The best restaurants

14/09/2026: Excellent take away. Good range and quick service.

29/09/2025: Was here this past weekend for a few drinks Bar staff great and the pint was great too Would recommend

01/09/2025: Popped in for a pint came out with a warm heart! The lovely bar keep was so welcoming, he chatted with us made us laugh and provided great recommendations in and out of town. These are the types of pubs you want to experience! Cheers

22/07/2023: SHOCKING!!! I've had microwave packs that tasted better! Ordered Chana Chicken- chicken was at least a day old, didn't taste of anything, chickpeas tinned, still crunchy probably just out of the tin there and then. Sauce was watery a.f. , no trace of veggies Jalfrezi - no trace of turmeric or ginger or not even onions or pepper. Just some curry powder and a lot of chilli powder in it. Basmati rice, had better uncle Ben's packs. No music whatsoever. The waiter has to turn the light on in the toilets for you if you need to use them. No surprise there as it's completely empty and probably have to keep the costs down Avoid at all costs!

01/03/2026: The food is very average and the prices aren't overly cheap for what it is. The staff are very nice though and I have personally ordered something not on the menu and the staff were happy to accommodate me and what I was asking for which was great. Overall it's decent for a bit of grub on the way home from the pub when the taste buds aren't as fussy, but if you're looking for a sober tasty takeaway I would look elsewhere

24/11/2025: They put there tika kebab chicken in there curry to save money instead of breast of chicken like they use too ,,, and it is now horrible so they lost a good customer

29/08/2026: Delicious sandwich and lovely staff ☺️

15/05/2025: Excellent small shop. Very hospitable staff :)

22/12/2024: As others have mentioned, it doesn't look like much, but there's so much heart in this place. Wonderful owner, and lots of great events that are all about bringing people together. Some of the best nachos you can get.

22/10/2024: Great Guinness served by top barman John

20/05/2026: Kebab meat cooked in microwave then put in wrap with mayonnaise cheese and back into microwave..

16/05/2026: So good there ther food is amazing

03/01/2026: Ordered a spice bag from here a few years back and in the middle of it I found some already chewed chewing gum and when I complained the owner shouted at me on the phone not believing me and now to this day will refuse to deliver to my address, even to different family members. Very unfair behaviour for something that was completely their fault.

28/07/2025: Unfriendly staff, zero flexibility beyond their menu. Got the bill without asking for it, as if they want to get rid of us - despite being Hotel guests. Hospitality is something very different... Wouldn't recommend at all.
