14/09/2024: McBrides was our first spot on the roadtrip through the Ireland, and it was a perfect way to kick it off! We are so grateful to Brian that he accepted us in the middle of the night and welcomed so warmly. We would definitely recommend the place to anyone who’s in the area and we are looking forward to be back ourselves!

18/03/2025: Great selection of deli foods and since the new revamp it's range of products are fabulous also the prices are very competitive so not that expensive to shop local. Also the staff are very obliging and friendly.
15/02/2025: The shop inside has been totally modernised and double it's original size. So apart from fueling your device, you could get your daily shopping done here also.

08/09/2024: the chicken tasted so good, but unfortunately i now have diarrhoea.
25/06/2024: I’ve been waiting for a while now to try the chicken roll so when the truck was local for a festival
I got my chance. Fresh rotisserie chicken on a soft roll with stuffing mayo and rocket, very tasty indeed. The chicken was full of flavour with bits of skin, brown and white meat. I really enjoyed it my only negative is that it wasn’t very filling I would have liked more chicken on the roll or include chips especially for the price €11. Worth a try all the same.

09/08/2024: We went as a family of 12..From 2 y old ( they have high chairs) to 65 y old. The setting overlooking the double links course with floor to ceiling windows was stunning. The service was first class. We ordered 6 different meals and every plate was emptied! VERY reasonably priced it it suitable for locals/golfers and passing tourists! I had worse Michelin star meals in London basements! Drop of at the front door.. lift.. and stunning balcony for a smoke! Please support it!

18/12/2024: Afternoon tea during Christmas here was really special and the staff are amazing
28/08/2024: Desperate service in the bar for food or drink , all staff were extremely poor
Walked out after a 20 min wait for no service, who ever is managing the bar should be fired immediately. Left and went to Lawlors hotel where we received an excellent service and far better prices
