The best restaurants

22/02/2025: Missing Uncle Pete's. I left Ireland about 10 years ago. And to this day I remember my favourite pizza of them all, Snow White. Crazy ingredients put together, one would never thought it meant perfection. Tonight, I'll be trying to make the pizza at home, see how that goes. Hope all is well with those worked in this awesome place.

08/10/2024: Business is closed now. Which is unfortunate as I had a voucher for afternoon tea but it’s fine. irrelevant if google states if open or closed ur still selling voucher for a business that is closed and therefore unredeemable, it is the owners responsibility to inform living social and/or any other company that may be selling vouchers on behalf of the business that you are no longer active. Do you google every place of business you go to check if it is open or closed? Doubtful… a 1 star review is justified as to sell and voucher for something that is unredeemable is bad service. As I cannot comment on the food or atmosphere I will retract these stars, however my time spent going out to your business only to find it closed my time spend trying to get a refund(thus far unsuccessfully) is wasted and thus qualifies as poor service. I apologise if u find this review in poor taste.

30/07/2024: Great place, lovely atmosphere! The coffee and the banana bread were delicious! They also have delicious homemade sourdough breads. The service was good, too. My favourite part is the beautiful cups they serve tea and coffee in!

23/10/2023: Delicious food. Service can be a bit slow but no major complaints

11/09/2023: Pizza is very good and I can recommend it. The only problem was that we were told there were 40 mins to wait and we waited almost 2 hours! Eventually i was so tired and stessed that I was about to leave. By the way the manager was kind and in the end came personally to apologies. I understand things like this may happen on particularly busy days like Friday is, but maybe they will learn from this experience and respect agreed times. For the rest pizza was very good and they were polite so I give good rates.

12/01/2025: Hate leaving bad reviews but was waiting 40 minutes to be seated and while waiting we popped to the bar to get a drink. Ordered a jemy and coke and a cocktail which came to like 35 euro ( was thinking it was a bit pricey but didn't really mind) then was given the jemy and coke and 2 cocktail and realised why it was a bit pricey so explained to the bar man that I'm sure I didn't order 2 cocktails to his reply "well it's paid for now" and walked away so asked the barmaid if they could just instead of giving a refund to just give us the second cocktail later as we would hopefully be having food in the restaurant and said it was ok. Unfortunately got seated at the very back room where the heaters had us roasting, roughly 10 minutes or so go by to get our order taken, had to ask 3 times to get water for the table and only arrived near the end of our mains. Food wasn't amazing but chicken and rice from the korma was overcooked, unfortunately to top it off we waited 20 mins or more for our dessert before getting fed up and paid the bill. Zero faults with the hotel but will not be returning due to the bad experience in the restaurant.

14/04/2025: A group of us had dinner here a few weeks ago. That evening my friends and I were so taken aback and so unbelievably impressed with the young waitress! If I remember correctly it was Maria. Apologies if my memory hasn’t served me in this instance. Speaking of ‘served’ This girl was utterly charming, prompt, has a contagious bubbly personality and was really so professional. We found, unfortunately that she was running the show single handed. It was clear to see that this girl wasn’t being shown the gratitude or respect she deserves by owner/ management. Having worked in the arena of hospitality for some time myself, I could see the dynamics at play and without doubt there was an effort made by an apparent authority figure to selectively point fault at her and to unfairly snipe at her several times with a palpable condescending air which as a matter of fact is the height of distaste and makes for a less than enjoyable dining experience. Perhaps the other waitress who happily stayed in first gear and watched on while Maria was powering around all night… we couldn’t help but notice the blind eye turned to she who dragged her feet. Service with a bright and friendly smile!

03/02/2025: Food very nice and tasty ,service only ok ,no heat on in restaurant and it was absolutely freezing and so uncomfortable to sit back and relax as it was so cold .
