The best restaurants

28/05/2025: The most incredible service, excellent staff, amazing food. Beautiful atmosphere. Our large party had been traveling all day, got turned away from the pub, but inquired at Cedars and was immediately welcomed, and the highest quality service given to us even though we were not guests of the hotel and just passing through late in the evening. Did not make us feel uncomfortable, underdressed, or out of place … the staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make it a delightful experience! Outstanding food! And the best hospitality - thank you!!

12/05/2025: Excellent food and wonderful services dinner was quite loud, however breakfast was more relaxing. Choice of the love buffet, and you can still order off of the menu.

10/06/2025: 2 nd time to eat from here vomiting from both occasions can't be coincidence had a smoothie first time and today had a Moroccan Buddha bowl, it tasted lovely but a couple of hours later unwell. I projectiled vomited the first time on the smoothie

28/06/2025: My last 3 consecutive experiences with Subway. North Street, Swords (Applegreen garage)... Experience 1: The woman serving me thought it would be a good idea to serve both me as well as the lady behind me at the same time. I didn't feel prioritised and I actually felt uncomfortable ordering alongside someone else whom I don't know. The subway employee ended confusing herself whilst mixing up our bread and sauce types. Disappointing to be honest considering a roll costs in around 9 quid. Not cheap in today's climate and its a treat I generally look forward to but dont always have. Be better. Experience 2: I only eat Hearty Italian. I understand that subway have other choices of good quality bread to chose from but I've tried their selection and nothing tickles my fancy. On this day, I arrived at Subway an hour and a half after they had opened. I asked for a Hearty Italian only to find out that none had been prepared. I'm working within the hospitality trade all my life. Anyone that has worked within hospitality knows preparation is key. Being ready is key. Instead I was nonchalantly told that :they're not ready yet". No offer of an alternative bread, no waiting time given. Just a terrible attitude and a sense of carelessness. Be better. Experience 3: I was served by whom I consider to be their best employee. Fairly sure she's a full-timer with brown hair. Very efficient, good manners, smiles, works clean and holds the counter well by herself when under pressure. However, after ordering a roll with meatballs, spicy cheese and marinara sauce I took a bite only to find that the meatballs were dry, black and almost rock solid (almost). Again, disappointed and fed up but not fed. Be better Side note: The garage as a whole is ran dismally. The deli is twice as bad as subway. Burger king isn't too bad and the cashiers/shop floor assistants are clueless when it comes to prompt and efficient service. If you're packing a shelf and you see a line of customers waiting to pay for fuel/products, etc take a 2 minute break from what you're doing and clear the line. Instead, the employees gawk at the queue whilst continuing to pack shelves etc. Meanwhile, all us customers are growing impatient with the one person working the till whom generally, if not most of the time, has no sense of urgency and is not trained adequately on tills therefore making mistakes and elongating the entire process for everyone. Not too mention, you don't even get a smile. The garage is a joke and Applegreen head office need to implement policies, procedures and inspections for their staff and the premises. Pelco is a great example of how to manage a business of the same nature within a garage setting.The big boys within the company should take responsibility too and do a bit of graft instead of floating from outlet to outlet in their lovely suits doing next to nothing other than throwing an eye over the premises and asking the same old questions. Be better. I'm going over to Subway now to order a roll. I will edit and update this review if I have a bad experience. Let's hope not though! 26/10/2024: Ordered a birthday cake for my husband and the cake was unbelievable. So delicious and very cheap compared to other bakeries. Will definitely come back.

21/10/2024: So disappointed with the christening cake I got last Saturday! Left a terrible after taste and it cost me nearly €70! Won't buy a cake here again!!

21/10/2024: Good coffee, not consistently amazing, but to someone who isn’t that into their coffee will have a good mug of coffee. Friendly staff happy to chat and help. Good dessert and bakery food. Charging ports don’t work upstairs though :(

30/04/2025: Very cosy stop off for coffee and other food.. I only got a takeaway Americano but it was really good.. no seating but standing room.. I'd definitely go back 😁

11/12/2024: Coffee is vey good indeed, quick and very friendly service. Sandwiches are great, balanced flavours, great combinations. Personal favourites are the “Brekkie Bite”, “Triple Decker” & “Posh Ham & Cheese”
