/06/2025: I love this place. Only found it for lunch 2 weeks ago and been back twice. Food is high standard/quality and simply delicious. There’s nothing on the menus I’ve seen that I would not eat/try. I just have to make a lot more return visits to get through the choices. Husband and wife run it and are lovely charming people, very friendly. And food is really reasonably priced considering the quality. Complete thumbs up, I’ll be a returning customer for sure. Lovely experience.

19/01/2025: Pretty disappointed to be honest have been a customer for years and tonight they cancelled my order said I was being refunded, I rang them they explained that an item wasn't on the menu ,I picked a different item and they said look you'll be refunded soon we will ring back and take payment ,10 mins later nothing in bank these refunds take 3_5 days

08/03/2025: A lovely relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The simple food was deliciously fresh and staff couldn't do enough to cater for your needs. Definitely going to make this place a regular habit 🙌

30/11/2024: We used to enjoy getting kebabs and chips here. They were absolutely phenomenal. After a coeliac diagnosis the chef and staff have gone to great lengths to start including a gluten free menu ! Gluten free kebabs, pizza and wraps. They have been so accommodating. 5 stars and the friendliest service !!

12/11/2024: I would recommend this place to anyone. Lovely freshly prepared food ( no re fried chips), good portion sizes and very clean place. We had pizza, chips and Kebab. The pizza here is delicious with a perfectly crisp crust. Kebab was tops with fresh vegetables and sauce topped off the culinary delight. We would definitely come back again.

28/12/2025: Great place for a pint, or some of the non alcoholic options they have. Stopped here for a drink and noticed a party going on and everyone seemed to be having a good time so might come back for a party. Good team behind the bar

02/06/2025: Decided to have dinner in this pub been under new management and I heard it was serving good food. Much disappointed with both of us served really over cooked chips we tried eating them but horrible plus way too much garlic butter in a sandwich. Bottled water left on tables very warm should be served cold when guests sit down. Disappointing. I wouldn't be rushing back. Staff prompt and efficient.

31/05/2025: Best of the best! When O’Donohues pub went under new management—it was by amazing folks who appreciate the unique charm and history of this pub. It’s still Fanore at its finest!! The food and service is consistently wonderful—we’re working our way through the menu—plenty of interesting, delicious options! The prices are an excellent value for top quality —not gratuitously inflated because of location. It’s worth a trip to Fanore just to eat here, and —on the way— see the breathtaking coastal views of R477 and the Wild Atlantic Way! Bravo, O’Donohues!!!

01/11/2025: Extremely dry muffins. We asked for a refund and they offered to give us new muffins which were just as dry as the other ones. Staff is not very friendly.

12/10/2025: Customer service here was honestly a mess. I got overcharged €2 for a hot chocolate, and when I brought it up, the staff tried to brush it off by saying that’s what I ordered. I had to explain three times that the math was wrong. In the end, instead of giving me the money back, they handed me a loyalty card and said that was the same value. Really poor way to handle a simple mistake.
