25/08/2026: To be honest by this point I was about 13 pints into my exploration of Cork but it was a nice spacious place, plenty of seating, with quick service and a lovely pint of Murphy's. Karaoke was on but thin on the uptake, it was a Sunday though. Good vibes.

12/10/2023: Beautiful clothes and lovely staff who provide the very best customer service. Gorgeous Tara works so hard showcasing all the latest pieces on her weekly Facebook lives. I have so many outfits from Poppy Lane, casual to smart and always get compliments. Outstanding 💖🌸🌺

30/07/2023: I called in Saturday. I’ve not actually been in before but follow Tara and team on FB and always loved the look of the shop on the outside. Well, I loved it! It’s so colourful and easy to navigate. Fiona helped me with picking dresses and was lovely and chatty. Myself and my daughter found lots of lovely pieces and we will definitely be back again!!

13/07/2024: Their coffees are lovely and the staff are friendly. The food is on the expensive side. I would return for coffees only.

09/06/2026: We stayed here a year-and-a-half ago and we still talk about how this is the best place we’ve ever stayed in our lives. If there is a room available, for god’s sake GET IT!

14/04/2026: Wholesome food, good service and value. It is a roadside diner and you get what you see. I regularly go here for breakfast and it has never disappointed. When I say breakfast, I mean a proper fry-up, not something like sunkissed avocado on kosher sourdough with vegan cheese.

15/09/2025: Had a takeaway for 2 items - the raspberry polenta cake and the vegan sausage roll. Both were delicious! The polenta cake had a strong raspberry flavour with milder than expected sweetness, as I prefer. The vegan sausage roll was slightly peppery and it was warmed up for me and placed in a heat friendly bag. The ambience of the place is lovely and I wish I had more time to sit and dine.

04/02/2026: The middle aged lady working there intentionally stole money from me. I went to tap my card and it didn't work according to her and then she charged me again. The thing is the first attempt was for 16.50 and the second for 14.50 both were successful, this was done intentionally to avoid it looking like it was a double charge. The food was supposed to be 14.50. Thief! This happened on the night of Feb 1st at 1.58am, I have the receipts to prove it. I don't know if the lady in question is the owner or not, but this is horrible behaviour. I was wondering why she typed on the card machine for the second attempt it's because she stole 16.50 from me. To the owner look at your cameras at exactly 1.58am and you'll see the incident or go through your electronic statements you will see exactly what I'm talking about. I know it's 16.50 but please get this transaction reversed before I take I take this further.

07/01/2026: Very nice food especially the chicken Singapore noodles and spring rolls.

19/09/2025: Highly recommend this place for anyone who is craving chinese food in the area. Place is now only takeaway however flavours are authentic and portions are decent with decently priced food. Gentleman at the counter is also lovely and is happy to provide recommendations to anyone who may want it.

23/04/2025: Came across this place while out walking around the tow on a recent visit. Arrived just before 6pm and the food finished at 6 so we did not bother to eat and they were wrapping up in the kitchen. The pub has seen better days and could do with a revamp, particularly the outdoor area. Reasonably priced drinks. Would not visit again.
