The best restaurants

19/06/2025: Have ordered scones from here a few times now and previously was delighted with everything. Most recent order (and the first one made in awhile) was not great, the scones are now packed in plastic which meant they were a little “squidgy” and damp maybe they were packed while still slightly warm. They had also been shaken a lot in transport so 2 of six were completely broken. They tasted nice but I think I’ll stick to visiting the store where possible

04/05/2025: Heard about this through colleagues and got a selection for my parents ,amazing selection ,great tasting and superb delivery service ,would highly recommend and will order again.

01/11/2025: We had such a great experience at The Fiddlers. Kathryn, the bartender was extremely nice, conversed with the four of us in our group the entire time we were there. She had suggestions for the best sights in Ireland, and when I mentioned I had been a bartender she showed my group exactly how to pour a Guinness. A treasure trove of knowledge! We enjoyed conversation with Larry, another customer at The Fiddlers. Great atmosphere and, of course, the Guinness was really good.

04/10/2025: Very very friendly staff and customers recommend popping in

21/04/2025: I went in and asked if I could have a kebab and chips. I was told by the man serving it was €9.50 for the meal. All I asked was "can I get it any cheaper if I don't have a drink as I don't want one" To then be told by him the drink is free and I said "nothing is free"He repeated it's free and laughed. He could of said it will still be the same price but he acted so rude. I asked for a kebab then, which on the website is €8 and he couldn't understand me. This was at about 7pm in the evening, not late at night. I speak fluent English born in ireland He must only still be open in claremorris as he is the only shop selling a kebab. Also on his website it shows lamb doner. Yet he didn't even have it. He is the weirdest person to serve me ever, does he want business. However I enjoyed a supermacs only a few doors along and won't be going back to him.

15/02/2025: In the middle of Claremorris town in a busy street, 3 tables and opposite facing benches inside if you like to eat it in,nothing fancy just basic seating. Food is made to order and fresh,taste average,they are happy to cater your choices like I asked for a kebab tray with out bread and chips. Prices are reasonable.

12/06/2025: The best deli chef around with custom and varied choices, even for veggies. And THE BEST barista in the country. His oat hot chocolate is the best I've ever had and continues to be.

26/08/2025: Marta did our wedding tower for our wedding this August. We organised from a distance so we had to put full trust in her expertise and I am so happy we did. The donuts were fresh and wonderful and the biscuit cake one top for the cutting was the best biscuit cake I have ever had. I had guests who don't eat cake ask to take some home. 25/01/2025: Small, family owned cafe located in the center of town. Sit-down service, excellent coffee and pastries available. Service is excellent, friendly staff.

02/05/2026: Really friendly lads. Loved the veggie burrito, never seen soy chorizo before and it was really nice. Also loved the homemade sauce, highly recommended!
